welcome to CIVO Part II
you'll be controlling 3 tribes.
will you be the ruler of the lands, or will you be crushed by the others?

rules:
>max 4 people per tribe
>max 2 actions per turn
>if population is lower than 4 your tribe dies

some explanations:
>each tribe starts of with 6 points divided over biology, geology and thermodynamics
>besides that you get an extra skill e.g: agriculture, smithing or medicines
>when doing an action that involves one of these skills you get a skill point for that skill
>ones you got 2 skill point at 2 skills you can combine
I know this might seems a little difficult but I think and hope that it wont be too complicated
also: magic, you can obtain it at random points so don't start yelling: "RESEARCH DRAGON CONJURING MAGIC"

I would say explore for wood, since we might need to find it first, and Tech seamanship. Because if there was ever a time to tech seamanship, it would be after experiencing it go wrong for us.

I've said my piece, if you wish to change the explore to anything else then I won't have any objections. As long as we do the tech, and wait with the bow upgrade until we know we got good materials for it.

the demon trolls found out the principle of the bow, they made some with their thick rope, but they can't shoot farther than 30m and are really inaccurate, they also improved their woodwork with simple nails

the dribbles were excited about their new discovery and sent another 30 people there to make a small harbor town, they didn't venture into the woods tho, they also created a series of hieroglyphs that also uses color, they started to write simple thinks and small song on pieces of wood but don't pay that much attention to it otherwise (only shamans and leaders can read and write about 200 different hieroglyphs)

the pertills tried to find new types of wood, they succeeded and found small trees about the size of an average pertill with strong and heavy wood.
they also started to train themselves in canoeing, they practice in small ponds and lakes

But I was in another Civ Evo game where the elves who had as their culture to never harm a tree, and then started to chop them down for profit. Things didn't go well for them.

We've been scouting for ores but we end up with magic which is good so I guess mother nature is saying we are to be exclusively mages for the time being. I think we should adopt a fighting style that would be good at evading attacks. Mage academy sounds the most logical.

the pertills took the dragon's offer and gave him 20 unfortunate pertills, the dragon was pleased and gave the pertills the ability to breath fire (about 1.5 m long)
they also made small wooden planks from the small trees they found some time ago

the dribbles also took the offer and left the island as soon as possible, the spirit kept its promise and granted 5 shamans the ability to turn into a lake lion, they tried it out and were able to swim to lake lion bay in less than an hour! (the boats took 4 hours)
they also started construct on a school tower, they build the first part but were unable to build any higher, further technics are needed

the pertills combined their finner and stronger ropes with the newly founded wood and created some good quality bows, they can shoot around 200 m far and have way better accuracy than the first ones, warriors are getting better at shooting with bows but the arrows are still sticks with pointy ends
they also set up a small mining settlement in the south-east, 20 people moved there, they should be careful about spreading their people so much tho

the dribbles finally finished the mage tower, it has 5 levels and on the top a winged sun
they also sent 3 druids, in their lake lion form to the wolves, as the wolves learned about the druids they wanted to talk:

the demon trolls started to show more interest in how they build things, they make small drawings and test things out before building houses

the dribbles went on a journey to find magical things, after some while in the big forest they found a dozen or so big old leafless trees, the shamans said that they were dead so they took their wood, the wood is highly magical and can be used for staffs

the demon trolls scouted at the base of the plateau in the north, they found big grey trees with blood-red stripes, the wood is grey and very heavy and strong

the pertills researched the crystal and found out that it was as big as a pertills hand when cut out of the stone, if light sines through it it makes it green. they also made fishing nets from rope to get more fish out of the lake

Staffs helps us on spells by giving us an easier connection to nature when we hold them.
Flavorwise I'm thinking we slam them into the ground and root ourselves in a way. Slow but powerful magic since we are not good enough yet I think for fast casting.

Tech: Create hotter forges from stone called crucible forges, heated with our fire breath they can melt metal more intensely, burning out impurities to make harder and sharper metal without adding to it's weight, begin reforging our copper weapons and armour to make it better this way. (I'm cool with this taking an extra turn or two since it's a big action)
