Oh shit nigger it's a /qst/ adventure thing. That I'm pretty sure I saw someone did before and I'm ripping them off but I can't remember the name so I can't credit them. Yea.
6+1 persons form an adventuring party in a nondescript generic fantasy land. Each with their own colour code for my convinience: Green, Blue, Yellow, Teal, Orange and Purple. Also Red, Who is a robot, but nobody bothered to investigate yet.
Each chacacter needs at least 1 player to be the voices in their head to tell them what to do n shit. And the party only needs 4 active members. The rest are part of the Backup Reserve Formation.
Just give yourself a name with the character's team color to identify which person you belong to. Ex: Yellow Faggot"
The party's current quest is to travel to the Obvious Evil Tower to Rescue the Princess.

Regardless it's now evident that I can't sleep tonight because if I do something else bad'll happen that I would have been there to stop. Like us losing our brain.

Maybe you guys notice something's wrong with Armok, and decide to investigate?
wink wink nudge nudge.
To be fair though, I'm pretty sure even if we get the brain back OP won't let us put it back in.
>>1266478
Last time we found out there's actually a time limit on rescuing the princess so I'm kinda eager to make progress on that, especially after we failed the Murderbeard quest
>>1266479
Fair enough.
The irony. I participate in these (autistic) adventures to bring myself some kind of purpose that I so sorely lack in life. Now I have no meaning even in fantasy.
>>1266472
Yes. Now who wants to get some new skills?

Well, to keep your crotch clean, what else.

Yeah, I'm sure about getting revive. I can't imagine wings would have much use inside of a building, and revive is the more in-character option anyway.

What do we get

I'll roll with Counter then. While Parry seems more useful, Chester's more of the DPS rather than any tanks or the likes.
>>1266539
>And we made the brain bigger. It accomplished nothing. So why do we bother?
brain is muscle. we can train our muscle to be the most muscular muscle out there

Sure. I'm fine with this.
You know we'll probably have to wait for them to come get us for a while? Since they're now on a time limit.

Guess so. I still want to give him a goodbye however, since that's like the 5th party member that is now out of the party, and the first who did so without having to die.
>>1267512
I'll be here mate
>>1267512
yay that was some crazy shit
Op can Clackie get his new ability now?
>>1267512
I'll be there, even if I won't be there I'd be there half an hour after
I'm here too now, whenever you get back
As well as myself. I'm still up for some more 'venturing.
>>1267554
you missed the most insane fight
>>1267565
Yeah I read through it.
Also I wish purple wouldn't burn through all the gold with training.
>>1267568
same, there have been some great items in shops that we were too poor to buy
Alright, i'm back. Who's still in here?
>>1267576
Ready for action.
>>1267576
need new ability
>>1267576
Rattelinf my lemon shooter
>>1267579
Very well. Let's start with you:
Choose one
- Counter: If you win a defense roll you damage your attacker - Passive
- Fists Fury: Roll 2d6, choose the higher one for results - Ability
>>1267587
counter
>>1267576
Whiny little mechanical dwarf who didn't get his V-Fin or any upgrades representsat least I'm not in a jar
>>1267591
now no more running off and wasting our time to save you
>>1267589
Well that's done.
Alright gang. Let's go solve the mystery of the haunted mansion. Maybe it was Old Man Jenkins dressing up as a ghost all along!?
>>1267593
Alright gang, now on to character creation
>>1267592no promises
>>1267593
Doesn't Teal need to roll a new character? He retired Jet Ree for now, and so he lacks a person to play.
>>1267593
nice try op, I killed old man Jenkins a long time ago. I even payed for that crime and I am a free orc, let's save the princess
>>1267597
No you didn't! Get im officer!
Clackie Chan has been arrested
>>1267587
Can i get a cha ability?
>>1267599
oh shit
good bye last original
>>1267599
hey yes I did! it was a slap on the wrist too because no one liked old man Jenkins!
>>1267602
Whaddaya want? A trombone?
>>1267605
But that wasn't a real slap on the wrist. Now it's time to give you a slap on the wrist. With a chainsaw.
>>1267607
yeh im a skellington. I cant think of anything either.
>>1267613
hey that's double jeapordy
you cant do that!
>>1267613
plus that isnt a real cop, that is stripper orc. He's putting himself through orc college.
>>1267617
fuck you
I hope it's not since OP is in the pic.
>>1267619
You're the one who admitted he murdered an old man, not me
>>1267622
an old man no one liked. Paladins approved because he liked the company of demons.
>>1267616
'course I can. Iam da law.
Pay no attention to what's behind me.
>>1267625
I'm pretty sure judge Op that you didn't pass the bar exam.
>>1267625
Take both boxes
>>1267625
Oh i wikk let teal do a character if i have to sCrifice an additional skill
>>1267631
You'll never catch me judge op!
I forgot
do we have an arm or not
>>1267630
what a bro
>>1267625
Even the law must respect the law, and that includes the police districts' boundaries.
Also, hope you don't mind us using the things behind you.
>>1267631
welp op looks like the crime here is never trust the irish.
>>1267632
Damn you. Damn you i say. Damn youuuu
>>1267633
Yes. A mechanical one. Exactly like a normal arm.
>>1267636
True
>>1267639
>Yes. A mechanical one. Exactly like a normal arm.
I mean we have BOTH arms, right?
>>1267639
Old human wizard named Tim
>>1267643
and what is his favorite color?
>>1267644
Teal
>>1267643
Oh look everyone! Right after Jet Ree quits. An Old Wizard named Tim walks by for some reason.
>>1267641
Well I dunno. DO YOU
>>1267639
Wait, didn't we have access to extra races before? Or do we need to find a mystery box to reunlock them?
Rolled 1 (1d2)
>>1267649
DO I?!
>>1267650
Yes.
But he went for the human wizard right away.
>>1267649
So what cool magik does Tim have?
>>1267650
Mystery box wasn't there this time
>>1267649
Do you keep snacks under your hat? Can you conjure up warm beds?
>>1267653
I mean, it's fine, but he might've wanted to mix things up by being a Human Barbarian Wizard or something.
Anyway, what about Green's new ability?
Ill be away for half an hour or so
>>1267652
fuck
>>1267654
Well lessee:
Choose a school of magic Tim is specialized in:
- Earth
- Wind
- Fire
- Water
- Necromancy
- Metal
- Metal
- Fist
- Healing
- Alchemy
>>1267652
>1
No.
>>1267665
can't we attach like anything aside of arm then to the shoulder? We are mechanical anyway
like cannon or sword or drill or something
>>1267665
Choose the right kinda metal my dude.
I ll still be here till my battery runs out
>>1267668
Yes.
But sadly your team mates used up all the free upgrade points.
>>1267665
I think the latter/former Metal might be a good school of magic. AKA the heavy kind.
>>1267668
this is exactly where you started
>>1267665
Allright let's be a heavy metal wizard. I wanted some gravity control shizzles doe
>>1267681
There never was such a chance
>>1267680
Ah yes. TIM HAS THE POWER OF HEAVY METAL.
He can poof up metal. THey're quite heavy.
[ba dum tish]
>>1267681
Yeah. If there's any other mad scientist mechanical creations running around.
Probably not though.
Actually let's make it definitely not. Yeahhh
>>1267688
Aight so what metal powers do I have
>>1267686
If you still cant tell false from real entivements you havent been paying attention. There never was a chance
>>1267688
...Well, they'll hurt if they are thrown at people. Can we have a quick look to our inventory?
>>1267688
WHAT DWARF NEED TO DO AROUND THERE TO GET ONE ADDITIONAL ARM OR SOMETHING TO FILL THIS VOID
>>1267693
stop being stupid?
>>1267689
Well the usual heavy metal related powers:
- Summon block of metal that's heavy
- Throw said block of heavy metal at people
- Summon axe
>>1267701
can he summon heavy metal arm for us?
>>1267701
was kinda hoping metal music wizard but it happens.
>>1267706
those die too quickly
>>1267706
>he didn't get the axe pun
>>1267701
Ye I think we're actually a heavy metal music wizard
>>1267709
ANYWAY
Is Green still present?
>>1267709
You should act like one either way
>>1267715
>>1267717
Very well. New Green Skills.
>>1267737
>No Drill Hand option.
>>1267738
You just didn't look hard enough
Rolled 5 (1d6)
>>1267740
can I look hard enough for spare hand
>>1267740
oh shit, mystery box. Open that shit up!
>>1267741
Nah. That ship already sailed.
>>1267747
Change the shape into a hand and remove that disgusting text
>>1267747
since green is absent let's go on our quest to save the princess
>>1267753
Are you suuuuuuure?
>>1267755
why do we need money? that hasn't stopped us before let's just fucking go alreafy
>>1267754
i mean neither is enticing.
>>1267754
so i take the mystery box
>>1267763
>>1267758
Nah. You don't ahve that skill yet.
>>1267766
it took 6 threads to kill the bandit boss. Don't say we got time, because each thread we end up wasting it.
>>1267767
flaming skull, lock in and take
>>1267767
If I'm a heavy metal wizard shouldnt gold be the primary thing I summon since it's heavy and a metal?
>>1267766
We don't have money for supplies, and we can always leave the tower and come back
>>1267769
But that is because, as far as I know, everyone were rookies. We're more experienced now, so it should take less threads to do a quest.
>>1267774
That's why I'm saying we go look for something to get some dosh quick. But if you all want to head to the tower without supplies, then I'm just a minority, and have to accept the majority opinion.
>>1267781
no, it will take too long we go now.
>>1267770
You now have a perpetually flaming skull. It gives no stat boost, bue it makes you look cool.
Oh and you can use it to scare mooks.
>>1267784
that is so fucking exactly what I had in mind.
Did I ever level up by the way? or am I close to it?
>>1267784
Summon a metal guitar and shred some epic tunes
>>1267785
You did. The stat gain was done last thread. Skills were left for this one.
>>1267789
good stuff
>>1267789
let's gooooooooo
Since Calfort now has a burning skull, we can finally focus on getting money to buy stuff to help in the tower, or head to the tower sans any new supplies or money. I'll go with the former, as that seems to be more important.
>>1267789
Soren goes for the tower and says "hey guys let's go to the tower"
>>1267788
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AfNOKQdY-U
>>1267802
Now this is something to boost our morale
are we there yet
>>1267804
Morale Boosted. Everyone in party gets +1 to all stats for the next battle.
Anyway, whatcha gonna do now? Leave and head for the tower or mess around town for a few days.
>>1267811
Tower, we can leave and come back if we want to. I just want to make headway.
>>1267811
Well, if we are 100% heading to the tower, what should we do with the extra jar'd brain? Sell it to some jew for gold, bring it to the paladins or whatever for EXP, or just bring it along with us?
>>1267811
Everyone seems to be thirsty after some princess ass so let's go and save the bitch
>>1267811
Save princess
>>1267811
to the tower
What colors need a player?
>>1267811
get some paint to paint over writing on our new arm, or wash writing off
then tower
>>1267814
Drop it off with the Paladins on the way, that seems like the right thing to do
VERY WELL. THE PARTY LEAVES TOWN.
The trip will most likely take a few days.
>>1267821
Any color
>>1267814
>inb4 that's Dick's brain
>and it can be ressurected
Bring it along. We could find a zombo or something in the spoopy tower and do non-elective brain transplant.
>>1267828
jesus this is going to take a thread just to get there.
>>1267828
Thankfully the time limit is dependent more on threads rather than days. Maybe head westward-ish to see what the cave has in store.
>>1267833
I know right.
>>1267834
CHESTER PROPOSES THE PARTY HEAD FOR THE CAVE. WILL THE OTHERS FOLLOW?
fold map in half and walk directly to tower.
>>1267814
i could use it, but it would result in another detour trying to save me as I'm taken over by whichever evil entity it belonged to.
your choice
>>1267836
Sure, we can stop by and say hi to my dad.
>>1267836
tower
purple doesn't understand
>>1267836
Can we go up to the hermit and left to the tower, bypassing the monster hills?
>>1267845
name tag dropped, check ID.
I'm telling you, 5 threads can go very very quickly.
What are you all gonna deny this >>1267839 HalfDragonWereWolfManThing a family reunion?
>>1267850
please we all know his old dragman is disappointed in him for becoming a werewolf. we don't have time to waste.
>>1267850
yes
fuck families
>>1267858
your mom was a whore first
>>1267856
BUt what if his dad is being attacked by dragonslayers rite now?!
>>1267850
Pat Master Betty on the shoulder and tell him how your father was always disappointed in yourself as well since you chose to pursue a career of wizardry instead of construction worker
>>1267862
he'll be fiiiine
>>1267862
if only he gives us a riDE directly to the tower. ONLY IF HE DOES THAT!
>>1267862
I mean, did he deserve it?
>>1267864
And now, a flashback to Tim's troubled childhood
"NEEERRRRRRRRRRRRDDDDDDDDD" - Tim's dad
>>1267869
as if he'll share
I bet he doesn't even have spare arms
>>1267872
fuck you gold stealing mongoloid. You are only buff because you took most of our money, it's your fault we a broke in the first place.
>>1267873
Love ya dad
>>1267877
"Love ya too. Ya giant NEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRDDDDDDDDDDD" - Tim's Dad's spirit
>>1267876
Well it was either that, or me being useless because of my much lower stats, and again, I argued for us to get some gold to get stuff before heading out!
>>1267879
is mustache genes?
>>1267846
OP?
>>1267879
Come on guys it'll be fun. He can probably even fly us to the top of the tower, skipping a bunch of bullshit.
>>1267881
you didn't need to use so much gold you selfish prick
Alright nerds. Whatzit gonna be?
>>1267894
to the tower
>>1267894
Visit cave
>>1267894
Putting a vote on visiting the cave, and a vote on going around the hills. We need the quest done, and those two options are the quickest.
>>1267894
Well if Betty's dad is being attacked by dragonslayers, we should go to the cave. Otherwise I say straight to tower
>>1267894
Go to the tower, we can check out the surrounding area later. We don't know how big or small the tower is or how much time it'll take to traverse.
>>1267894
Visit cave
>>1267894
tower
Rolled 6 (1d6)
Lemme do this first
5-6: Betty's dad is okay
1-4: Oh shit dragonslayers
>>1267904
Welp. Since Betty's dad is okay. Teal's vote goes to the tower.
Looks like the party is heading str8 fo dat tower
>>1267904
Well, I guess now the cave is a more useless location, but there's still a god damn lake between us and the tower.
>>1267907
Indeed. The party faces their first obstacle: A lake.
>>1267911
Try to summon a boat made of a metal which is less dense than water so it would float
>>1267911
Well, we could waste time walking around, or perhaps Calfort could ferry us across. It depends on the depth of the lake, however.
>>1267911
Betty could fly us across one at a time
>>1267919
you can fly too
>>1267921
He can't fly. He chose to be able to revive instead of being able to fly.
>>1267911
Someone should toss the brain out into the lake to see if and giant lake monsters attack it.
>>1267915
You should have probably figure out by now that your "Heavy Metal summoning powers" only extends to conjuring a small block
>>1267924
Conjure multiple small blocks and use something to hold them together
>>1267924
doesn't bones float cause they are not solid?
can't we just sit on green while he swimming across
>>1267924
I will go around
>>1267924
go around
>>1267925
Oh shit the metal bocks are gonna fall on the others
>>1267927
>>1267929
>>1267934
DODGE
>>1267934
"Everybody, take like five big steps back. Fast.
>>1267934
Jesus. Let get out from the shadow of the tower of heavy metal, and go around the lake, since nobody really has good plans on getting across it.
>>1267934
Cut them in half with Holy Sword as they fall
>>1267934
I got an idea let's dodge the lake!
>>1267935
>>1267939
>>1267940
>>1267938
M8. Did you see I list "Control Metal" in your skillz list.
>>1267948
I'll dive between the metal plates and the people in a way that doesn't have me fall flat on them
>>1267948
doooodge
>>1267948
Controlling something you summoned shouldnt need a skill of its own desu baka
>>1267951
I love excuse to be as lazy as possible
>>1267954
I'M A TRIANGLE
>>1267954
just have the metal tiles be erased sloppily by some unspecified higher power
>>1267954
I thought we went with the 'go straight to the tower' option so that we don't waste time? Do I need to carry everyone to get them around the lake or something?
>>1267957
Well we know the Lord is with us so it's not out of the question
>>1267957
Crisis averted.
Oh hey bump limit. WELP GUESS IT's THE END OF THIS EPISODE. ONLY 4 THREADS LEFT UNTIL QUEST FAIL.
SEE YA LATER
Updates:https://twitter.com/notapaladin
>>1267959
it's how op works. we make a choice and he delays it as much as possible with little things.
>>1267959
Well orange would be the one carrying everyone but the alternate option is to go around the lake and swing by the hermit, OP confirmed it's possible
>>1267964
Or swing by my dad's place.
>>1267962
and then when we have fucked about too much, suddenly the threat appears.
Always.
>>1267961
I'll bump your rump
>>1267971
I'll eat your dog
>>1267961
It's only the bump limit, not the image limit! We went over the bump limit before, so why not do so now?
>>1267974
Jokes on you I don't have a dog
>>1267967
We should decide before next thread
>>1267977
Buy yourself a hotdog, a sausage in a bun, a rod in cheeks
well we managed didn't kill myself
other reds will be proud
>>1267992
The Lord smiled upon you
>>1267992
Well, that's true, and people got some good loot. I shouldn't really feel too judgemental against everyone.
