LAST TIME ON CHAOS QUEST: >>205733

Now with 11 legions left to make, you better get started because it has now been 4 years since you sent away your sons to different worlds.

With help from the Emperor and Old Ones: you are now making legions, ten down eleven to go.

Now to make these legions
>>
>>218267
Oh fucking great, my computer crashed just as the new thread goes up... Hope I can fix it, I hate posting from mobile...
>>
Here are the primarchs currently without legions

>XII - Maurs, The Dark Architect - Commander of the fleet, and master tactician. Always ten steps ahead of his foes, their counter-strategies are always anticipated. and inevitably lead into an elaborately planned trap.
>XIII - Andross the Life-forger - While not as much of a fighter as his brothers, he's a master of creating new lifeforms with various uses.
>XIV - Ragnar Oak, "Bulwark of the New Imperium" - A stout hearted warrior primarch, wielding a huge shield. Leads slow moving heavy forces to defend and reinforce the New Imperium's conquered territories.
>XV - Amenhotep "Silverskin" - Obsessed with archeotec. Amazing regenerative capabilities, incorporating metal into scar tissue. Jealous of his psyker brothers and therefore dislikes psykers.
>XVI - Mothos - A necromantic psyker who studies in the occult and preforms funeral rights while not in battle, despite his powers of necromancy he has yet to find a way to truly resurrect someone from the dead
>XVII - Garghumie the Skarred- A primarch who grew to adulthood on an Ork world, after subduing a Waaagh he can tap into the Orky power of the Waaagh giving him pseudo-psychic powers.
>XVIII - Krain, The Emperor's Voice
>Stands as the negotiator of the primarchs.
>His ability to persuade people is so phenomenal that entire armies have been known to lay down arms and become Imperial subjects after his rhetoric. An average fighter among his brothers, yet known to inspire mere mortals to great feats of heroism.

1/2
>>
>XIX - Benzelor "Stormrider" - Embodies his father's spontaneity, and habit of charging headlong into battles others may deem unwinnable. Believes that the best place for a warrior is in the thickest part of a battle. Favours jump packs, deep strikes, and drop pods. Maintains a playful rivalry with Endris, both teasing each other for their preferred style of combat. Although constantly bickering, have a strong friendship, as they often work together to achieve what they might not individually. Was somehow persuaded by Garhumie that red ones actually do go faster, so always wears red warpaint.
>XX - Azryl "The Spider" - No particular specialties in terms of combat or forces. Sinks great effort into gathering information from his widely dispersed web of informants, scouts, and spies. Seems to know everything about everyone in the New Imperium and surrounding territories. The adaptes under him are sworn to serve in silence (except when specifically sanctioned, if the fix it the Imperium requires it). Communicating with electronic interfaces, with the exception of specifically trained speaking Chaplains known as "Voices of the Legion" of just "Voices". Tend to work in smaller groups and even as solo agents, much more so than other chapters. Allows them to spread further, and listen to the whispers of the galaxy.
>XXI - Perseus the Navigator - Smaller and less martial than his fellow Primarchs. With nothing in the materium or immaterium escaping his gaze, his unparralleled proficiency to navigate the warp means that warp storms pose no problem for him. His genetic makeup is designed not to interfere with the genetic makeup and reproductive capabilities of navigators (a specialised cocktails of purpose built steroids and growth hormones) allowing his navigator astartes to prosper. A nice guy especially towards stable mutants.

>Colors: Black and Dark Green

Thanks dude, I'll try and knock up one for the Space Ravens.

Any preference for which of the colours is main, and which is trim on the shoulder pad?

And to clarify, is the bird claw grabbing the planet just the claw/talons, or is it the whole bird grabbing with its talons?
>>
>>218951

Anon, you make glorious shoulder pads for the marines. And I think the main color is black and the trim is dark green, and it's just the bird claw
>>
>>219145
Thanks OP, I'll start that one next.

Also, if anybody else wants to create some in the same format so we get through them a bit quicker (plus it summarises the texts posts nicely), I'll post my resources.

Attached pic is my basic shoulder pad template. I'm just using the paint bucket tool to fill colours, and dodge/burn or lighter/darker coloured airbrush/soft brush to get a bit of shading.

The symbols are just shamelessly ripped and edited from whatever I like the look of when I google "xyzxyz silhouette" or something similar.

I'm using font sampling websites to get the appropriate font, google "Calson Antique Bold font generator" and the first link was fine for me (1001 fonts or something). Currently I'm just screenshotting the samples (Calson Antique Bold), because I cba to download the font.

I just arrange the shoulder pad and text neatly on a 900x900 white background.

Here ya go dude. Sorry this one took a while, I really struggled to make anything resembling a talon grabbing a planet. Still not that happy with it, so if anyone wants to re-try this one that's absolutely fine by me.

Also, I think the word for a group of ravens is an "unkidness". A group of crows is called a "murder". Don't know if this affects your naming at all, just thought I'd check!

Here's an edit in case you decide on crows over ravens, for the sake of murder puns. I'm going to sleep now, it's like nearly 3 AM here. Thank the emperor my finals have finished, so it doesn't matter. I'll try and post some more in the morning.

Last post for the night:

XIX legion - Stormguard
Primarch - Benzelor "Stormrider"
Colours - Yellow with black
Symbol - Lightning emanating outward from the outline of a small circle.
Warcry - We are the eye of the storm!
>>
>>219566

Alright anon, have a good night sleep. And see you tomorrow, mean while I gotta prepare for a trip I'm going on

So night anons, keep the thread bumped
>>

You did very good, anon. Nice work.

As for the name, then I agree we should change it to space crows.

Anyhow I'm getting really sleepy. I'll try my hand at the pauldrons later. Night anons.

Welp, I didn't bother saving the components. I cba to start from scratch now, maybe later. I'm not too unhappy with it.

Riders of Cain attached. I took some liberties with a gold trim/symbol, because I thought it looked appropriate for a lion, and nothing was visible if I used only a camouflage palette.

Turns out I had a few earlier saves recoverable. Managed to pull out enough to make pic related. Bigger symbol does look good though, good suggestion. Can't currently make it bolder though.
>>
>>221205

Ahaha, maybe they were inspired by them. Ask OP, he chose their legion colours/symbol in the last thread. They're somewhat less sneaky though, given their tendency to use huge war beasts...
>>
>>221190

Yeah, I probably should've picked a secondary/detail color else the symbol wouldn't look like a splotch of paint. So good job

>>221205

A mix of reasonable marines and Space Wolves. Just replace wolves with dinosaurs and big cats. And remove the viking theme

>>221370

Perfect! Now I will be sure to find a way to make have Stalin be a space marine.
>>
>>223428
The thread has been so slow today! Perhaps after the legions are finished we should create a summary image/text piece, and start a new "Book" in the saga... Chaos Crusade: Chapter 1 or something. I think that noobs are intimidated to join a quest that's already 5 chapters deep if they haven't followed from the start.
>>
>>223506

Fine idea anon! If we do make a book, let the image be Belal dunking the Emperor's head as an audience cheers on: consisting of Kharn, Lucius, Typhus, Ahriman, our waifus and the gods
>>
>>223559
Sounds ideal. Let's all push to finish up or creations, and get back to conquering the galaxy! I promise to write up names and details for at least 2 more legions in the morning (assuming there are plenty left), as well as a bunch more shoulderpads.

XX legion - Wraithmarines
Primarch - Azryl the Spider
Colours - White with dark purple trim
Symbol - A spiderweb with an eye in the middle
Battlecry - They don't speak ... Maybe in writing it's "Fear our silence!"
>>
>>223663

The chaplains could say it for the rest of the marines. And they could be pretty fucked up with it and form it using enemy corpses and blood, like silent Night Lords
>>
>>223755
These are excellent ideas. The 20th legion sounds like a bit of a spooky one anyway with their whole silent Watchers vibe, and being more likely to operate as splinter groups and solo operatives. Leaving menacing slogans written in the blood of their foes sounds very fitting.
>>
>>223831

Fun guys they'll be. And if anyone would like it, they could use grenades that cause hallucinations and 'OH JESUS CHRIST' levels of fear
>>
Love the work.

Symbol- A hooded skull with flaming eyes
Warcry- Rest shall never come to you!

No problems anon. Had to use white on the decal, as purple was either too dark to see details, or a ludicrously bright purple. Hope it's okay.
>>
>XVII legion - The Emerald Horde
>Informally - The Imperial Waagh
>Primarch - Garhumie the Skarred
>Colours - Green with yellow and red trim. >Many marines also have one checkered black and white shoulderpad.
>Symbol - Imperial winged skull, done in the orkish style.
>Warcry - With inhuman fury!
>Often accompanied by less coherent cries such as "waaaaaaaagh" and "more dakka for da Emprah!"
>>
>>224995
You do amazing work man. Makes one feel like shit for only sending suggestions. Gonna need to update the screen cap to include all this work.

Here Is a suggestion before I head out.

>Legion XVIII: The Throne's Men
>Primarch: Krain, The Emperor's Voice
>Colors: Gold with a dark blue trim
>Best Chaplains in all the legions due to their Primarchs talent in rhetoric.
>Symbol: A hand grasping onto a crown of thorns
>Various litanies and speeches, such as: "WE FEAR NOT DEATH, FOR SALVATION IS AT HAND!" Or "HEAD OUR SONGS, LEST YOU PERISH FOR NOUGHT!"
>>
>>226314
On second thought, that sounds too much like word bearers. Gonna suggest something else.

>Symbol: The side view of a man yelling
>Warcry: Entite speeches that take the entire battle to finish. They begin on the ship before deployment. That's right, they are yelling out over the bolter fire to their troops about how awesome they are and how shit the enemy is, or about how even though the enemy is 1000:1 compared to them, they still are going to beat the shit out of the enemy. Officially, their Warcry besides the speeches is: "HEAR OUR VOICE, FOR THIS IS YOUR END!"
>>
>>226697
>>226314
Thanks dude, but the suggestions are just as important, if not more so, they're the content that keeps the story going!
Nice work, I'll try and sort a pauldron soon.
>>
Legion XV: The Sons of the Sun
Primarch: Amenhotep
Colors: gold, silver with blue trim
Symbol: Ankh, with the circle replaced by a cogwheel and 8 arrows pointing away from it
Warcry: What doesn't kill us, makes us harder!
>>
>>227359
Dude you nailed it with this one! I've been trying to think of a cool sounding legion for Amenhotep all day, but couldn't quite get it right! I'll try and get back to making shoulderpads shortly.

I had to go silver/gold this way round, as The Throne's Men got to the gold with blue colour scheme first, hope that's okay.

Two versions incoming, as the logo was difficult to draw up. Difficult to get a cog with arrows onto an ankh, and still have all the elements be recognisable. I prefer the version attached, as it's a bit neater/cleaner, but it only has seven arrows coming from the cog, as the eighth point joins it to the ankh. Second version coming in a second.
>>
>>227992
Aaaaand, here's the second version.
>>
OP here, came here to say that these legion's you're all making are amazing. And that there are two primarchs that need a legion left

I Just realized that's 14 Pauldrons. Anon, you are more than awesome, if such a word to describe so exists.

XXI legion - The Pathfinders
Primarch - Perseus the Navigator
Symbol - Two closed eyes, with a third eye open above them.
Colours - I can't think of decent colours that aren't too similar, any suggestions? Ideally something that marks them as a non-standard legion (these are the navigator-astartes).
Warcry - Ours is the path to victory!

Some other anon do the last legion (Andross's legion), I don't want to spam the post with my posts more than I already am!
>>
>>228270
Ahaha thanks dude, it's nice to find a board/thread worth contributing to, people have had such cool ideas!

>Colors: Grey with Dark Green trim
>Symbol: Claw ripping through something (Pic related as example)
>Warcry: "Hear our Creations! Hear them Roar!"
>>
>>228378
Actually, switch the green out with light yellow. Too many of our legions already have green.

Yeah, the one colour thing sounds good, I'll try maroon and blue-grey, and see which looks right. If I can't decide I'll post two versions and leave it to the anons on here to decide.

The Emerald Horde's pauldron is done. It's as garish and Orky as Garhumie could have hoped for!
>>
>>228378

Alright, since we have the legions ready. Now can Belal go pick up his kids from 'school'?

Or we can wait until we get the pauldrons are finished
>>
>>228540
I'm happy for the thread to go ahead whenever! I'll keep pushing through the pauldrons, and weighing in on Belal's decisions. I'll probably only manage one more pauldron tonight, it's pretty late here.

What point are we aiming to get to to end book 1 of Belal, ready for the noob-enticing thread reboot? Collection of the Primarchs and prep for the crusade? Or perhaps QM can't say because of plot/spoilers/suspense reasons...

>>
>>228612

Well, the end of book 1 is coming soon. But I won't spoil anything yet! Because I have a pretty big spoiler will come near the end. And so let's get to work!

It has been five years since Belal sent his children to different worlds. Where they are he knows: but time has a way of changing things. "Belal" a voice says, a psychic manifestation of the emperor stands beside Belal with his council of allies behind him.

"It's time" the Emperor says, Belal nods as he moves himself away from the map of the stars. Though he now must make a decision

Which of his sons should he see first?

>>228768

Very nice anon! Your hard work is appreciated
>>
Rolled 38 (1d100)

I guess numerical order? Khorek first? We can order advance parties to locate and guard them all until we get to each of them.
>>
Rolled 68 (1d100)

>>228823
Agreed.
>>
Rolled 96 (1d100)

>>228823
Unless we're particularly close to any of them, in which case, just taking the most efficient search route.
>>
>>228839
I think we love our sons equally, as a way to prevent them from getting jealous of one another and to prevent a HH 2.0 from happening again.
>>
>>228823

Any order is alright. But since you suggest Khorek, then Khorek will be the first.

"Alright my friends time to go pick up the kids" Belal says as you all head to the Scourge "Welcome aboard everyone, are we doing it?" Kalix asks "We sure are! Take us to-" Kharn says nudging you "Khorek, numerical order is good" "Alright, let's get going" Kalix says

The engines roar to life as you all head to the world Khorek is on: Pendra. You arrive in orbit on the world "Kalix is there anything you could tell about this world?" Eliphas asks "Well it's a medieval world for one, it's currently it's undergoing a bit of a civil war.....it's not very good" the daemon says as Eliphas smiles "Perfect"

You land on the world and see it has rolling hills of green grass, clear blue waters, and a cloudless sky. You have to admit: it's beautiful here, but it's time you go see your son. You begin searching until you come across a knight in orange: you decide to speak to him "Excuse me, do you know a warrior who's named Khorek?" The knight slightly jumps "You know about your leader? Who might you be?" "I am his father" you reply

The knight nods and gestures you and your companions "Then follow me good ser!" you and everyone with you begin to walk, and walk, aaaand walk. Until you come across an encampment of moderate size

The knight rushes into a tent, a few seconds later out comes a man of your size: fair skinned with steel grey eyes, his fiery hair is tied in braids along with his beard which reaches down to his chest

"Knight Mordin says you have come to see me" his voice is deep and brass like, sounding like grumble, "Yes, I have." you tell him as you walk over, "I missed you father." "I missed you to son." you both hug one another a very strong one, you feel like your back popped a bit

What now?
>>
>>229017
Ask our son about how life has been since the past 5 years, and what's this talk about a civil war?
>>
Rolled 41 (1d100)

>>229081
>>
>>229081

"So, how's the last 5 years been for you Khorek?" Your son looks over at the ragged looking peasants and shakes his head "It's been a bit of a mess really. Come and I'll show you what I mean" you nod and lead your companions to follo your son "So what's this about a civil war?" you ask him to which he groans "Aye, the moment I got here a whole shitestorm has been going on. Peasants got tired of how the lords and nobles got it easy: peasants being taxed up to 90%, lord's right to first night, used as canon fodder in wars, and there foods been taken from them because the king demands it"

You all stop and see a massive castle in the distance "King Hamod: aka The Tyrant Fool" he says in disgust "Seems like a typical higher up in the old Imperium" Eliphas says dryly "What do you need to do?" Araghast asks "Well funny you should ask uncle Araghast. You could help me out, seeing as how you, my other uncles, and father are all great warriors. You could help me"

"Son I came here because I need your help" you say to Khorek "Father, if you help me. I will do whatever you ask of me"

Seeing as your son has asked you to bring down an asshole of a king in exchange for help, how do you plan on taking the castle?
>>
Rolled 86 (1d100)

>>229225
It will be a grand spectacle. First, our sons forces will stand at the highest hill looking over the asshole's castle.

As soon as the asshole sends out his army, Khorek will raise his hand and we will appear in a thunder hawk above the sky. When the warcry is sounded, we will fall from the sky into the enemy and begin a spectacle of death and gore in the name of FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY.

Meanwhile, Ahriman and the Psyker guard will make their way around the back of the castle and open the bridge for us to storm from.

Once we all get in, we will drag the asshole from his high tower kicking a screaming and yell out:

"THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO THOSE WHO DARE SPIT AND SPILL THE BLOOD OF THE CITIZENS OF THE NEW IMPERIUM!"

Before we throw the asshole, weaponless and armorless (Along with his lord/baron friends if we find them), into the crowd of very very angry peasants for them to deal judgement.

Then ask your son if he wants to be king. If he says yes, he becomes king and this place becomes his legions homeworld. If he says no, then we declare this world a new part of the new imperium and make sure no corrupt shit lords take control in our stead.

MEAN WHILE, AT THE LEGION OF DICKS

King Hamod was lazily sitting on his throne "My lord! The rebels have gathered on the hills!" A messenger says to which Hamod laughs: one that was grating to the ears, like having knives stabbing into your eardrums "Ohhh perfect! Send out the armies, crush them to dust" he says "Very well!"

General Leopold has gathered his troops outside the castle and into the field "REMEMBER THIS DAY! FOR IT SHALL BE YOUR LAST!!" Khorek says

A thunderhawk swoops right in the sound of the engines roaring causing Leopold's troops to clasp their ears. Belal and his companions drop down into the fray. Eliphas, Araghast and Kharn cutting down the soldiers one by one.

"GENERAL!! THESE AREN'T EVEN WARRIORS, KHOREK HAS SUMMONED DEMONS TO K-" the soldier had his head sliced right off by Lucius: with it landing right onto Leopold's lap, Lucius taking his time torturing and raping the soldiers mean while Typhus was spreading plauge and Huron laughing to himself as he unloads round after round of stormbolter shots

"Alright kiddos, let's do this" Ahriman says as he and the psyker guard begin to bring down the bridge "ARCHERS FIRE ON THOSE WIZARDS!!" someone says as arrows bounce off off their power armor. Soon the bridge comes down "THE BRIDGE IS DOWN MY SON, LET'S GET KILLING!!!" Belal says as he Kharn and Eliphas says every Khornates favorite line

And so they entered the city, Khorek's soldiers fighting the defenders of the city. Khorek cornered Leopold smiling spinning his flails "No where to run" Leopold screams as the flails smash into his body repeatedly until he's nothing but bruised muscle and broken bones.

Mean while Belal and company enter the throne room "PLEASE DON'T KILL ME! I CAN GIVE YOU WOMEN, GOLD, WEAPONS ANYTHING OH PLEASE DON'T KILL ME" he begs like a bitch to which Belal let's out demonic cackling "I'm not the one who will kill you."

After searching the palace the various lords and ladies, barons and baronesses are brought to a balcony along with the king as Khorek stands besides Belal "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO THOSE WHO DARE SPIT AT AND SPILL BLOOD OF THE CITIZENS OF THE NEW IMPERIUM!!!!" you and Khorek cry in unison: you rain the rich down to the poor. The vengeance filled with torture, murder, and a bit of rape. Lucius overseeing it and participating

"Well son, the planet needs a new king." "It sure does" "Would you like to rule? The people sure do love you" Khorek things for a moment "I think that would be good. So what is it you wanted from me?"

Belal smiles to his son and tell him about the Chaos Crusade and of his children: The Titans. "Hm, well. Could I recruit from Pendra? The warriors here are hardy and strong, children are trained at a young age to be knights." you contemplate on this for a moment, "Very well. You can" "Thank you father"

What now emperor?

Alright, lets check the primarch list.....

Hmm, looks like our next course of action is to find Endris. In the meantime, contact the titans and have them set up base here on Pendra. Let Khorek know his sons are coming to meet him and that we will be back once we find the rest of his brothers.
>>
>>229416

You open a vox com to the first captian of The Titans. "This is Emperor Belal to first captian Arthur. Come in" "I am here my Emperor" a low voice says on the other end "I have found your primarch" "Which planet" Arthur says excitedly "Penra" you say "The legion is on it's way"

You approach Khorek and he turns over to you "Your sons are coming to meet you." Khorek nods "Very well....I presume you are leaving now?" "Yes." "When will you return?" "I will be back when I find your brothers, wait for me Khorek"

Khorek nods again "Be quick" he says, you say your goodbyes to your son and the people. As you and your companions return to the ship "Alright boss, next one on the list is Endris." Kharn says as Kalix pulls up a map

"He's....riiiiight about, here!" He says and pulls up the planet

Hive world Aria

You travel to Aria, unlike the last planet however: you're hailed in by a child who's near the landing pad. You exit the ship and head to the child, small little boy by the looks of it: "The Phantom Lord wishes to speak to you" he then starts heading towards a tower

Shrugging you follow behind the child, as you walk you notice the people are all whispering various things "That's his father", "I can't believe it", "We were so blind" a great door opens up and you see one in white and green power armor before you

On his back a rifle that even a space marine couldn't use without ripping his arm off. He's wearing a hood to hide his face: "It's great to see you again father" he says with a voice that sounds like poisoned honey, he lifts his hood to show his face: rugged but handsome features, short cropped copper hair, a slight stubble on his face with a scar on each side, his eyes were green to match the trim of his armor.

"Endris, it's good to see you again" Belal says as Endris smiles "Same with you, I guess it's time for a family reunion?" "It's along the lines of it yeah" Endris chuckles a bit before turning to the people

"Everyone! My father is here! What I have promised all these years will come to fruition, and we shall be prosperous!" the people cheer on as he turns back to Belal "I'll be sure to explain when I can" he says "Very well, I will tell your sons to come here"

You open a vox channel to first captain Eros "Captian Eros! Your primarch is on the planet Aria, don't keep him waiting" "We won't my emperor!" the young warrior says happily

"Well son, I'll be back when I find the rest of your brothers. You keep here and be sure to have your sons get settled in" Belal says to Endris rubbing his head "I will, be quick!" he says before you return to the Scourge

"Well two down nineteen left to go. Let's hope it keeps going smoothly" Sindri says "If it all goes well then maybe I can admit I was a shitty parent after all" the Emperor says

This. Ask Khorek if he and an envoy of his Titans would like to come with us. Foster dat brotherly love.

If he feels it would be best to stay and build up his legion, offer him the appropriate resources (armour, gene seeds, scientists, ships, etc.) and advice. Ask him if he has messages he'd like to pass on to his brothers.

Before we leave, either way, have a fatherly chat with him, reinforce our love of him and the importance of family, as well as supportive discussing his last few years. Also commission a pair of the finest power flails to be built, as a gift to congratulate him, tell him he done good.

Well my boy, since Tzeentch clearly likes this idea. Then it will be done so via his magic

You head over to Skoti and the Old Ones "Could you all build two power flails? They'll be fine gifts for Khorek" "Of course!" they say as they head to the library and get to work

You are teleported to Khorek and wave him "Hello son" "Father? I thought you were going to get my brothers first?" you laugh a little bit before placing a hand on his shoulder

"Son I came here to say how proud I am of you. You managed to hold yourself against tyranny because you thought it was right. Like Angron did" you say bemusing the daemon primarch

"Really? Well I'm sure he'd be proud!" He says laughing happily patting your back to which he nearly knocks you over. "Well I also wanted to ask do you need anything? I can give whatever you require: armor, gene-seed, scientists, ships whatever you need."

Khorek contemplates this for a moment before looking down to his children who are sparing with one another "I could use just about everything you asked father, thank you" you send a psychic message to your favorite troll

"Hey Tzeentch mind sending me somethings my way?" You tell him what you require "Hmph, alright. Sending it your way now." "Thanks!"

You look outside to see several ships: one a gloriana-class ship for your son, three dozen teams of scientists ready to work, power armor, and stock piles of gene-seed

Khorek seems nearly moved to tears by the gesture "Thank you.....dad." "No problem son" and you see a box that may contain the power flails

"Son I have another gift for you" you say handing Khorek the box "What is it?" "Open it and find out!" you tell him as he opens it up and smiles

He pulls out twin power flails: three balls and chains on each grip ready to smash into something "I love this! Power weapons!" Khorek starts laughing and runs out to try his new weapons his words echoing through the halls being: "I LOVE YOU FATHER!!"

You hear sniffling, and as it turns out: Sindri is crying. "Awwww, the little sorcerer is crying over parental bonding?" "Oh.....s-shut up!" you teleport back to the Scourge smiling in satisfaction

Aww, thanks OP. Can we find out more about Endris' five years? He seems to be fine, but we should check what he's been up to. An hour of talking to him and helping him set up shouldn't affect our journey too much.
>>
>>229705

Well alright let's do so.

Doing the same you did for Khorek you teleport to Endris who is firing his sniper rifle down on hive gangers: the shots turning them into red mist. You clear your throat "Endris" you say as he turns and sees you, slinging his sniper rifle on his back.

"Oh hello father! Is there something you want to talk about?" he asks you "Well I was just wondering what your five years has done for you?" Endris nods and sits down in a chair to which you sit across from him

"Well it's very different really, what happened during my time was I became lord over it. You see I ended up running with hive-gangers who were in the lower districts: I was an assassin, super-soldier and good at my job" he says as you nod

"One day the planetary governor of the planet hired me to do something: in exchange he would set me up for life. What I had to do was assassinate several families that were against the govenor. Don't feel bad for them father: they were into some VERY fucked up things, murder, torture, snuff films, you name it" you bemuse to yourself that it was probably Slanneshi worshipers

"Anyways, the jobs done. So the governor tries killing me: I slaughtered my way through them all. But not him, I kept it up everyday: killing his friends, family, associates, everyone he's ever met. Until the day I come he offs himself, it was then the people declared me the planetary governor"

"I declined: saying that I'm a lord. I told the people to prepare for your coming, it was a few months ago, you came, and here we are now" Endris says smiling "It's great to finally show the people who you are." "Well you are my son, so they love me because they love you"

You both laugh as you stand up "Well, I'd like to day Khorek says that you both would be good partners" "Really? Well I might take him up on that offer"

You nod and point outside to show Endris ships, scientists, power armor, and gene-seed so he can begin readying himself. "Thanks!" Endris says happily.

You then bring out a new rifle for Endris. It's a bit longer than the one he currently has "Is this for me?" "It's for you son." Endris takes the rifle and checks it over.

He takes a test shot at another hive-ganger: the shot tears him in half at the waist "Thanks dad, good luck finding my brothers" he says to you as you wave goodbye and return to the Scourge

What now?

I would suggest moving onto number 3 (Cain?). We should ask for Khorek and Endris to keep us updated with the building of their legions, nd perhaps ask them to sort some minor local problems to give them their first taste of commanding their astartes, and to keep them on their toes. Quelling small local rebellions/xenos threats, or other milk runs. Save the big stuff for when we're all ready to go.

You open a vox channel and leave a message for your sons to listen to "Sons I just wished to let you know, you have a 'homework' assignment for you all to do: I want you to keep me updated on how your legion is building up, and be sure to head out with your astartes and quell a rebellion, crush a xenos threat or anything. Get a feel of wha it's like to command: good luck!"

You close the channel, and just in time! Kalix has found the location of Cain

A feral/death world, Damos

You begrudgingly head to the planet and make fall in a drop pod, as you and your merry band of murderers step out you can note one thing:

Trees are everywhere

But you can only enjoy the look of brown and green for so long, as you get to see a predator heading your way. The beast resembles a mix between a spider and toad in a sense: multiple eyes, eight legs, wet flabby skin, jumps with it's hind legs, and this thing is the size of a house. But just when you're about to kill it you see a very interesting sight

Warriors riding on lions that would make the wulfen of Fenris give pause. The lions were the size of vans at most, the warriors riding them were in tribal like garb throwing spears at the spider-toad

It takes a spear to the abdomen for it to die and the warriors to cheer. "Excuse me do you happen to-" you're cut off as one hunter steps forward "You come see Beastmaster" he says as he leads you east

You can see a tree of monumental size before you, whole villages on the sides of the thing: the tree itself appears it could reach nearly a mile or even ten. Your tourguide takes you through a hole at the bottom of the tree and leads you to a sort of throne room where beasts of every kind are there

You see a man on the throne: his hair black and put into knot slightly seen from behind his head, he has a stern and solemn face that bears red war-paint, his eyes are blue as water. It takes you a bit before you realize he's wearing a cloak made of reptilian skin, you also notice behind him are two creatures

One is like one of the lion creatures you saw earlier, only this one is the size of a predator tank. The other a saurian creature that is like that of the ancient Terran tyrannosaurus combined with a triceratops. He gets up from his throne and walks forward to you: and bows, "I am happy that you have found me once again, father" he says with his voice echoing slightly from the tree's walls

"Rise my son" you tell Cain who does as he is asked

"So Cain, what were your five years like for you?" You ask your son, he looks back to the two beasts and they come to him before he speaks "Well, despite this planet being an utter nightmare for anyone to survive on: I've done well" he says with the last line having a twinge of relief in his voice

"Care to tell me what happened?" You ask before pointing to the beasts behind him "And what might those be" Cain nods before sending away the warrior who brought you here

"Well, the moment I landed on this world: it wasn't very great. I had to fight tooth and nail to survive on this planet, that is of course until I met" he points to the lion then to the dinosaur "Leones and Tyratri" you nod in understanding before he continues "Anyway it was then I learned to tame beasts, I just need to find a way to put them to use besides being killing machines. I began taking control of the other tribes in the area and began teaching them how to tame beasts as well. And so they made me a sort of chieftain if you will of this newly formed tribe" Cain says before smiling "It was rather fun"

You can't help but be impressed by your son's ability to use his resources well, he managed to carve out a tribe from using predators to act as an ace for him. You smile a little bit "Son, that story was very inspiring. And the idea of using the beasts? Brilliant" you tell him to which he shrugs

"Yes, all very inspiring. So what have you come to see me about?" He asks you arms folded over his chest "I'm bring you and your brothers together to begin a crusade. Would you care to join me?" You ask him placing a hand on his shoulder, Cain looks to the ground for a fee seconds before nodding "Wouldn't have it any other way." "Perfect, now as we were talking I contacted your sons to meet you. Is that alright?" "Of course father, just have them meet me in the forest in the west"

You nod before informing first captain Monchita to go once they've reached the planet with supplies in hand. "Perfect, so I guess this may be goodbye for now?" Cain asks you nod before heading out side of the tree, you return and give your son a weapon: a spear like weapon with one end being like a power halberd, but the other end is like a chain-weapon variation of the tip of a spear.

Cain gives the weapon a few test swings and thrusts with each end of it before nodding in approval "A fine gift father! Thank you" he says as you smile "No need my son, unfortunately I must get going on finding the rest of your brothers." "I understand, keep safe" he tells you. You both say your goodbyes as you travel back to the Scourge

Anon, don't you remember? We already have fine basketball players right now

Kalix does his thing again and shows a world that looks like a non-gas giant variation of Saturn. The planet is called Camda, and so you and your group travel to it. The planet is noticeably orange from where you see it, with black fault lines across the planet

You touch down and exit the ship, first thin you notice is that it's a civilized world. Second: there are statues of all kinds showing someone playing basketball, beating his opponent handily and throughly with slam dunks: Yep, Charles is here alright.

You all make your way to a palace that oddly enough (oddly enough as in COMPLETELY LOOKS LIKE) someone turned the Imperial Palace into a basketball stadium. As you enter inside you hear a roar of cheering from an audience of ten billion people watching something

You make your way through the crowd so you may see what's happening: a basketball team. Between one hairless giant with the ball who keeps doing tricks for everyone to see.

Charles, you nerd. He is going against a fat unassuming man who has been struggling through out the match: 792 to 0. Ten seconds left on the clock Charles takes the ball and gives a spinning dunk that makes you feel proud that boy inherited your skills at basketball

The clock counts down: 5 swish, 4 swish, 3 dunk, 2 dunk, 1 dunk, 0 swish. Game over, Charles heads back to a basketball shaped version of the golden throne smiling "Well Augustine Voltine, for your criminal ways and inability to at least get nine points on me. I here by sentence you to death" Charles says before throwing his ball as far as he can at the fat mans face, sending his head flying

"You really have kept your skills!" You yell out "Who said that?" he asks standing up, but he sees you. He seems shocked, and he jumps over to you and gives you a hug "Hi son" "Hey dad, it's good to see you again" "Same with you" you both exchange hugging one another, it causes your band of big super-soldier people to start crying a bit "Don't feel bad! Sindri did it too!" you tell them to which they groan "Oh shut up Belal" Huron mutters along with everyone else.

1/2
>>
So dad, what's happening?" Charles asks letting you get a good look at his face: it appears smooth but nothing really stands out about it, his eyes are
a very dark brown which makes them almost seem like they're black. "Oh nothing much son. Want to join me in some basketball?" you ask pulling out DoomDunk out smiling, Charles can't help but laugh "Alright alright, let's do it!"

The game starts: DoomDunk in the air, you and your son reaching out for it, it's knocked back to you. A few minutes have passed and the game is neck and neck: You- 892 Charles- 884. The game is one that causes everyone in the stadium to go absolutely insane from the hype of it all, you could even see your old friend Cegorach watching you play. "Come on dad! Let's keep it up!" "Keep up? Are you sure you can do that?" no more fairness for your boy, time for real chaos ball. You leap up into the air spinning: thank shit the arena has no roof. You keep spinning and spinning until you're literally on fire

And then comes the decent, DoomDunk crackling with warp energy "CHAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS, DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNK!!!!!" You say as you slam the ball hard enough to send a shockwave through out the stadium and break the glass of the backboard.

3.2.1. Buzzing fills the air as everyone floods in and lifts you and your son up, you see the Globeslammers coming into the atmosphere firing fireworks for everyone to see.

It was the most glorious basketball game of all time.

Hours later and after telling your son about the Chaos Crusade you unfortunately have to say goodbye. "Dad, will I see you again?" "Of course you will, I just have to bring in your other brothers first. Be good, keep working on your long shot, update me on your legion building, and try and commanding the astartes. Ok?" Charles then nods in agreement "Alright, bye dad!" you wave back to your son as you return to the Scourge. Four of your sons have been found, still plenty more left to go.

With four of your sons found, it's time they begin to start working together. You open a vox channel to the ships of your sons "My sons, it's time that you meet together. Meet on near the Eastern Fringe and work together on fighting the Tau, I'm sure that they'll be a good start for you in fighting."

MEANWHILE, NEAR WEABOO SPACE CHINA.

Four gloriana-class ships have made their way to the Eastern Fringe: the ships Kronos, Unseen Vengance, Goliath, and Three-point all stay in vigilance ready to attack once more ships come

"Endris, good to see you again." Charles says on a vox to his brother and heated b-ball rival "Ahhhh, Charles! Have you been working on your long shot?" "Of course, The Courtmaster needs to be perfect at his game or else he isn't a master." Endris can't help but laugh at that "Yeah, keep on saying that"

BACK TO THE SCOURGE

"And on to Sovjedos, where ever he is" Araghast says marking off a list as Kalix marks the map on the planet

Yimiris, an ice world. And off you go to a winter wonderland, once you land on the planet the ship already feels thirty degrees cooler. Once you step outside, it's another story:

It's a blizzard outside, you can't even see a few feet in front of you. The air stinging your skin like hornets, you and every one around you, Eliphas, and Huron put on helmets so you can block out the cold. "Alright let's find my son, and then get off is frozen hellhole" you day as you all begin to march through knee-deep snow to find Sovjedos.

The search was reaching the 11th hour "SOVJEODS!!" You shout out along with everyone but Kharn and Lucius: who shout out "SHAUUUUUUN!!!" and "JASON!", inevitably the cold starts even getting to you all.

One by one you all start to fall down: Huron, Ahriman, Lucius, Huron, Eliphas, Typhus, Kharn. Your eyes begin to blur, but before you fall unconscious you see a figure standing in front of you.

You wake up in a bed in an unfamiliar room. "You're awake, how about that." you hear someone say in a thick Valhallan accent, you turn around and see a man wearing what looks like a commisar's cap, and he has a thick black mustache that stretches to his sideburns. His skin is pale white in contrast to his void colored mustache, his eyes are a hazy blue, his skin rough and weathered. "Hello father it's good to see you once again." he says as you groan

"What even happened? Where am I?" you ask clenching your head "You are in my home, in the city of Sovejedogrand. Glad you came to find me, I need your help dealing with angels." He says

"Angels?" you ask, you see the Emperor manifests right in front of you "Belal....I have found a problem" "What could that be?" "I managed to find something, it says that it was born when my physical body technically." "Well does this thing have a name?" "Well, it calls itself:"

Nice work.

Alright here is the summary I got together.

>Belal is a relatively unknown Chaos Lord.
>He is a champion of Chaos undivided, a powerful psyker, and very distantly descended from what are essentially Lizardmen, but to ask extents and purposes, he is human.
>On his ship, he commands his hereteks to craft him some kind of lightning firing gauntlets, and a basketball. They confusedly agree.
>Belal conquers a bunch of low level worlds, and along the way uses his psy powers to dominate a tyranid swarm, which become part of his forces, and some giant creature becomes his mount (named Juggy/Juggernaut).
>He gains the favour of the Chaos Gods for his actions, and Khorne, Tzeench, Slaanesh, and Nurgle all leave their mark on his demonic black sword.
>Belal prays to the Gods to bless his basketball, which he names Doomdunk. He uses it to slam dunk each planet he conquers, and trap their souls within the ball.
>With the favour of Khorne, Kharn joins him in his quest.
>Belal conquers a forge world, and comes up against some Salamander space marines, one of them manages to shoot his arms off.
>He defeats the marine with his psy powers.
>He prays to the Gods for help, and is rewarded with one bionic arm, and one demonic arm possessed by Sindri.
>Belal dedicates this world to the often forgotten Chaos God, Malice/Malal, and is rewarded with the final mark on his sword, making it much more powerful.
>A greater daemon of true Chaos undivided also jobs his retinue.
>He commands that this forge world manufactures warships, which will immediately set out in a random direction and attack anything in its path, as per the destructive and even self sabotaging nature of true Chaos.
>Belal hosts a tournament to find the finest Chaos warriors for his crusade. The tournament was attacked by The Dark Angels, led by a clone of Lion El Johnson (after they refused our invitation to join the tournament).
>The force is repelled, and Lion El Johnson captured. His safety is used to force the Dark Angels to participate in our tourney.
>We gain a team of elite warriors from the tourney winners, to lead our crusade to Terra.
>We also use Chaos bullshit to absorb Lion's Primarch essence, becoming bigger, stronger, more powerful.

>Belal battles some Eldar, and captures a Farseer, and uses his powers to charm her into becoming his loyal subject and waifu. She helps us gain some understanding of the webway.
>We bump into her sister, Taldeer in the webway, and she becomes waifu number two.
>We find out from them who we would need to talk to go gain access to the Black Library.
>We find the guy, and interrogate him, eventually using our psy-powers to force the answer from him.
>We gain access to the library and after finding several cool bits of tech and information, decide to steal some Old Ones.
>We get caught and have to fight a bunch of Phoenix Lords/the Trickster God. We get stabbed, but are saved by the Chaos Gods.
>We gain the respect of the Trickster in a warp riddle battle, and come back to fight off the remaining Lords with our retinue.
>We then decide to take literally the entire contents of the black library. We set it up on our Warship, Scourge, which becomes possessed by a daemon, and is now a living battleship/library.
>We get attacked by some space marines, and win a huge space battle.
>We gather our forces, and travel to Terra.
>Using the ever growing power of Doomdunk (which we often use in battle by the way, and I think was used to defeat Lion earlier), we unleash a vicious Chaos Dunk, shattering the shields of Terra. Our forces land and attack, with our retinue leading the attack on the Imperial Palace.
>We lead a huge battle against the Custodes, and finally defeat their commander, allowing us to approach the Emperor himself.
>Using Emperor bullshit he rises, and an epic duel commences.
>We eventually defeat him (with the use of Doomdunk) and use more Chaos Bullshit to absorb his power/essence, becoming Emperor tier powerful.
>Around the time the duel was ongoing, the Eldar and Tau arrive to help the humans.
>Details are blurry, but we wreck their shit, ended up on a Tau world, kill some ethereals, gain a small army of fire warriors, and get back to Terra. We decide to train/use them as vindicare assassins.
>Axiom is tasked with creating and leading our New Custodes.
>Then Belal went back to the Black Library, and with the help of the Old Ones, begin the creation of his new Primarchs.

Primarch List:

>I - Khorek the Vast - Jolly giant wielding two flails, loves battle.
>II - Endris - Sharpshooter/Best at long shots with Doomdunk. A quiet and determined character.
>III - Cain the Beastmaster - Affinity with beasts, embodies his father's skill as a rider, often rises Juggy into battle.
>IV - Charles the Courtmaster - Embodies his father's love of basketball. Although not quite as good at long shots as Endris, Charles is undoubtedly the finest basketball player of the Primarchs.
>V - Sovjedos - Fights with a sickle and hammer. All his legionaries are equal, but some more equal than others! Embodies his father's constructive tendencies, building new worlds and creations, as Belal did before him.
>VI - Livatril - Master wrestler, and unarmed combatant. Rumoured to give hugs so excellent that even the most devoted Slaanesh worshippers struggle to cope with the ecstasy they can induce.
>VII - Akkios Frent - Scientist, engineer, master of technology. Hopes to usher in a new era of technological progress for mankind.
>VIII - Ceeky-Brek "The Pink Stalker" - A psyker favoured by Tzeench. Endlessly peers into the warp. Likes to meditate, and be in "The Zone".
>IX - Verantyr - A vastly powerful psyker, with prophetic powers. Able to hear untold anonymous entities discussing the past, the present, and the futures that may be.
>X - Volthrin the Hunter - Embodies Belal's determination and anger. A warrior favoured by Khorne, wielding a sword like a surgeon does a scalpel.
>XI - Thorren the Duelist - Embodies his father's honour, and prowess in single combat. When it comes to single combat, Thorren and his pair of curved power swords are second only to Belal himself.

>>

There's probably been a typo somewhere along the line. Hopefully we can put the correct spelling in the next thread.

Nice work dude. What's written in the opening post, is up to OP really, but to get more anons I suggest something (relatively) short and sweet, such as:

>You are Belal. Until recently you were a powerful Chaos Warlord, but after a crusade to Terra and an epic battle in which you defeated (and fused with the soul of) the Emperor, you are now the leader of the New Imperium.
>You have diligently worked to build your new legions of space marines, and the primarchs (your sons) to lead them.
>Having sent them as children to hostile planets to honestly their survival skills and combat prowess, you have started your journey to gather them all together, to help you lead your empire.
>As you meet your fifth son, he tells you of an ominous new enemy threatening your budding New Imperium: The Starfather.

After this point, I guess we're waiting to hear from OP.
>>
>>234573
Indeed.
>>
Anons these are perfect. Great job all around, and now I will give what can be written for the opening post.

>You are Belal, a member of the Black Legion recently promoted to be a chaos lord.
>After conquest after conquest, you storm Terra and through the powers of chaos: fused with the Emperor
>You and the Old Ones worked together on making new primarchs for your New Imperium
>As you meet your fifth son you come across word of a new enemy. The Starfather
>>

Thanks OP, glad you liked.

Perfect, you managed to get it even more condensed. Looking forward to the start of the new story.

What will the new title be?
>Chaos Crusade
>Chaos Lord: Rise of the Starfather
>WH40K: Dawn of the New Imperium

Idk, something to entice people in, and get them posting. There seems to be promising number of WH40K fans on this board at least.
>>
Man this game is going places and it all started with a few weapons we wanted.
>>
>>235202
Yeah, from such humble beginnings! I bet the anon who asked the hereteks for a basketball didn't imagine it would be the inspiration for an entire chapter, and our most powerful weapon used to storm holy Terra and defeat the Emperor.
>>
>>235201

>WH40K: Dawn of the New Imperium

While I like Chaos Crusade, it sounds like chapter for the next book

>>235202

It's pretty amazing. And by 'pretty' I mean utterly

It's been a great ride so far.
>>
>>235650
Indeed, it has been an entertaining quest so far. Lets see how the next book is like.
>>
>>235727

The next book will have plenty of action, god-killing, political madness, intrigue, and plenty of other amazing things.

Here's some things that you may/may not come across: a battle station built by the noise marines for the noise marines, Cegorach again: this time with more jokes!, Abbadon's arms, and the realm of the Star Father.

Can't wait. Let us know when the next thread is made.
