LAST TIME ON CHAOS QUEST: >>175793

You decide to use the Black Library as a place to make your Primarchs. You head over to the Scourge and Kalix who welcomes you "Hey Belal, something you need?" "Yes, teleport me to the Black Library" "Alright here you go"

One flash of light later you're standing in the middle of the Old Ones meditation circle. You tap on the Toady One on the shoulder and he stands up "Ah! Welcome master, is there something you need?"

"Yes, I want your assistance in making new Primarchs" you say as the other Old Ones stand up and nod "Very well, let's get to work"

You and the Old Ones begin working on making the new Primarchs: taking DNA samples from you and other wise genetic engineering. Once it's done you have 21 spheres filled with your 'children's' embryos gestating

What will you name them? (Please don't be dicks with this)
>>
>>205733
>Khorek the Vast

If we get to help design the primarchs we name, then:

>The aspects of Belal he embodies are his strength, size, and love of battle.
>Jolly and pleasant demeanor, somewhat of a friendly giant outside of battle.
>Train him to use his exceptional might to wield a large flail in each hand, to crush the fires of the New Imperium.
>>
>>206161
*foes of the New Imperium

Also, I fucking love character creation, and this series. I could happily do this all day, but I don't want to be a dick and hog the primarch building fun.

In case the thread is a bit slow, second idea:
>Endris
>The aspects of Belal he embodies are his impressive senses/reflexes and his phenomenal shooting abilities.
>Second only to his father when it comes to shooting hoops, and an excellent marksman generally.
>Lacks the sheer brawn and strength of Khorek and Belal, but makes up for this by slaying his foes before they get anywhere near him. Will favour long rifles for this reason.
>Quiet, focused, and very determined to achieve whatever is asked of him.
>>
>>206161

I like this anon, I like it alot

Thanks OP, Khorek took a lot of inspiration from one of my recurring D&D characters if I'm honest, but he seemed so appropriate for this role.

For some reason I see his chapter colours being deep orange/burnt umber with yellows and reds on details . They seem like strong battle colours, but not edgy blood reds or Khorne rip offs.

Pic is quick visual of how I'd imagine Endris. Unfortunately it's 2 AM here, and my graphics tablet isn't set up, so it's just a shoddy amalgamation of edited Internet templates, so sorry about that guys!

Hopefully later I'll get an opportunity to produce something a bit more worthy for Khorek.
>>
>>206397

All good anon, this is great. See you tomorrow!
>>
>>205733
I'm crap with names.

I do want one of them to embody Belal's love for B Ball. So charles could work.

Maybe Have Juggy raise one and call them Cain Marko. They have some experience from those psi child from before, right?
>>
>>206589

>I - Khorek the Vast (Jolly giant wielding two flails, loves battle)
>II - Endris (Sharpshooter/Best at long shots with Doomdunk)
>III - Cain the Beastmaster (Affinity with beasts, embodies his father's skill as a rider, often rises Juggy into battle)
>IV - Charles the Courtmaster (Embodies his father's love of basketball, although not quite as good at long shots as Endris, Charles is undoubtedly the finest basketball player of the Primarchs)

Is this an acceptable summary so far? Come on guys, we've got to get at least 5 primarchs done before we go and gank some loyalists to unwind.
>>
>>205733
Sovjedos

he fights with a sickle and hammer, builds stuff. All his legionaries are equal, but some are more equal than others!
>>
>>206589
Livatril
he doesn't just gives the best hugs, he is also the best wrestler among the neo-primarchs!
>>
>>208210
Sometimes it sucks that /qst/ is such a slow board. If anybody is struggling to think of a character/aspect for a Primarch, I'll list some generic archetypes based on Belal's traits we can probably fill:

>Psyker
>Tactician
>All rounder
>Swordsman
>Great leader
>Statesman/negotiator
>Mastery over xenos
>>
>>208256

Summary for any lazy bods:
>I - Khorek the Vast (Jolly giant wielding two flails, loves battle)
>II - Endris (Sharpshooter/Best at long shots with Doomdunk)
>III - Cain the Beastmaster (Affinity with beasts, embodies his father's skill as a rider, often rises Juggy into battle)
>IV - Charles the Courtmaster (Embodies his father's love of basketball, although not quite as good at long shots as Endris, Charles is undoubtedly the finest basketball player of the Primarchs)
>V - Sovjedos (Fights with a sickle and hammer. All his legionaries are equal, but some are more equal than others! Embodies his father's constructive tendencies, building new worlds and creations, as Belal did before him.)
>IV - Livatril (Master wrestler, and unarmed combatant. Rumoured to give hugs so excellent that even the most devoted Slaanesh worshippers struggle to cope with the ecstasy they can induce.)

Looking good guys. Sovjedos made me grin.
>>
>>208292
>Akkios Frent
>Embodies Belal's close work with hereteks and ingenuity with creation of new technologies. Constantly scouring the artifacts taken from the Black Library, and striving to bring progress to the technologically stale human race. Close friends with Scourge (the living warship that now houses the contents of the Black Library), and his brother Sovjedos (often working together to build marvellous ships and fortifications).
>>
>>208292
I would hate to nab all the primarch ideas, but how about
>Ceeky-Brek the Pink Stalker
>a psyker favored by Tzeench, peering into the warp endlessly. He likes to meditate, and be in the "Zone"

also, if there are any anons here with the obsession of "there should be female space marines", then this is the never returning chance of making a female primarch
>>
>>208332
I'm fine with the ladies. I think it would be unfair of us to leave them out. We been open thus far.
>>
>>208332
Might have to run it past the QM, seeing as they're based off of Belal's genome, and the standard astartes gene seed is almost completely male hormones, I have a feeling it was canonically declared impossible.

Please can we also veto any lewd Primarchess incest shit.
>>
I'm not a regular to this quest, but aren't we a Scaven/Capybara-folk or something.

I remember seeing that referenced out and about.
>>
>>208784
In truth I just remember our blood has psi power and our kind tend to be warlords.
>>
>>208815

The way I remember, someone had rolled a really high dub, and made our backstory be that we're scaven, have never revealed our identity to anyone, and are the last of our kind to survive past the Marine Age.
>>
Well here I am. And I love what I see! After making the Primarchs we'll move onto the legions. (Like I said before please don't be dicks with this)
>>
>>208815
We weren't straight up Skaven, we are distantly descended from a race somewhat similar to them (somewhat more reptilian I think?) that tended to be great psykers.
>>
>>209090

Yep, you are basically a distant descendent of Lizardmen
>>
Summary of Primarchs so far, plus a new one, seeing as the thread is particularly slow today:

>I - Khorek the Vast (Jolly giant wielding two flails, loves battle.)
>II - Endris (Sharpshooter/Best at long shots with Doomdunk.)
>III - Cain the Beastmaster (Affinity with beasts, embodies his father's skill as a rider, often rises Juggy into battle.)
>IV - Charles the Courtmaster (Embodies his father's love of basketball, although not quite as good at long shots as Endris, Charles is undoubtedly the finest basketball player of the Primarchs.)
>V - Sovjedos (Fights with a sickle and hammer. All his legionaries are equal, but some are more equal than others! Embodies his father's constructive tendencies, building new worlds and creations, as Belal did before him.)
>VI - Livatril (Master wrestler, and unarmed combatant. Rumoured to give hugs so excellent that even the most devoted Slaanesh worshippers struggle to cope with the ecstasy they can induce.)
>VII - Akkios Frent (Scientist, engineer, tech lover. Hopes to usher in a new era of technological progress for mankind.)
>VIII - Ceeky-Brek "The Pink Stalker" (A psyker favoured by Tzeench. Endlessly peers into the warp. Likes to meditate, and be in "The Zone")
>IX - Verantyr (A vastly powerful psyker, with prophetic powers. Able to hear untold anonymous entities discussing the past, the present, and the futures that may be.)
>>
>>209102
I have ideas that I'm happy to share, but I've already done four, and I don't want to take away anyone else's chance to roll up a Primarch.

Again, archetypes to fill:
>Tactician
>All rounder
>Swordsman
>Great leader
>Statesman/negotiator
>Mastery over xenos
>Gene splicer/physician
>Stormtrooper/rapid attack
>Fleet commander
>>
>>209172

I may as well add my own because of how slow the thread is

>Volthrin the Hunter
>Embodies Belal's determination and anger
>A warrior favored by Khorne, wielding a sword like a surgeon does a scalpel
>>
>>209369

>Outside of combat, he's usually finding new ways of using a sword
>>
>>209369
Yeah, I'll chuck in another:
>Thorren the Duelist
>Embodies his father's honour, and prowess in single combat.
>Lacks the strength of Khorek, Livatril's talents for pugilism and wrestling, or the surgical precision of Volthrin.
>But when it comes to single combat, Thorren and his pair of curved power swords are second only to Belal himself.
>Relishes "honourable" combat. Hunts down the champions, leaders, and heroes of our enemies, and ends them in this fashion.
>>
>>209290
By all means you keep throwing your ideas out there. I know little of lore to begin with and tend to not any many ideas for characters.

Maybe we can have a kid who is really in to the swarm lord we have. Getting us a great bio engineer.
>>
Hell yeah, its Chaos Quest!

Alright here is my suggestion:

>Maurs, The Dark Architect
>Embodies his father's forward thinking and ingenuity
>Passive attitude, almost as if he has no preference to anyone or anything, yet has a distinct interest in necrons and their space technology.
>Fleet Commander
>His tactics for fighting the new imperium's enemies is often so complicated that even if the enemy tries to switch tactics he is prepared to counter them.
>His weapon of choice is a halberd that acts as a melee and ranged weapon when needed.
>>
>>209541

Aaaand I'll add one more for now.

>Andross the Life-forger
>Embodies Belal's expertise in genetic engineering
>While not really a fighter like his brothers, he's a master of creating new lifeforms with various uses
>Has a particular fascination of the Swarmlord and the Tyranids in general due to their variety of traits
>Good friends with Cain, giving him beats for him to tame and use in battle
>>
>>209784
>beasts not beats
>>
Gonna bump this necause we need more people to contribute. So far we are half way to finishing up the primarchs.

>X - Volthrin the Hunter. Embodies Belal's determination and anger. A warrior favored by Khorne, wielding a sword like a surgeon does a scalpel
>XI - Thorren the Duelist. Embodies his father's honour, and prowess in single combat. When it comes to single combat, Thorren and his pair of curved power swords are second only to Belal himself.
>XII - Maurs, The Dark Architect. His tactics for fighting the new imperium's enemies is often so complicated that even if the enemy tries to switch tactics he is prepared to counter them.
>XIII - Andross the Life-forger. While not really a fighter like his brothers, he's a master of creating new lifeforms with various uses
>>
>>210214
Because*
>>
>>210214
Bumping again, cmon guys you get to make a Primarch.

>XIV - Ragnar Oak, "Bulwark of the New Imperium" (A stout hearted warrior primarch. Always wields a huge shield in combat that a standard astartes would struggle to even lift. Lives by the philosophy that the best defence is in fact a great defence. Leads his troops to defend and reinforce the New Imperium's conquered territories. Favours the use of slow moving, unstoppable, heavy forces including specialised titans that act as mobile fortresses.)
>>
I'll also update the summary that >>210214 did, because we need those bumps.

>I - Khorek the Vast - Jolly giant wielding two flails, loves battle.
>II - Endris - Sharpshooter/Best at long shots with Doomdunk. A quiet and determined character.
>III - Cain the Beastmaster - Affinity with beasts, embodies his father's skill as a rider, often rises Juggy into battle.
>IV - Charles the Courtmaster - Embodies his father's love of basketball. Although not quite as good at long shots as Endris, Charles is undoubtedly the finest basketball player of the Primarchs.
>V - Sovjedos - Fights with a sickle and hammer. All his legionaries are equal, but some more equal than others! Embodies his father's constructive tendencies, building new worlds and creations, as Belal did before him.

>XII - Maurs, The Dark Architect - Commander of the fleet, and master tactician. Always ten steps ahead of his foes, their counter-strategies are always anticipated. and inevitably lead into an elaborately planned trap.
>XIII - Andross the Life-forger - While not as much of a fighter as his brothers, he's a master of creating new lifeforms with various uses.

Can we splice some aspects of gene stealers into this one? I'd like to stray from the conventional gene-seed based reproduction at least once and this looks like a good chance.
>>
>>210588
I would imagine that if he's into dat der gene splicing, he'll end up doing that himself, or at the very least doing it to his astartes.

That said I'm voting that our version of gene seeds will be updated using xenos biology/tech from our tyranids and the black library.
>>
Amenhotep
Obsessed with archeotec. Has amazing regenerative capabilities, with his scar tissue having the tendency of incorporating metal. He is jealous of his psyker brothers and therefore dislikes psykers
>>
>>210588
>>210633

Alright then, I will see what I can do to make it work.
>>
>>210639

So he's like an obliterator/mutilator? Projecting weapons from his body by incorporating metal and shaping it into a weapon?
>>
>>210658
I thought was more aiming for having him voluntarily scar himself and then enriching his own scars with adamantine/ ceramite/ metal based nanoengines, producing an effect similar to the Necron`s living metal. Of course Obliterators would be a common sight in his Legion. Maybe he would infect himself with a modified ( read: weakened) strain of the Obliterator virus, enabling him to manifest smaller weapons.
>>
>>210658
I think he was suggesting patchwork metal scars, gradually accumulating into a metal skin.

Just my thoughts, but I feel like the primarchs should stay roughly human shaped, as they're meant to be the paragons of humanity!

Perhaps save the really gnarly augmentations for the respective specialised marines of each legion?
>>
>>210678

Retractable blades and armoured plating could be a valid way to have this silver-skinned primarch do cool things with his metal tissue, while still remaining a primarch of humanity.
>>
>>210690
The human shape woul remain perfectly intact, just the material shaping him would be different, no longer consisting of flesh but of glorious steel. This is the only thing appropriate for a tech guy.
>>
>>210678
I think the metal-skinned scarification alone would be ideal for the primarch, with metal augmentation, metallic plated/bladed skin being a trend in his legion. If the primarch and average tactical marines went much further than that, it would soewhat disrupt legion structure.

These are just my thoughts though, I don't want to force my ideas on the campaign. It's >>210678
anon's primarch.
>>
>>210712
Yeah this sounds really cool. Think of another if you can! We need more primarchs, and everybody else lurking has already rolled up several.
>>
>>210508

Dunno, maybe a conventional book worm:
Morthos, a psyker with necromancy-like powers. True ressurrection eludes him, though he can communicate (in a limited way) with the dead. When not in battle, he conducts funerary rites and studies occult lore.

You're good anon, you've made two primarchs who are quite interesting.

Alright anons there's a few archtypes to fill out

>All rounder

>Great leader
>Statesman/negotiator

Garghumie the Skarred

Rose to adulthood on an Ork world, his first army was a Waaagh he subdued and took over. He can 'tap in' to the Ork Waagh energy field and direct it, giving him some pseudo-psychic powers and increasing his leadership when here are Orks about, and also may be able to use various other Xeno powers against their creators when they're about.. He wears his many scars with a pride, his armour is a mix of the Orkish and Imperial style, and he sees his place as to bring all the xenos breeds beneath the Imperium's boot.
>>
>>211183

Would you like him with or without an Orky accent?
>>
>>211213

I think he would try and suppress it from his voice, but the less he thinks about controlling it at any given time the more pronounced it would grow.
>>
>>211238

Alright then, here's the list so far:

>I - Khorek the Vast - Jolly giant wielding two flails, loves battle.
>II - Endris - Sharpshooter/Best at long shots with Doomdunk. A quiet and determined character.
>III - Cain the Beastmaster - Affinity with beasts, embodies his father's skill as a rider, often rises Juggy into battle.

>XVI - Mothos - A necromantic psyker who studies in the occult and preforms funeral rights while not in battle, despite his powers of necromancy he has yet to find a way to truly resurrect someone from the dead
>XVII - Garghumie the Skarred- A primarch who grew to adulthood on an Ork world, after subduing a Waaagh he can tap into the Orky power of the Waaagh giving him pseudo-psychic powers

Archtypes left:

>Great leader
>Stormtrooper/rapid attack
>Statesman/negotiator
>All rounder
>>
>>211183
I was just trying to think of a way to word a very similar idea for a Waagh energy Primarch! Love your backstory.

OP, seeing as Belal is making sure nobody steals and hides his Primarchs, can we reconcile all their differing backgrounds with some sort of "proving years", where after teaching them the basics, who they are, and how to not fall for the same shit as the first primarchs, he sends them to a range of worlds a to prove themselves.
>>
>>211265
I've got one for stormtrooper, but I lost what I'd typed, just retyping.
>>
>>211277

That's the plan anon, Belal knows that if he doesn't want Horus Heresy 2.0 on his hands. Then he's going to have to tell them NOT to listen to anyone who basically says

"Hey maybe you should try out this new shit. It's pretty sick!"

They won't be tainted by a force that's coming later in the story, hint: it involves paternal figures and a certain source of light
>>
>>211265
>Benzelor
>Embodies his father's spontaneity, and habit of charging headlong into battles others may deem unwinnable.
>Believes that the best place for a warrior is in the thickest part of a battle. Favours jump packs, deep strikes, and drop pods.
>Maintains a playful rivalry with Endris the Marksman, both teasing each other for their preferred style of combat. Although constantly bickering, maintain a strong friendship, as they often work together to achieve what they might not individually.
>Was somehow persuaded by Garhumie that red ones actually do go faster, so always wears red warpaint.
>>
>>211280
This was me with a different internet connection btw.
>>
>>211265
Alright ill contribute one more.

>Krain, The Emperor's Voice
>Stands as the negotiator of the primarchs.
>His ability to persuade people is so phenomenal that often entire armies will stop fighting the new Imperium after hearing any of his speeches and join his side.
>He is an average fighter when compared to his brothers, yet he is known to inspire mere mortals to great feats of heroism with both voice and action.

Also, you know what would be funny? If the emperor was in Belal's head the entire time and, while at first acting hostile, soon becomes his wingman when Belal starts raising his kids.
>>
>>211364

Ohhhh shit! Anon you are a genius
>>
>>211364
I've been wondering whether we've just been part of the emperor's plan all along.

We've kind of legitimately improved the Imperium, which is saying something considering we're a dangerous Chaos Lord.
>>
>>211382
Thanks, OP.

>>211392
Yeah I always believed the emperor had planned for everything that happened after the Horus heresy.
>>
>>205733
im new to this can someone tell me what happened in the last threads
>>
>>211518
There's quite a lot to cover, it might be worth browsing the archives for previous threads. If nobody covers it before I get to my computer (posting on mobile), I'll type up the key points I remember.
>>
>>211635
it only go's to the third thread
>>

Okay, so:
>Belal is a relatively unknown Chaos Lord.
>He is a champion of Chaos undivided, a powerful psyker, and very distantly descended from what are essentially Lizardmen, but to ask extents and purposes, he is human.
>On his ship, he commands his hereteks to craft him some kind of lightning firing gauntlets, and a basketball. They confusedly agree.
>Belal conquers a bunch of low level worlds, and along the way uses his psy powers to dominate a tyranid swarm, which become part of his forces, and some giant creature becomes his mount (named Juggy/Juggernaut).
>He gains the favour of the Chaos Gods for his actions, and Khorne, Tzeench, Slaanesh, and Nurgle all leave their mark on his demonic black sword.
>Belal prays to the Gods to bless his basketball, which he names Doomdunk. He uses it to slam dunk each planet he conquers, and trap their souls within the ball.

More coming...
>>
>>211803
>With the favour of Khorne, Kharn joins him in his quest.
>Belal conquers a forge world, and comes up against some Salamander space marines, one of them manages to shoot his arms off.
>He defeats the marine with his psy powers.
>He prays to the Gods for help, and is rewarded with one bionic arm, and one demonic arm possessed by a character I can't remember the name of.
>Belal dedicates this world to the often forgotten Chaos God, Malice/Malal, and is rewarded with the final mark on his sword, making it much more powerful.
>A greater daemon of true Chaos undivided also jobs his retinue.
>He commands that this forge world manufactures warships, which will immediately set out in a random direction and attack anything in its path, as per the destructive and even self sabotaging nature of true Chaos.

More coming...
>>
>>211869
>I can't remember the exact order, but the following things happen:

>1)
>Belal hosts a tournament to find the finest Chaos warriors for his crusade. The tournament was attacked by The Dark Angels, led by a clone of Lion El Johnson (after they refused our invitation to join the tournament).
>The force is repelled, and Lion El Johnson captured. His safety is used to force the Dark Angels to participate in our tourney.
>We gain a team of elite warriors from the tourney winners, to lead our crusade to Terra.
>We also use Chaos bullshit to absorb Lion's Primarch essence, becoming bigger, stronger, more powerful.

>2)
>Belal battles some Eldar, and captures a Farseer, and uses his powers to charm her into becoming his loyal subject and waifu. She helps us gain some understanding of the webway.
>We bump into her sister, Taldeer in the webway, and she becomes waifu number two.
>We find out from them who we would need to talk to go gain access to the Black Library.
>We find the guy, and interrogate him, eventually using our psy-powers to force the answer from him.
>We gain access to the library and after finding several cool bits of tech and information, decide to steal some Old Ones.
>We get caught and have to fight a bunch of Phoenix Lords/the Trickster God. We get stabbed, but are saved by the Chaos Gods.
>We gain the respect of the Trickster in a warp riddle battle, and come back to fight off the remaining Lords with our retinue.
>We then decide to take literally the entire contents of the black library. We set it up on our Warship, Scourge, which becomes possessed by a daemon, and is now a living battleship/library.

More coming...
>>
>>212008

Note that during the Dark Angel portion of the Tourney, one Dark Angel named Axiom excels, and as the last surviving member of that team, he asks us to teach him, becoming our loyal student. He also gets a huge hammer from the Black Library.

>We get attacked by some space marines, and win a huge space battle.
>We gather our forces, and travel to Terra.
>Using the ever growing power of Doomdunk (which we often use in battle by the way, and I think was used to defeat Lion earlier), we unleash a vicious Chaos Dunk, shattering the shields of Terra. Our forces land and attack, with our retinue leading the attack on the Imperial Palace.
>We lead a huge battle against the Custodes, and finally defeat their commander, allowing us to approach the Emperor himself.
>Using Emperor bullshit he rises, and an epic duel commences.
>We eventually defeat him (with the use of Doomdunk) and use more Chaos Bullshit to absorb his power/essence, becoming Emperor tier powerful.
>Around the time the duel was ongoing, the Eldar and Tau arrive to help the humans.
>Details are blurry, but we wreck their shit, ended up on a Tau world, kill some ethereals, gain a small army of fire warriors, and get back to Terra. We decide to train/use them as vindicare assassins.
>Axiom is tasked with creating and leading our New Custodes.
>Now, as in this thread, we have gone to our Black Library, and with the help of the Old Ones, begin the creation of our new Primarchs.

Somebody screencap this summary for future threads. Apologies for mistakes, omissions, etc.

I think, for realism and survival of mankind, this next one is really important:
Perseus, the Navigator: much smaller and less martial than his fellow Primarchs. With nothing both in materium and immaterium escaping his gaze and his unparralleled proficiency to navigate the warp, the increased number of warp storms poses no problem for him. His genetic makeup is built in a way as not to interfere with the genetic makeup and reproductive capabilities of navigators (no steroids, only growth hormones) both male and female as a means of not driving them to extinction.
Perseus is actually a nice guy and exceptionally nice towards (mostly stable) mutants
>>
>>213593
Don't forget that we're rebuilding the webway!
>>
>>213639
Lets not make the same mistake as big E and put some effort into redundancy. The webway maybe will not work all the time. Also: how do you salvage a space hulk/ defend against enemy fleets/ colonize new planets with fleets that have to remain completely localized due to warp storms? Surely, we have to transport some hardware to the planets before we can make them accessible via webway.
Lets not make the errors of relying on any single infrastructure/person (this is a vote against introducing a warmaster)/technology.
>>
>>213704
Yeah good point, we shouldn't make him too feeble though, we've got to use his gene seed for a legion of astartes too.

Also I don't quite get the reproductive capacity stuff. My lore might be a bit rusty on navigstors, what were you suggesting?
>>
>>213782
Astartes biology, I understood like: "Space Marines are heavily on steroids, so that they have no chance of producing viable sperm, making them infertile"

If you pair a Navigator with a human, it always produces a human, which makes it difficult to recover losses from warp-related deaths or mutations. This means that Navigators are already not so many, which would become worse if we were to remove large numbers of them for the purpose of building a Legion.

To keep the Navigator gene pool and population healthy I suggest not messing with their reproductive capabilities and instead use less aggressive methods that dont affect gamete production as much (like inhibiting myostatin production and producing more growth hormone during adolescence). The outcome would be weak by Space Marine standards, but very strong by human ones.
>>
>>213807
Navigators interbreed within and between houses don't they? And they're ordinarily completely distinct from the astartes. I do agree that a better supply wouldn't be a bad thing though.

Are you suggesting that we create a legion of navigator-astartes? If so it might be better as a linked but separate project, so that we've still got 20 legions of full strength astartes. Also because presumably the new Navigators would need to be distributed across all Imperium ships rather than forming a single coherent fighting force like a legion. Idk, just my thoughts...

Cool idea though, might be good to have better secured travel in the Imperium.

Come forth lurkers, finish what was started before this thread may die

OP, how many Primarchs are we up to?
>>
>>216918
I think we have the full 20 Primarchs.
>>
>>217078
I think we're looking for 21 though. Also, can we put the navigator primarch as XXI please, or it will trigger my autism, as he's a special primarch.
>>
>>217085
He is the special snowflake primarch.

Azryl "The Spider"
>No particular specialties in terms of combat or forces.
>Sinks great effort into gathering information from his widely dispersed web of informants, scouts, and spies.
>Serms to know everything about everyone in the New Imperium and surrounding territories.
>The adaptes under him are sworn to serve in silence, communicating with electronic interfaces, except for specially sanctioned speaking Chaplains.
>Tend to work in smaller groups and even as solo agents, much more so than other chapters. Allows them to spread further, and listen to the whispers of the galaxy.
>>
>>217111
For the sake of not gimping the legion, normal astartes may also be sanctioned to speak when circumstances require it.

Here we are, the Twenty and the One:

>VI - Livatril - Master wrestler, and unarmed combatant. Rumoured to give hugs so excellent that even the most devoted Slaanesh worshippers struggle to cope with the ecstasy they can induce.
>VII - Akkios Frent - Scientist, engineer, master of technology. Hopes to usher in a new era of technological progress for mankind.
>VIII - Ceeky-Brek "The Pink Stalker" - A psyker favoured by Tzeench. Endlessly peers into the warp. Likes to meditate, and be in "The Zone".
>IX - Verantyr - A vastly powerful psyker, with prophetic powers. Able to hear untold anonymous entities discussing the past, the present, and the futures that may be.
>X - Volthrin the Hunter - Embodies Belal's determination and anger. A warrior favoured by Khorne, wielding a sword like a surgeon does a scalpel.
>XI - Thorren the Duelist - Embodies his father's honour, and prowess in single combat. When it comes to single combat, Thorren and his pair of curved power swords are second only to Belal himself.

>XIV - Ragnar Oak, "Bulwark of the New Imperium" - A stout hearted warrior primarch, wielding a huge shield. Leads slow moving heavy forces to defend and reinforce the New Imperium's conquered territories.
>XV - Amenhotep "Silverskin" - Obsessed with archeotec. Amazing regenerative capabilities, incorporating metal into scar tissue. Jealous of his psyker brothers and therefore dislikes psykers.
>XVI - Mothos - A necromantic psyker who studies in the occult and preforms funeral rights while not in battle, despite his powers of necromancy he has yet to find a way to truly resurrect someone from the dead
>XVII - Garghumie the Skarred- A primarch who grew to adulthood on an Ork world, after subduing a Waaagh he can tap into the Orky power of the Waaagh giving him pseudo-psychic powers.
>XVIII - Krain, The Emperor's Voice
>Stands as the negotiator of the primarchs.
>His ability to persuade people is so phenomenal that entire armies have been known to lay down arms and become Imperial subjects after his rhetoric. An average fighter among his brothers, yet known to inspire mere mortals to great feats of heroism.

>>
>>217213

>XIX - Benzelor "Stormrider" - Embodies his father's spontaneity, and habit of charging headlong into battles others may deem unwinnable. Believes that the best place for a warrior is in the thickest part of a battle. Favours jump packs, deep strikes, and drop pods. Maintains a playful rivalry with Endris, both teasing each other for their preferred style of combat. Although constantly bickering, have a strong friendship, as they often work together to achieve what they might not individually. Was somehow persuaded by Garhumie that red ones actually do go faster, so always wears red warpaint.
>XX - Azryl "The Spider" - No particular specialties in terms of combat or forces. Sinks great effort into gathering information from his widely dispersed web of informants, scouts, and spies. Seems to know everything about everyone in the New Imperium and surrounding territories. The adaptes under him are sworn to serve in silence (except when specifically sanctioned, if the fix it the Imperium requires it). Communicating with electronic interfaces, with the exception of specifically trained speaking Chaplains known as "Voices of the Legion" of just "Voices". Tend to work in smaller groups and even as solo agents, much more so than other chapters. Allows them to spread further, and listen to the whispers of the galaxy.
>XXI - Perseus the Navigator - Smaller and less martial than his fellow Primarchs. With nothing in the materium or immaterium escaping his gaze, his unparralleled proficiency to navigate the warp means that warp storms pose no problem for him. His genetic makeup is designed not to interfere with the genetic makeup and reproductive capabilities of navigators (a specialised cocktails of purpose built steroids and growth hormones) allowing his navigator astartes to prosper. A nice guy especially towards stable mutants.

Alright, QM, what's next?
>>
>>217508

And now this:

As months pass by and the embryos begin forming your sons you begin laying out a plan to make sure the Horus Heresy doesn't happen on your hands.

Step 1: Treat them as sons instead of soldiers, that was one problem of the Emperor.

Step 2: Train them in the basics before sending them to worlds. Best they know how to fight first before they do conquer worlds.

Step 3: Make sure to tell them about the warp.

Step 4: Hope it goes well

And at then end of the 4th month your children are now infants, bawling babies. "Looks like you have a task on your hands" a voice says scaring the shit out of you "Who's there? Show yourself" you demand "Very well, here I am" it was the Emperor all along

"H-I killed you didn't I? How are you in my mind?" You ask in slight confusion "Well sonny you merely absorbed me, there for I can show up when I please shitboot." "Oh eat Slannesh's dick you old vegetable" "You first" as you both bicker the Old Ones put the primarchs into cribs and you soon go over to your sons "Want a little advice" "Oh fine, what do you have to say?" "Don't make the same mistakes I did ok? Look where it got me" you now feel slightly sad for the Emperor, he's trapped in your body with his mind basically intact. "Hey, Emperor?" "What?" "How about you help me raise my sons?" "I.....I think I'd like that"

And as the years pass your children grow, Khorek being noticeably larger than his brothers and Perseus being smaller. Either way, you train your children to fight and how to resist the fall to something

After 4 years your children are physically 10 years old. "My sons, I care about you very much. You have an important job ahead of you, and so I will send you all to a world for each of you for 5 years. Once 5 years have passed I will come to pick you up and being you home. Understood?" "Undestood father" they all say in unison

They all enter pods with designated coordinates for a planet for your sons. You wave goodbye to your boys as they shoot of to planets far away "Well, I think we did a pretty good job. Better than raising my kids anyway" the Emperor says with you shrugging "I'm just hoping for the best"

I've gone ahead and made some of the legion names, symbols, color designs for the legions.

I- The Titans, rustic orange and tan brown, symbol is Atlas holding up the world

II- The Piercing Claws, white and green, symbol is a pair of slash marks behind a skull

III- The Wild Hunt- camouflage- symbol is a roaring lion

IV- The Globeslammers- navy blue and white- symbol is a world with basketball style marks

V- The Makers- crimson and yellow- symbol is three stars places with one ontop and the other two on the bottom with a sickle surrounding them

VI- The Ultimate Warriors- black and green- symbol is a luchador-style mask

VII- The Metal Gladiators- grey and white- symbol is a sword pointing through a circle with the hilt surrounded (think the Brotherhood of Steel)

VIII- The Magicians of Tzeentch- blue and yellow like the Thousand Sons- symbol is four pairs of bird wings encircling a book

IX- The Emperor's Diviners- yellow and purple- symbol is a skull with light coming from behind it

X- The Wild Hunt- forest green and red-orange- symbol is twin chainaxes crossed over the head of a tyrannosaurus head

XI- The Swordkings- sand brown and steel grey- symbol is Thorren's curved power swords next to an hand with a bird perched on it

Sounds good? You can handle the other 11

Agreed, new thread OP? Also, did you name two legions "Wild Hunt" or was that a typo?

Love the names though!

>>217961

Seems I slightly fucked up

III- The Riders of Cain

Oh wait! I forgot the war cries

I- "Remember this day! For it shall be your last!"

II- "Try as you like! Death is before you!"

III- "All bow to the King of Beasts!"

IV- jaunt whistling of the old terran son 'Sweet Georgia Brown'

V- "We will create your destruction!

VI- "Prepare to be rustled!"

VII- "Feel the cold of our steel!"

VIII- "All is planned! Your fate is death!"

IX- "The past is ours! Which controls your present! But you will have no future!"

X- "The hunt begins! You are our quarry!"

XI- "Kneel or be knelt!"

It was a typo, it's now fixed.

New thread is up! >>218267
