Comes now the march of time, and the emergence of gods! The universe is still fairly new and in constant flux, with various gods appearing to attempt to bring order to the chaos... or not. However, can they get along and cooperate to bring the cosmos to peace and harmony, or will they tear it and themselves apart in conflict?

This is, The Age of Transparency

>Choose a name and become a God, and roll 1d100 to speak the WORD and make things happen.
>Anonymous players form a Choir to praise or scorn the works of these Gods as they see fit.
>Every god must list their primary domains(max 3) and gets to assign 30 points between them to be used as a bonus for rolls related to these domains.
>They additionally get 5 points per subdomain of these primaries to assign to their subdomains as they see fit.
>Any divine actions made (creation, destruction, etc...) that's entirely unrelated to the gods' chosen domains receive a penalty of 20 to all rolls.
>Each god additionally has a "Mantle of Power", a title that reflects their true divine self and a single thing that only THEY can do.

And don't forget to roll a d100 when choosing your god and domain, to determine your initial divine power!

>Ere the two suns rise, and shine light upon the young universe!

Glad to see it's up, even if it's this late in the day.

Might wait for a couple more gods to show up before I do anything though
>>
>>112812
>mfw you started it the moment I got on to check
>mfw I remembered
I see you implemented the rules of the last universe. Nice.

Dark emptiness was all encompassing. As I drift through the abyss in the aftermath of the battle, I feel lost. How many eras have passed? Or maybe it's only been moments. It's been long since I was lacking an understanding of time. The battle with the beast from the nether took a heavy toll on me, casting it into the void has left a dark stain on my divine soul, the implications of this are unknown to me. I do not know how I came to return to this place, some voice from the void seemingly guided me back. But I see the universe as I left it, and feel a twinge in my very soul. It's great to be home.

I am perpatus, the eye of time, who's power is 134 and who's mantle is manipulation of the waves of time.

I totally forgot to split my domain boost last thread... whoops... well.. as a god of destruction/war/fighting I think I'll split it 10/10/10 (unless fighting could be counted as a subdomain of war, in which case it would be 15/15/5)

Anyways, I'm gonna be off for about 30 mins and am rolling now for my action when I return.

Mortal quell in fear as the sky alights with my power and might! The display is beautiful with colors never before seen in flame, the explosions come alive with my power of animation and race through the sky! In the flames battles are fought, angelic figures dance and make love, heroes slay beasts! And at the end of the night is the grande finale and it sounds as if the world itself is ending with the sky awash brighter than daylight and mortals are left weeping and half blind.

Happy divine formation anniversary to me!

Hello lads did you miss me

The general tension was horrible. To a season of political and social upheaval was added a strange and brooding apprehension of hideous physical danger; a danger widespread and all-embracing, such a danger as may be imagined only in the most terrible phantasms of the night. I recall that the people went about with pale and worried faces, and whispered warnings and prophecies which no one dared consciously repeat or acknowledge to himself that he had heard. A sense of monstrous guilt was upon the land, and out of the abysses between the stars swept chill currents that made men shiver in dark and lonely places. There was a daemoniac alteration in the sequence of the seasons—the autumn heat lingered fearsomely, and everyone felt that the world and perhaps the universe had passed from the control of known gods or forces to that of gods or forces which were unknown.Screamingly sentient, dumbly delirious, only the gods that were can tell. A sickened, sensitive shadow writhing in hands that are not hands, and whirled blindly past ghastly midnights of rotting creation, corpses of dead worlds with sores that were cities, charnel winds that brush the pallid stars and make them flicker low. Beyond the worlds vague ghosts of monstrous things; half-seen columns of unsanctified temples that rest on nameless rocks beneath space and reach up to dizzy vacua above the spheres of light and darkness. And through this revolting graveyard of the universe the muffled, maddening beating of drums, and thin, monotonous whine of blasphemous flutes from inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond Time; the detestable pounding and piping whereunto dance slowly, awkwardly, and absurdly the gigantic, tenebrous ultimate god—the blind, voiceless, mindless Frog whose soul is Kek.

I wish to see the mortals for myself, witness what has been made in this world.

They've not only survived, they thrived.

The gift of time-sight has spread to all mortal races, and there appears to be a settlement purely made up of my followers, with the portal to my realm directly in the center. My champion broods in meditation.

Although an interesting development. My gift has diluted in the blood of the mortals. It is no longer a guaranteed inheritance, but roughly 50/50. The ones not so gifted serve me in other ways, and tend to the others as they meditate on my truths.

On a side note they seem to like the clock.

The Warrior's journey takes him to a conflicted land of humans, split between twin successors of the throne.
He watches as two grand armies line up in front of a castle, one side defending and the other attacking, as they start their charges against one another, then they stop abruptly as The Warrior appears between them, glorious and resplendent.
Moments turn to minutes as the generals of each army watch the Warrior walk towards the castle, each step cracking the earth in his wake.
The defending general barks out orders for the Warrior to state his name and allegiance, only to be met by a blank stare of blazing fire.
A single knight charges towards him, his lance breaking apart in front of him and his horse rearing back and tossing him off.
There is an uneasy silence as the Warrior raises his spear, then swings it at the castle, reducing it to naught but rubble. The spear splits all in its wake, ground, wall, air, even light, making the first rainbow seen on this world.

The Warrior walks back to the cowed armies, drives his spear into the ground and declares "Your petty disputes are beneath the purpose I, Heroicus, Grand God of War, have in mind for those who worship me!"

Many knights and warriors kneel before the god that has graced them with his presence, and await his decrees.

>>
>>113343
Now that you say that, I'm rather interested in knowing a demigod's thoughts and reactions to the acts of a god.

>>113351
the general rule is 1d(your power) + (domains if applicable)
>>
>>113357
the last thread, it should show you rulings on the fleshed out rules there and such.
It's only 900+ posts.
>>
I understand that, that's what I've been doing. But how could I be sure if a roll worked or not?
>>
Rolled 69 (1d86)

>>113359
Then re-roll with 86
>>
>>113351
You rolled 86 for your powerlevel in that first roll, a good one for sure. So you roll a d86 and add 30 when making stuff with your domain (light) and +5 when doing stuff with your subdomain.
>>113359
Domain and subdomain bonuses don't stack right? Just use the highest?
>>
>>113379
As it is shown in the last thread, the general rule is "under 10% of your max roll is failure (4 or less for you), anything above is varying degrees of success (we are gods after all) and over 90% of your max roll is crit-success (or about 44 and above for you)"
If you roll your maximum amount on a dice, you get to increase your power by 1.

>>113399
You don't add together different bonuses. Only the highest counts, which rewards smart usages of your domains.
The subdomain bonuses are so that you can ignore the "-20 to everything not your domain" for things that don't count as your domain, but technically count for your subdomain.
>>
>>113370
>only 900+ posts
Most of them were seduction rolls iirc
>>113357
Do actions in your domain, and try to be as fair as possible. An ice God can not create a furnace, and a destruction God can not create a planet.

Also re-rolls are generally not allowed, as it defeats the purpose of rolling in the first place.
And the guiding tenet of what's okay and what isn't
>don't be an ass
>>
>>113379
With the bottom 10% of your dice pool is failure, max roll is a critical success and increases your powerlevel 1. Otherwise it's just how impressively or elgent or ect. you do it
>>
This game is perplexing, where is the "game" part of it?
>>
>>113439
It's really not that difficult if you were here when the rules were established. It's just a lot to take in at once
>>

Now then, continuing.

As the last warrior knelt before the God of War, he raised his spear once more.
"Rise and be reborn. Rise, my warriors, my Angels of Blood. You shall be the driving force of every war. You shall know little but bloodthirst and carnage. You will be my will upon the world. Each time you die, you shall be reborn in my halls only to resume your crusade!"
And as they rose up, their bodies changing and their armours with them. No longer were these mere mortal men, but each one was now a mountain of muscle and bone, immortal warriors clad not in shining armor, but red as blood.

Whats the result? Whats the point?

Its just more freeform that I'm used to but I'm interested
>>
I shall name my follower Wil.
>>
>>113500
It's pretty open ended, most of the "game" is about taking actions that influence or change the universe/setting. It's largely writing-based and mostly for creativeness and fun reading.
>>
>>113500
To shape the universe of course. It gets interesting when gods clash or strange rolls happen.
The game is better with more active players, as it is.
>>
>>113500
if you're wondering about the result, then it's simple. This is basically worldbuilding from the perspective of the gods of the world.
In the end we'll have a large, intricate world/setting (which one can use for whatever) and (mostly) everyone can enjoy the process.
>>
Rolled 36 + 20 (1d46 + 20)

Now then, staggered as I am by the gift, I cut my journey of the mortal worlds short and return to my citadel on the pole, albeit permit Seara >>113343 , Ignatum's demigod, to follow me if she wishes.

It is a strange thing to sit down and discuss the actual free will of another. What a mortal wishes and wants for themselves, so different than a God who does not wish but instead makes and does not want they merely take. She is starting to understand, but how different it must be for her so far above mortals yet so distant below a true God. The question looms and swirls, loyalty burns fiercely. Never as a god have I so furtively wished for foresight and knowledge of what is to come.

She goes then to the great frozen citadel, her burning human form leaving a path of minuscule footprints melted into the ice halls carved for giants and coming upon the doors to that great hall she knocks and waits as any mortal should wait for the fleeting attention of a god.

The grand doors open slowly on their own, revealing the grand chamber within. An icy table larger than castles surrounded by five frozen Thrones that could only be for gods. The first carved with great depictions of war and conquer, the second of waves and marine life, the third is a ruined and broken mess of ice, and the fourth depicts patterns of snowflakes and a story of two lovers separated by events out of their control.
Beyond these four sits the grandest throne, glowing with an inner flame it sits as testament to the ruler of this court of gods, with winding sigils and runes of an old world, a lost world, and the owner of this throne sits upon it.
The Warlord of the gods, Vanquisher of Foes and Protector of Creation.
His divine glory could not be described in mortal terms, for seeing him in all his splendour would overwhelm any mortal. Thankfully the Ruby Lady hadn't been a mortal for some time.

In his hands he held a strand of sunlight larger than the demigod that stood before him.

"And what is your decision?" His booming voice echoes across the empty chamber, anticipation lingering in the air.

I raise my arm of divine holy fire and ash, then sever it. 20 points of my divine being falls loose to form a second version of my flaming being and heads for the star of Domina.

The mortal woman only glances at the elder God before her keeping her eyes downcast. She gives only a small smile, "I am told it is a great gift from two Elder... Primordial Gods. My lord is fearful what it might wrought through me, to me, but he is curious what I might grow to be. He is kind and says I am not to consider his wants. So this is easy. I do not fear death for I died for my lord once already; I do not fear the breaking of this body of warm Crystal for my soul is holy flame;-"

Now the mortal woman looks up boldly from her lowly place on the floor of a room built for gods to stare into the eyes of a primordial being "- I don't even fear Destruction for I have been one with my lord and that moment is eternal. So my elder, if you would share something so beyond understanding with one that was once mortal I am ready and unafraid, however I do ask that the flame on the torch you offered..."

Her eyes fall away once again her boldness fading, "I... ask that the flame be a pure flame... one of destruction and not war for I was once a mortal and while all mortals must die and sacrifice for the gods... I... I am sorry my elder..." As small mortal things often do she had lost her reason and sense to explain what will and feeling drove her to obey. (damn, since I'm not asleep I might as well type this down before I actually do go to sleep)

The divine power of the Warrior flows into the Ruby Lady, and with a swift downwards motion of his hand her torso and thighs explode in a shower of gems, her limbs staying in the air as the shards are suspended as well.
He draws the strand over her, ignoring whatever sounds or noises the demigod makes as he tears the strand apart and weaves it over her, forming a radiant face over her crystalline head and clothing her limbs in the shimmering skin.
At the core of her being he draws together her inner flame, and through Ignatum's, and apparently Dasus's, assistance stokes it before he weaves the rest of the strand into a divine new torso.

Then comes the most brilliant part. he grasps some of the ruby shards and grinds into dust, which he then forms new hair for her out of.
The larger shards remaining he then forms into a shimmering new attire for her, a dress formed out of her former self.

Now, he wouldn't truly be a divine Warlord if he didn't take the largest shard and cut it into a dagger, a dagger made of a single solid ruby.

Finally pleased with his work he sets her down on the grand table and examines the empowered demigod, or is she a godling now? No matter, the final result passes his inspection and the Lord of Destruction climbs up to his throne once more.

By offering his hand, Ignaturm accepted the risks of an interaction such as a dance, through which overtime and in our closeness, his divinity was pared from his soul living. Like attempting a hug and pulling away without your skin, or offering a handshake and losing an arm, or even seeking a kiss and losing your face.

By feelings awakened within me though, as much as I may desire it, I cannot bring myself to consume him and so let him go when the harm becomes unbearable. He leaves the exchange with his divinity and soul intact, while I am left with that portion of his divinity which rubbed off onto me, and something else. If only for a moment I am left wondering what could have been, before my nature reminds me of its weight and I resort to consuming the divine essence left behind by the bold god.

Divine in nature, the severed essence survives the crucible of my womb wherein it gestates and is sustained and nurtured by my body. Eventually I birth into being a false star, and yet one as of yet without equal in the universe; a pulsar.

Colored red like the bold god from whence it spawned, the small neutron star cannot compare to the proper stars in size. It makes up for its shortcomings though, by sheer intensity and fearsome power. Truly, there is not a more destructive force in the universe, capable of rending planets, stars and perhaps even gods in twain at interstellar distances with cataclysmic brilliance.

>Roll to give some power to the new star

How are you doing this? Are you actually approaching me while I am nursing my child?
>>
>>114798
My champion has been ascended to near godhood. Yet he is lacking something. If you would gift him one of your divine weapons, so that he may be a further boon to me, then I would allow you two things:
First, I would advise your council on matters which could use my help
Second, my champion would stand with your council when our causes do not clash.
I will not a formal council seat, for I wish to remain neutral, but I would provide both these services at your whim for but a single weapon of godly proportion.

What say you?

I desire only two things my lord, a weapon that I may use to reap a harvest of conquests

And from her... That little mortal thing that is a part of me I, A GOD, find strength in HER. For in that moment that I tear my focus from a piece of me burning into Domina attempting to pull all of me with it and there she is shattered as a strand of Domina burns into her threatening to consume all that she is from the inside. Her eyes and mine meet through impossible divine cosmos and we are united in the most exquisite burning from beyond even this existence. Such a bold little mortal reflecting the threat of mortality for even the divine and giving me will to exist for long enough for the Star Mother to release me while she took from me the faith not let true divinity to shatter her mind. If not for a glance we may have both been destroyed, if not for the perfect timing of each of us brushing that unfathomable power at once... A strand of starlight stretching and crossing at once through Mortal to God to the Primordial Being it came from, is there always such prophecy when stars align?

But it was just a moment and the moment passes, Seara is safe and newly created on the table of a God of Destruction and I am able to 'breathe' again my dance with Domina done though I no longer think to call her mother for she is not that to me. And a part of me longs to dance with her again.

The beautiful new star flickers in sweeping flashes of power, and I stare at it in wonder. It is amazing, this universe all of it is so spectacular, I have a new appreciation for existence. For the first time since my awaking as divine, I close my eyes and sleep.

Hopefully he'll find a suitable place for it in the cosmos that it may shine true and withhold at least most of the destruction it would wrought. Greeting to all the new gods that have spawned. I am Zel'noctur god of death and darkness, one charged with the duty of guarding the end times and protecting the dead's spirit into my realm where they will be forever safe in eternal darkness.
I am the wilder of the Scythe of Eternal Darkness(also know as lifehunt). I welcome you all into this wierd new age of strife and conflict as 3 gods of war in only one reality can never be fun times for the mortals. I await the stories of the brave heroes that valiantly stand either beside you or against you, but inevitably end into my domain when the final blow is struck.
Also i would like you to meet my faithfull servents the darkstalkers. Powerfull worriers bathed in death and darkness that stalk the shadows for those who dare defy death and for those who dare defy gods will. They are the tool of punnishment and slayers of minor abominations. (idea inspired by ds dark wraiths yeah i know im boring.)

>mirror lore
In the most inner quarters of the Death Dods castle lies a peculiar artifact. Not even the gods themselves know what it is for it was not forged by the WORD of any god but was pulled into reality by the Zel'noctur from a world beyond. Although most of the times looks like a normal mirros it radiates thin lines of queer essences that each god can relate to. The glass of the mirror itsself is perfectly refelctive but leaves a darkened tint on all its refelctions. The frame is engraved with untranslatable symbols and pictures of unimaginable monstrosities, but the most eye catching detail is the two unidentifiable violet gems at the top corners of the mirror making all those who stare into the mirror feel an unsettling feeling of being watched back by the two purple glowing eyes.
Mere mortals would lose their sanity just glancing at the mirrors and even gods need a strong will to be able to withstand the gaze.
It is said that the God of Death uses the mirrors to keep watch over the events of end times that constalty show into the mirror but some say that not only visions of end can be seen in the mirrors. Some say that the mirror is not just a reflection of end times but a window into the realm of origin a window that may actually be the eyes of an unspeakable horror that watches silently every move that is in that world. And it is not alone for many times if looked carfull in the mirror wierd forms that stand out in the darkness can be seen and they seem to be very lively indeed.

A single weapon.... there are very few things that I brought with me from the old world that fit mortals, the only one I'm not using myself being the Sword of War.
Now, I must warn you Perpatus, the blade was forged by the god-smith Tutarr, and although it would even be a fitting weapon for gods, it has a figurative double-edge like most his creations.

>>114836
You are in luck, for I recovered my favourite weapon not long ago.
I gift to you, for your diligence, the Spear of Conquer and War. A weapon crafted of only the most volatile asteroids of the old world, tipped with one of the strongest diamonds.
It was forged in the Flame of War and grows stronger with it.

>>115355
I thought you would appreciate my proactive stance on reducing your workload for you permanently.
And you may copy the histories of the old gods at your leisure, most of them aren't around to complain about that.

>>115430
Well if his echoes would stop being so melodramatic i could lend his power i took back from the beast and maybe haste his recovery. (although as i came to know him i bet he is basicly going to open more portals to let more beasts in just cause his portal opening skills are so terrible).
>>115447
Well you are in no way reducing my work load by killing them en mass but you are reducing the time i have to work as they come in faster.
Although i dont mind having a few wars as stories of heroism are only born in strife.
Speaking of heroism i still need a way to gather the remains of Chosen from mother.

I realized, we need something like a divine blacksmith or crafter, who can make amazing weapons, trinkets, jewelry and all sorts of items of power or supreme craftsmanship. Then just leave them lying around or hand them out like candy, to cause endless bitter struggle, strife and jealousy among the gods over said items, leading to misery and suffering for the setting overall.

We don't have an Eris' golden apple, or a ring of the Nibelung.

>The universe seems to be filled with those who want to conquer, subjugate and destroy.

>A culture of hate and destruction only breeds more hate and destruction.

>Or at least that's what people like to think.

>As with all cultures that take prevalence, there is a counter-culture to this precedence of conquest and destruction.

>The people of an industrially advanced planet cried out in outraged unison when a crime syndicate enforcer defied his masters orders to break a man known in the community to be generous and kind, and was punished for it by being mutilated and executed in front of a crowd of like-minded people.

>This singular display of defiance and resistance to oppression created a shock-wave in the universe of similar occurrences of public dissent and rebellion against the powers that be.

The traditional way is you or an avatar of you reproduce with a mortal. The resultant demigod(s) you can then control sort of like a lesser or NPC character you control, as in you still play as your godly self but as well as your usual actions, as a separate part of your post you can also outline what your demigod(s) do. Alternatively and something else that has been done in the past, is if you want you can give a lot of focus and importance to a demigod by actually playing as them. Good sense dictates that during this time you stop playing as your godly self, but it's been done before with players alternating between the two.

Of course there's nothing saying you have to do it that way, and demigod in this case also doesn't have to mean half-god half-mortal. It could just as easily be a divine creation or construct, an exalted soul (like Ignatum's Ruby, if I understand her corractly) or just a mortal who exalted, or whatever else have you.
>>
>>115496
Oh also, for power on demigods at least is the standard d100, divided by 2, basically their half-god side. Maybe something similar with things like divine constructs and whatnot, but we never really did stuff with things like that in the previous universe, just standard demigods.

>>115501
I am not a god created by the universes nature to die of entropy or mans tendencies to destroy and conquer, I am the will of the oppressed, created and empowered by the idea of the man who wont back down in the face of great adversity and who is fueled by enough righteous rage and just plain grit to just get back up whenever he is knocked down.

It is good that I start down initially weak, because it has never been the case when rebellion starts out as a popular concept. This is because all the weak willed of the universe can't imagine a world where they can think for themselves and would rather stick with the status quo of slavery and oppression because they have never known anything else.

Whatever I lack in power now i will more than make up for in persistence later, the gods of the universe that is cannot imagine the deep and hidden fury of those who have been abused and outcast by their reckless power-mongering.

Whenever I get knocked down, I will just come back more pissed.

I guess it might help to try to quantify this for the rules. This is a tentative idea so feel free to add to or comment on.

>Avatar - A physical representation of your god, if you don't already or don't normally have a physical form. Usually the purpose of this is to interact with mortals or the material plane in general. Powerlevel is functionally the same, though you can be affected physically, so whereas a mortal might not be able to affect your divine form they can totally run up and stab your avatar or imprison it or something like that.
>Divine Creation - Some sort of creation that is usually specific to you as a god, and your domain. The most common form of this, though not the only, would be a divine servant. Imagine something like an angel, or a demon. These are largely personal to each god. Powerlevel cannot exceed 1/10 of your own power.
>Divine Construct - Some sort of construct created by divine means, ideally related to your domain but not necessarily, and you can have the help of other gods in creating something like this. These are usually not living, such as an elemental or a divinely animated giant totem or statue. Powerlevel is rolled for but added onto overtime to represent construction process, a single god can only contribute up to 50 points to power however, though as said more than one god can work and contribute.
>Divine Aspect - This is a little more esoteric and rooted in mythology, but essentially something found normally in the setting, which also represents you and in this case, is a divine example of one such thing. For example, even though you may be a god of fire, you are sometimes represented by or associated with a swan, so in this case it would be a single divinely empowered swan. It can be anything such as an animal, a plant, an object, etc... but this would be a divine individual of one that serves as something of a symbolic representation of you, and can be other things like a messenger, pet, or even guardian. Powerlevel is 1/2 of power that you have gained beyond your starting value.

While the gods were battling the cosmic horros from beyond certain mortal happen to take a glance at the events. He was one of the few lucky (or unlucky) to see the valiant desplay of power against the horific beast but a glace at it alone was enough to run people mad. But for that mortal didn t lose his sanity for he lacked it from the start. He was a deranged killer on the run from guards of a lord nearby for henious murders that he commited. Even as he escaped his action led to more bodies appearing for he killed numerous guards in his break away. What was most peculiar though for him was his unhealthy addiction for human blood. Splashing and drinking every ounce from his victims.
As his tired body collapsed on the ground and noticed the great fight that the gods were having he was mesmirised by on in particular. The God of Death wilder of the Scythe of Eternal Darkness that right in that moment dealt a powerfull blow to the mosnters mass. The most interesting thing for him was not the gut so perfectly made but the aftermath the instant devoidance of life from the wound the souls sucked by the Scythe. For that power, to be able to drain the very life of a victim was his ultimate fantesy. Unknow to him the battle was going to affect him as much as iti did the gods.
As he watched the dance of cosmic horror coming to an end with the gods emerging victorious, the god of death came down towrds the planet to rest his form. There he noticed the human lying tired and on the verge of death (by exhaustion). Although the god knew that his time was not up a peculiar grin came to his face. He spoke to the mortal:
-I see you there ridden by pain and tiredness. Although your time is not up i can offer you a quick end. After all the darkness is ever acceptant and ever protecting even to the most tiwsted of souls.
The mortal remained shocked as a being of such greatness decided to talk to a mortal and one not dead at that.
-You looked stunned.... but not afraid. I know your doing from the souls you keep sending to me. You are indeed a horrible one but i can not interfere as much as i would like to.
-My.... my God... i offer you my servitute and anything you may want, I will do your every biding and i will sacrifice whoever and whatever to you just so i can obtain something as wonderfull as your life draining Scythe. Please accept m-...
-Do you really think that i need a pathetic litthe rat as you to be a servent of death? You understand nothing of Life and its wonders and you only live for your self! But... death would be to little of a punishment for you as the darkness is a loving embrace of safety. You dont deserve that. I curse you with Deathless rest. You may never walk into my realm no matter how much your body is broken. and no matter how much you beg and kill in my name. You are a despicable human and i hope that whatever comes after this wolrd ends will give you the punishment you deserve.

Cont.

>Demigod - The offspring of a god and a non-god, most often but not always a mortal. This is the result of when a god goes among the material plane and mingles and mixes with it, leaving traces of themself and their essence behind. Because of their divine nature, demigods tend to rise to the top and/or dominate mortal power structures and society. It's worth noting that demigods like everything else on this list can be directly controlled, but a difference being that they can also be played as, either by the parent god or if some other player wants to play a demigod of said god's lineage. Powerlevel is the standard d100 to start, divided by 2, and like gods power can be increased overtime. *An extra note that the non-god parent doesn't have to be humanoid, there can totally be a demigod cow or tree for example. It could even be something non-living like an undead or even a rock, the key factor is a god mixing their essence with something of the material plane.
>Godborn - The rarest of all, actual divinely conceived and born offspring, the godly children of gods. Anything can happen with this, but perhaps a suggested course of action, that the divinity of the children is a mix of the parents, or that they take after one rather than the other(s). Either way though this is just a possibility, really anything goes when gods go as far as reproducing with each other. Like demigods, godborn can be played as by the parents or if some player wants to try it, though unlike demigods, godborn cannot be directly controlled. Meaning, unlike everything else on this list, a god can't play themself and then in their posts also include a separate portion or little included blurbs about what the godborn child(ren) do. Powerlevel is the added result of the godly parents rolling the standard d100.

But as he casted the curse something odd happened. The god of death felt as the Scythe vibrated with alien powers. He knew that it was to early to manifest his power after such a prolonged combat with a beast that corrupts so deeply.
It was too late though the curse was morphed and the murdere became a Souless one. A being that had its thirst for human lives morphed to devour anything. Hastly the god of death fled to his real for fear that the twisted powers that the scythe reaped were going to do more harm than good.
The murderer never felt that good in ages. As he consumed his own soul the extasy was intoxicating. But it was short lasted for his soul was not enough. His hunger was absolute. But he also knew that sacrifices were always plenty. In the hill top a powerfull man yelled at the now souless killer.
-I THE NAME OF LORD BOL YOU ARE UNDER ARREST FOR MURDER OF 20 INNOCENT SOULS.
-Hah, muttered the killed, that was no souls take. I will show you what a real murder of a souls is!
He lunged at the entire army moving with unparaleld strenght and speed and reaping and sapping life from every single one of the soldiers leaving them a darkened body with nothing left in it. As they fell 1 by 1 only the captain remained to fight the abomination
-You? What kind of monster are you?
-One that hungers for souls! And with one swift movement he grabbed his face and sucked him dry.
His rampages were never ending attacking village after village of the lords castle until there was nothing but the castle itself left. As he marched towards the castle the lord called desperetly for help to all the gods that could stop the impending demise. One answered a bit to quickly to his call.
-I will help you with the creater. I will ennect abarrier over your kingdom so that the beast may never harm anyone.
And so he did but unknow to all the god was still under the influence of the energy of the horror from beyond. In an attempt to stop his first creation from destroying the entire world he decided (in a dash of insanity and fear) to scrifice the castle so that the beast would be contained until another solution could be devised. And so the barrier was rissen and the lord retreated back to his keep. But the bliss was short lasted for one of his servents came screaming and shivvering and told the lord that the souless one entered the barrier without even flynching and that he was attacking everything that looked alive. The lord cursed the god of death for his lie and mustered every single one of his guard in a last attepmt to save his citizens. As long as the fight lasted the murderer was victorious and unschaved. But as he tryed to leave the now deserted castle he was shocked when an invisible wall barred his exit. He was now traped inside his own masacre location.

Centuries passed and the castle started crumbling under the passing of time. The castle was know only in legends as the home of a soulsucking being though most people treated as just a fable. Most but not all. A few of the survivors of the long destroyed kingdom carried the story in their families and many of thier sons and daughters vowed to end the beasts life. A miriad of succesors died in the accursed place(from brave warriors to inteligent mages to even a few druid of the land that came from the bloodline of the fallen ones) some failing horribly while others maniging to hurt the killer temporarly. But one day a young lady had an encounter with fate itsself that would lead to the downfall of both men and monsters.
She was a beautifull girl of age no older than 22 with long black hair white skin and eyes of a peculiar collor of blue almost silvery in appearence. Though she was delicate she was also firm and didnt fear to work with her father at the local graveyard where he was the undertaker. at a young age she was aquaitened with death as she saw bodies in many shapes and size from battered to almost alive. She was not fearfull of death and was always happy when one would be lowered into the gold dark ground as she believed that the darkness was not frightening but protecting and that death is the best certanty of life. She to was of the Bol blood line but her father never wanted to awknoledge that as he knew the story and was afraid to let her daughter go try destiny with the impossible task. She however hated the story as she couldn t concieve a being such henious to not allow a person the rest that death offered.
She was also interested in the games of boys with swords and shields. Most of the times she would innocently asked them to duel her with their small wooden swords. most of the boys laughed at her at first thinking that she had no way to win at such a game. But she was not an easy player. She was ntarualy tallented in the art of combat even though she had no training and would always defeat them without even trying. One day she was chalenged by a big hunk of a child the largest in her village to fight. She has beat him before and he was only strong and laked any skill and finess. Knowing that the boy was not going to be a hard fight she set a challenge for her self. She would only use the broken wooden swords that she found on the ground. Regardless she beat him easily even with a shortened broken sword. This though attracted the sights of a passer by. He was a legendary traveling swordsman that never loved his fame and would always stay hidden when he travvled. He was intrigued almost to the point of shock to see such tallent in a child so young. so he decided to ask her:
-Little girl, who tought you to fight like that? You know it is not fair to pick on people with no training in the art of sword fights you know?
-I.... , looking half scared, I wasn t taughted by anyone.

It's because you were a loser who chose a concept as a Domain. Concept Gods always just faff around and do nothing, it's the physical Gods, like Frost, Fire, Stars, and other great stuff, that get shit done in this Universe.

-lying is not something a good swordsman does.
-But i am not lying sir. My father is an undertaker and my mother a seamtress. I have never even seen a real sword.
This intrigued the swordsman even more.
-Hmmm, say would you like to learn to use a real sword? You are awfully tallented and it would be a shame to let it waste. I can teach you thing or two about the sword.
The girl was confused but happy. She was eager to learn to use a real sword not just a a toy one. But just as she was about to take his offer the old gravedigger showed up to bring her daughter back for dinner.
- You!!! What are you doing here? I told you i am not interested, yelled the clearly concerned father at the hooded figure.
-Long time no see Thomhar. What brings you to this village?
-What brings me here? I live here! I settled here after father left..., he lowered his voice, left for that acursed place. I don t care to hear about your stories Valnhir. You know i abbandoned that life long ago.
-I sadly i do. We were really good you know? Although my name is still widly spread among other places i still hear the story of the 2 brothers that took down the menacing beasts from the beyond. We really did a number back there.
-What beasts? asked the girl with big curious eyes.
-Oh the great beasts M Ztha and Vrs'chesh 4 legged creatures that hunted in the dark and had magical powers never s-
-Dont ever talk about that to my duaghter Valnhir. She doesnt need to know! intrerupted the father.
-Ah now it makes sense. This girl is your daughter. Fine child you have grown Thomhar. I was wondering where did she inherited her sword skill.
-She has no tallent for that. Dont bother with her. The boys here have no idea what they are doing they are dumb as bricks. She can t learn anything with the sword.
Thomhar pulled closer to his brother:
-Dont drag her in the familly buisness. I am tired to see many of us die for a stupid ancestry. Leave her alone brother.
But it was too late. The spirit of the bloodline awoke in the girls heart. Almost bitter the girl asked her father:
-So it is true than? A being so foul and so evil exists in this world. A being that takes the peace of rest from others to satisfy its unnending hunger? I can not allow that to happen. I want to become strong and to slay that beast once and for all. I can do it. I will do it!
- No my child! you wont do that. None of us could and niether will you. It is a fools quest made up by idiots who have nothing better than to cling to an "past" that is never coming back. I wont allow you!
- Then i will run away. I will train with Valnhir and i will be better than him! And i will kill the monster and-
- NO! Go back to your room! And never speak to this man again!
And hastly the father took the daughters hand and took her home. He locked the doors and made sure no one could come in.

The mother quitly took notice of her mans anger and panic and didnt dare to intervene knowing exactly why he was acting like that. They sat at the table and ate their lunch. After the first course the duaghter asked her father:
-Why didnt you invite that man to eat with us? He seemed to be a friend and i liked him.
Thomhar looked at her daughter with sad eyes:
-He was dangerous for your my child.
-why? he didnt seem like a bad man.
-a bad man? hah. If the gods were ever to judge me against him they would hang me 3 times. He was... is one of the greatest man i have ever known. If it wasnt for our past i would have not even the slightest fear to let you talk to him. But i can t do it like this.
Silence for a bit.
-So is he right? You were more than just a gravedigger?
-...... aye. I can t really hite it from you now can i? Even if i would lie you would still know. I was something else before. We were.
- So is it true that you are as skilled as Valhnir?
-Ha. As skilled? I think both of us knew who was better. But i lacked something he didnt. I lacked conviction and determination. I doubted my self so many times but that many times he lifted my spirits and convinced me. I would ahve died a long time ago. if it wasnt for him.
Silance came again.
-So? will you let me train with-
-NO! that is my final answer. The world is to dangerous to be prancing around with a sword all day. I am not willing to lose my only child to a stupid legacy. Listen to what your father says, Dialara for i have seen things no man should ever see.
But Valhnir was not the only one to have such a strong sense of conviction. Dialara was set to her path and nothing not even her father could stop her. At night after her family went to sleep she swiftly wrote a letter of goodbyes and run into the world.
She went to the local tavern where Valhnir was likely to be in order to make him train her.

Insert scene about valnhir trying to be good to his bro and not take the girl into training. Insert uber determined girl rant that she wont stop even if valnhir doesnt take her.
She trains her.
Basicly she learned fast to fight with the sword although she didnt like using a shield as she enjoyed mobility.
She used a straight sword most of her training.
valhnir himself was a preaty agile warrior and had a lot of trick up his sleeve.
She quickly became capable of beating him in practice duels where valnhir didnt give 100%.
they journeyd through the lands and beat the shit out of bandits, raiders even small beasts. She was really strong and skilled.
Insert old Thomhar in armor and looking for his daughter cuase he loves her too much.
Insert useless sacrifice of Thomhar to fight the souless wraith in an attempt to spare the daughter of the daunting quest. Insert valnhir crying like a bitch when the Thomhar dies. Insert dubious run away so that the daughter is spared from the horrible sight (she doesnt buy it though)
Insert a bit more questing, a drunk night of valnhir who was depressed that his bro is dead and rant about that to Dialara.
Insert her running away (again) to take revenge.
This is the tl dr to the final event.

As she approched the castle of the old lord Bol she felt a shiver down her spine. Was it fear? She couldnt tell but the lack of life in expresed by the castle and the surounding area was not helping. She stood for a second or too in front of the barrier and after a quick breath of air and brave thought she went in.
The land was gray and lacked any sign that life exists in it. The trees were hollow and there was not a single sound except for a eery wind.
She marched cauttiosly watching every dead leaf every window and every door. She felt that she was watched but didnt know from where. Suddenly a shadow flew towards her. With a quick step and swift move of her sword she hit the assailant. It screeched of pain but landed a few feet from her.
-Strange not many manage to dodge me when i come from that angle. I will have a lot of fun with you.
The figured turned and under the gastly robes was a face almost human but devoid of light and soul with dried skin and bone face complexion. It stared at Dialara for a second than charged at her with incredible speed. Dialara was prepaired though she gracefully dodged again and stroke the back of the beast. This time it didnt shriek it didnt even seem affected. It quickly did 180 and jumped at the sword mistress but was met only by the sharp end of the sword.
-You may be fast but you lack any finess and your attacks are so previsible. How did you manage to bring down so many skilled heroes?
-You have no idea what you are facing.
All of the sudden the beast emmanated dark energy from itself and bolts of soul missles flew towrds the women. Dialara was not surprised though she has fought mages before and won. She dodged the missles and raised her sword to strike at the monster but.... the monster dissapeared instantly. Just as she gained her guard the killer knocked her down with a blow from he own shadow. She tryed to defend herself but the wraith used its powers to trap the warrior s hands.
-I told you. I was just toying with you. You are skilled indeed but no amount of skill can stop me! You are nothing comapred to others that truly managed to hurt me. Now to feast on your soul.
The wraith laid its face close to her but just as it started to take the soul. A mighty blow struck the head of the wraith. It was Valnhir who came in to aid Dialara.
-Oh, remakred the monster, if it isnt the great swordsman Valnhir. I saw you once glancing at my doamain. To afraid to dare chalenge me? Well there is no going back now is it?
And that are the last words that Dialana remembered before passing out from the shock of the soul.

Although she was out cold, she was not gone. Her mind tryed to dream but nothing remained but a dark void. Thinking that it was the darkness of death coming to take her she calmed her self down and whispered an ancient praier that not even she knew where it came from.
But the praire was not left on deaf ears. Zel'noctur the god of death appeared before her.
-So this is the work of destiny. It sent me one of my latent follower to resolve this. Fear not my child for i have come to help you. This souless creature has overstayed its due and its time for the things that are mine to return to me. I offer you a sword that will truly slay that which has no soul bound to this world by magic beyond. But be weary for the energies that spawned this beast still reside in it. Guard your mind your body and your soul or else the same fate will fall upon you as it fell on that thing. Here take Death's Touch, Sword of the Soul. Use it to strike down the monster and bring glory to my domain.
She didnt even have time to ask a question when a iritating light woke her up. She was awake again. Was it just a dream? she asked her self but upon inspecting her belt she noticed something. She noticed another seath. And in it a sword that clinged towards here. It was Death s Touch. Quickly she scrambled her self remembering that Valnhir was fighting the monster. She runned through the village searching for any sign of battle. But she was too late. at the end of the road layed the mumified corpse of Valnhir sword broken shield shatered and without sign that life even existed in him. she tryed to cry but the wraith talked:
-He was a fool. But a valiant fool. I think i will have some fun with you though. Find me in my castle if you dare and we shall end this.
She had no words only anger revenge and a wierd feeling of wrong. She never felt that when she was helping her father at the graves. But now seeing the souless body of the warrior made her sick. Nontheless she ignored that feeling and run off to catch the killer at his castle.
As she arrived at the castle she noticed that the entrance was opened and that there were no corpses. Wierd for a castle that was take out so quickly. She would sonn find out why.
-Ah you came. Good i was afraid you would try to run away. Well so few have ever came this far so i will let you play with something (or should i say things). Minions raise and entertain your master.
Suddenly it was clear why there was nothing at the gate the wraith reanimated the corpses using slivers of the fallen souls to be his personal army.
-At first i devoured souls fully you know? That brought so much pleasure to me but I noticed something when one of the mages here with a stragely powerfull essence refused to be eaten in one go i thought, what would happen if i let a bit in it? And guess what? he turned into a puppet a puppet i can use! So i started leaving bits and pieces of souls into all of my victims. And now i have this. An undead army!

You go there, sign up, and then create a new paste. Copy-paste your story there, you can add all the related ones together, or do em chaper-by-chapter, and title them appropriatly. Then you just link your pastebin (it will be http://pastebin.com/username, usually) and we will see all your work in one place. Better yet, when you make a new story, just upload to pastebin and link it here again, with a "new story up, guys! This time it's about Frakt!" post along with it.

>its about frakt!

(to be fair i dont really want to write stories about god as i need their aproval in a way to modifie thier actions. I did mention some in my other stories but only doing small things like giving a slightly magical spear nothing to grand or roll worthy. or by making mortals their followers things that dont affect thier ideas or by mentioning their creation. Also as i listen to the stories of dead mortals i cant really make stories about gods. Maybe only demigods but even that is a longstretch as most demigods have thier story already posted by their creators)

-Throw at me as many of your puppets as you want monster. I will stomp them all.
And stomp them she did. Using the sacred sword she hacked left and right at the servants of the wraith. And unknowed to her the sword rewarded her with the slivers of power take from the husks killed. Finaly she reached the wraith and yelled:
-Your time is up demon! I am ending you and releasing those poor innocents from their bonds. The souls must be returned to the darkness for them to know peace.
-You fell for the sweet words of that fool of a god didnt you? I would say the same but i am quite happy with the results. Imortal souls sucking panthon with incredible power. Yes i am quite happy. But i must say i could use your body in my army. So lets being!
The wraith instantly dashed at the warrior but not as recklesly, as it knew that the sword was something not to be trifled with. They fought fiercly on top of the keep Dialara defending her self from the fury of the wraiths assalt. She bided her time and with 1 swift blow the wraith was left hurting. The wound was different with a bluish tint that seemed to be draining power. The wraiths face was equally as disturbed as it for once felt true pain.changing its tactics the wraith launched an furious assalt of souls missles. At first dialara tryed to dodge them but the count was to high to make it physicly possible. Thinking that parying would at least lower the power of the missle before it hit her she raised her sword to block. Incredibly the sword not only blocked the missle compelatly but it also absorbd it. With this new thing in mind changed her pase from a defensive position to an offensive charge blocking and dodgin what ever was thrown at her. And as the wraith tryed to dodge the inevitable swing at the end . it barly manae to avoid being cut in half. The second wound was deeper and more painfull than the first. It shrieked:
-What manner of weapon is that?
-A weapon to free every single one of the souls you devouered.
But before she could attack again the wraith dissapeared. With a smug smile Dialara said:
-You know the same trick deosnt work twice in a row. And as she said that she immediatly stbed her own shadow throwing the wraith out. but the wraith wasnt mad isntead it flashed a smile and said.
-The same trick always works twice in a row.
Out of nowhere a flurry of dark spikes erupted from the shadow and pierced the comabtant. She attempted to dodge but she got impaled in one of her arms her right lung and her left leg pleeding profously from all 3 wounds.
-I must admit you are the first that didnt get killed by my soul drain. and you are the first to leave so hard blows on me. But now its game over and its time i get my self a new servent.
Dialara was dissy from all the blood loss but she knew that passing out was worse than any pain suffered. She mustered all her strenght for one final blow. She waited the wraith to get close to her so he can start draining her.

-I... t-told you.... you .. are... weak! N-now.... NOW DIE!
She twisted the sword into its heart and watched as his body under the rags started to illuminate. A stream of white sprites exited the wraiths body noudoublty souls of every single denizen that fell victim to the soulless one. And after that something started dripping from the wound. Blood. Black chunky blood but blood nontheless. Apparently the wraith got its soul back as well and its body returned to normal. It was now dying.
-Gha... So this... is what dying feels like. Heh ... glorious .... indeaaa.....!
As the corpse came of the murderer came down something else exited it. A dark energy that was neither human nor godly. The energy started to head twords Dialara. It touched her but... before all of it could get in. A dark figgure carrying a scythe quickly cut the strand. It was the God of Death himself.
-To late i always come to late. I shouldn t have let this happen. I was fast to act and let the beast from beyond influence. It wasnt strong enough to do much harm but i still did this wrongfully. Now you are tainted by it luckly not even close to what he was but still enough to warp my magic. I can not take you with me in the realm of death for now. But i can help you. The energy appears to have bounded firstly with the blood from your wounds. Soon it will bind to your very soul and attempt to truly consume it. But i can do something to stop that i can allow you to tap into the life essences of others. I know you are a follower of mine even if you never knew about me or my powers so i know you wont use it recklesly and without control. I know you have a good soul and it would be a shame to let it waste. So i will let you take the energy of mortals. You only need a bit to sustain you every day and most wont even feel the difference for long. But by feeding that little slither of darkness with the others you too shall live. Beware though the more you do not tend to this the weaker is your grip on this world and the more likely you are to become like him a soulless ever hungry wraith that drains the energy of others. This is my gift to you. Imortality and lifetap through the blood of other mortals. You are now a Vampire.
And so the god of death bestowed power on her. Instantly her wounds closed and she started to regain her sense again. She was forever changed though. Her beautifull blue eyes changed to a nuance of darkened purple mark of the power of blood and the corruption unspeacable her skin became pale as the poweres of the Death god made her more akin to the dark and he heart though still beating stoped emiting a puls.
(one last fragment where i set her up in this world.)

(can i consider her a demi god? I raised here to that rank giving her powers over other humans soul as well as great prowness overall. Any way we do have vampire lore now)
>>
>>116525
(well, you need to invest any amount of your power into her to make her a demigod)

>>116429
Well hello there Jones. You're missing most of your title there
>>
>>116561
Any demigods need that no?
>>
>>116599
You can invest as little as 1 of your power, but you must invest some measure of your own power in order to make a demigod.
>>
>>116599
I never took a mortal wife, so I do not know the governances around DemiGods, but I imagine some of their divine power needs to have come from SOMEWHERE. Us Gods spawn from The Word, but a demi-god does not have that luxury. As a result, their divine essence must have come from a God.
>>
>>116561
>(well, you need to invest any amount of your power into her to make her a demigod)

Only if he's trying to further empower her. Since creating a demigod the old fashioned way shouldn't require investing power, other ways shouldn't either. Whether she exalts on her own, or he himself exalts her.

At least, imo, otherwise if you think if it mechanically say you try to create a demigod with a mortal and infuse your own essence into the process, it stands to reason that the parent would end up getting that power rather than the offspring.
>>
>>116380
I think none (just finished reading all bread. Bee god where arf thou?)
>>
>>116655
The divine word on the subject trumps whatever understanding I had of it.
Thank you for resolving this. and you may want to keep your name on
>>
>>116670
In making the rules for the most part I don't think my opinion should weigh any more than anyone else, so my name shouldn't matter.

Tell me why you think parenting a demigod should take power transfer?
>>
>>116680
I was thinking it in the context of him making the first vampire a demigod would require him investing some of his power, since it was a mortal that he was elevating to the status.
Much like how Ignatum made the Ruby Lady into a demigod by investing 15 of his own power into her.
>>
Hello everyone. So, demigods huh? Interesting.
I'd personally say that elevating a mortal into a vampire would require some level of godly power.
Though what do I know on such matters?
>>
>>116709
That's fair then, yeah good point. I guess it will require a different category then, that isn't demigod. Or something like that, since they're more like an exalted mortal rather than actually part god.

Maybe like you said, it requires power to invest in them, and they can't gain power on their own since they don't have divinity in their nature.
>>
Oh he means elevating a vampire.
>>116732 I second the term "exalted mortal".
Someone who can call upon the powers of a god without having been born of a god.
>>
>>116732
Well you could make em demigod as they have part divinity in them if passed by the god. So you could call them demigod but she is made by passing power not by rolling for it.

>>
>>116753
Maybe just Exalted since I don't think mortal HAS to be a requirement. Exalted undead, exalted construct, etc... mortal is just obviously going to be the most common.

>>116759
They have part divinity, maybe even in them, but that's not the same as actually being part god, as in part of their genealogy comes from a divine source. You could go right now, find a mortal and literally transfer all your divinity to them, but at their core they're still a mortal that ascended to godhood.

I think in this case obviously, there's a difference between transferring power, and transferring actual divinity. The former just exalts them, the latter turns them into a proper god at the cost of your own godhood.

She needs to roam the planet though. The Primordial God rises from his throne once more.
It is time to enter the realms of mortals in the guise of a new avatar. The last journey was as the glorious Warrior, but now should be different.
He looked at the fine ruby dust that lay on the frozen floor and an idea struck him: The Red Conqueror.
He shed off his godly armor and size as he left the polar Citadel, and began his second journey of the world.

When he passed through a forest he saw an empty lodge, the inhabitants long gone, whether through sickness, lack of animals to hunt or their own choice, he didn't know. Inside, however, he saw a large metal slab in the lodge's makeshift stable, something the old owner seems to have been trying to break down into smaller pieces to use.
The last time he had seen any of this metal had been in the hands of Ignatum, Oricalchum, and he was surprised that any mortal had owned this high a concentration of the metal.
He quickly passed his hands over the metal slab, peeling away dirt, cutting it as needed and carving intricate patterns into it with his nails. This would be a fitting weapon for this avatar.

As he passed through one kingdom after another, he would face bandits, guards and knights alike, and would leave nothing but corpses and cripples in his wake.
Stories would rise of the "Red Monster" as he carried on, his being quickly becoming a rumored legend throughout the lands, with multitudes of would-be heroes rising to meet the challenge that his mere existence radiated.
Even some Angels of Blood and Knights of Strife, the war gods' own divine agents, would seek out the Red Monster, only to be cut down by his golden-bronzed blade.

Days, weeks, months, even years passed of the Red Conqueror's journey, and in time he amassed a following of people who chased him for different reasons than to fight: Thieves, grave robbers, bards, priests, the gathering was as diverse as their reasons to follow him.
He made a great effort not to strike at those that merely followed, but would never talk with them.
Then there was the last group that chased him down: Those that wished to observe him and improve themselves through whatever lessons of strength they could gleam from him.

Soon enough, the haphazard gathering had grown to such a size that it would be thought to be an army, even though the Red Conqueror fought all his battles alone.
The, one day, he set his sights on a peculiar target: A former kingdom of men that had been conquered by Orcs in the past and made into their own nation-state.

He stood on a nearby hill, watching the city, and for the first time in years, his followers heard his voice, his challenge, as he dared any who would face the Red Conqueror to come forth from the city or flee, the lives and fate of any who'd stay belonged to him.

The ensuing battle lasted from high-noon and long into the night, and bards would sing of it for centuries to come, as a single gladiator faced over fifty thousand orc warriors alone, and won.
His followers got to witness the true meaning of a "Red Dawn" as he stood over the corpse of the orc chieftain.

In their belief of their own might, none of the orcs had actually run away, and as he walked into the town's square, followed by his horde, he announced in the same booming voice as before that the lives of all who stayed in the city at nightfall would be his, as the greatest champion of the Elder God Heroicus, and the kingdom was now his, the Red King's.

Some of the orcs and his own retinue left, mostly the thieves and robbers, while others accepted his rule.
The Red Kingdom would not become a very popular state, nor would many nobles or rulers seek to ally themselves with it, but in ages to come it would be guarded by The Red Sons and Brides, the Red Conqueror ruling with an iron fist for over three generations, finally relinquishing the title of "Red King" to one of his greatest sons, and travelling out into the wilds once more, to leave the realm of mortals, leaving behind his legendary sword Warbringer in the throne room of the Red Keep, where none could lift it but a true successor of the Conqueror.

The vampire mistress though warped by both the abyss and the powers of death had enough humanity left into her to be able to walk into the day. She did feel the sun burning at her form but nothing that couldn t be endured. She blended easly into the crouds using a bit of magic trickery at her hand and some persuation. She would normaly arrive in a town and stay for a few days at the inn while hunting in the cover of a night. She usually looked for criminals first draining them fully but would sometimes feed upon normal citizens never killing one. Until one day when a beautifull rugged man entered the inn she was staying. She felt the touch of love for the first time.
He was tall and powerfull wielding a great sword and fully dressed in armor. At first she though she could charm him with her vampiric powers but she quickly realized that it would not be the same as normal love. So she devised a paln. No true kek would fail a roll like this. YOU AR ENO TRUE KEK.

She's one of a kind.

On an unrelated note my people have a name. The Purudamars, or Men of Damarsa.
>>

>tfw there's no list of gods so multiple Keks are created with the same exact domain
Soon the pantheon will be nothing but smug frogs of chaos
>>
>>115786
Unreasonable domains are the best though.
>>
>>118003
We need to make a list of active gods.
>>
>>118003
So can I be the one true kek to rule them all or not? INB4 dubs confirming the real kek supports this KEK RISES
>>
>>117993
Well she is as she is the Primordial the first blood line. She will start making others though. Her blood contains the initial tainted power and my power as well. So feeding that to a mortal will probably create Pure bloodlines and from there on the bloodlines get diluted in human blood. They can get infinitly diluted but their power gets diluted as well. They do gain power with time but nothing to strong.
(trust me i do have a decent idea for a vampire lore :D I just dont know how to start making all those blood lines i need a motif for her to start making more vamps and i am strugling with that. I think failed love could work thats hwy i set her up with an adventurer.)
>>
>>117777
Excellent. Recovery speeding up. Est. 3 Ages. More power to shorten.
>>
>>118048
Well there is none left m8. i gave what i took from that beast. Im not passing my own power. i already risked a lot with that shadow spawn into gray hole. If we kill the beast i will probably manage to shit the rest of the lost power but until then. I need to focus the lore of my vamipre.
>>
>>118044
Well I don't have any ideas, so good LUCK with that. ;)
>>
>>118048
I do not feed whispers from the dark, void beast! Haha just jesting I figure it's you Lurker and I would help but I am a bit exhusted from my brush with Domina. Mayhaps Frakt may gift you due to you're long history or Perpatus with his great reserves and influence over time.
>>
>>118137
If I get dubs kek commands that you bow down and serve him, for you are far inferior to the almighty lord of chaos. KEK RISES.
>>
>>118137
I guess you aren't inferior. meme magic has commanded it as thus. so it is.
>>
>>118156
GO AWAY FAKE KEK YOU ARE NOT OUR GOD!
>>

You're not the only god of chaos around here buddy.
>>
>>118172
I told you the meme magic is touch and go today. one minute it's quads the next it's singles..I'm not getting enough praise from the anons to warrant use of my powers.

>>118177
>>118188
CHECKED KEK BE PRAISED!
TOP KEK
>>
>>118203
>mfw when i rolled quads againts the god of chaos and a stanic trip.
>mfw when he praises just a dub.
M8 you are not kek the real kek survived getting banned from shit posting and si actually preaty interesting.
>>
>>118203
Yeah, no. I'm pretty sure gods don't praise gods. Get off your high horse.
>>
>>118224
There is two keks on the plane therefore I am praising him,yet also praising myself. Mindblowing I know. Also checkem
>>
>>118156
Better to throw about your own power little God of chaos, none of us are so weak as to fall prey to your esoteric magics. And your own power will let you grow (though dubs on a 10 is quite impossible...) and mayhaps you'll impress Domina to give you some boon. Though you are young enough that you may go to her freely still up to 20 I believe though I do not remember for certain and suggest caution when approaching
>>
>>118243
... Just... No.
>>
>>118251
IF we decide to keep him around. I may just decide to rend his stay here short with my scythe. Right now his shitposting is weaker than the true kek (the 56 frog god who si niarl .... did i say he is someone i didnt srry). I wait him to step up his game.
>>
>>118272
If you do then I'll invoke my powers to increase your odds of a lethal hit (give you a +10 buff).
>>
>>118272
I'm more curious how the Keks will react to one another. Will they be comrades or will they attempt to consume each other?
>>
>>118137
>>118048
Ah these things I do.

Lurker, your experiments are an affront to all of creation, yet my domain does not allow me to avoid your plea.
I pluck an eyelash, containing 2 of my divine power. I cast this Lash of Perpatus into the hole, may it speed up the recovery.
>>
>>118418
What exactly is it that Lurker does? I'm interested.
>>
>>118418
Why isnt your domain permit to not help?
>>118438
That lurker is the primordial god of darkness (something that kinda hurts my immage and puts me at a major disatvantage). He is strong as balls as he is ancient. But his roles are crap and really did a lot of mess(es) to this universe and universes past. But he is a nice guy grumpy but nice. Thats why i help him cause i cant really be mad at a guy like him.
>>
>>118450
And you said something about his experiments.

mostly cosmic stuff liek black holes and voids. Dark planets false stars pulling out things out of voids. (getting trapped by cthulus watch dogs and turned into a japanese porn star). Things like this. I dont know his end goal though but i dont think he is that bent on doing harm. Although he was known to devour rivals too zealous. Thats why i am eager to try to abandon the darkness and go only as a god of death(i have bound my idea of death to darkness though and most of my shit is dark based ideas)
>>
>>118438
Lurker is a pure manifestation of darkness, and it is his goal to return all things to the void. He casually experiments with the taboos of the Universe to try and create something to aid his endeavors.
>>118450
My domain is time, and my mantle is interpreting the waves of time. Creation has its place in time, and so does destruction. Light has its place, and so does darkness. It is because of this I cannot deny the Lurker, his existence is paramount in balancing the waves of time.
>>
>>118490
Well I was interested, and with that my interest is lost. I don't think I'll be contributing any power to him. Sorry Lurker.
>>
>>118509
His existence isnt threatened he is safe now. he is only stuck with his msitake not in danger. But i understand your position.
>>
>>118513
Zel is part of Lurker's domain, forgive his innocent view of him.

Lurker's existence is almost solely to cast the universe into darkness, with a secondary objective of seducing Domina.
>>
>>118518
Well he didnt activly go like THE UNIVERSE IS NOW DEAD ROLL BITCHES. He did his stuff and failed. Also i do think someone is responsable to bring darkness into the world as its the cycle (uneverse are born in light and end in dark). he isnt really evil. Just a necesary. He even regreted fucking over that portal for his every potential hole was filled with tentacle. But yeah i dont really see him as a bad guy especially from his behavior. But he does try hard to be dominas husband.
>>
>>118518
Plunge the world into darkness? Blegh. I can respect what he does, but that doesn't sound very fun.
>>
>>118542
He seems like a fairly nice guy, and I'm sure he would be a good husband for Domina. light and dark, creation and destruction, birth and entropy. They would complete each other.

Hmmm with all this wonderful metal I must craft. I gather most of the Steelfire that formed and begin to work it around Phoenixity, the steel and star will make a splendid forge. I also think I will adjust my domains, I will weaken my animation to a subdomain and raise my forging to a true domain... Unless anyone abjects to this. I believe I'll make it an even 15/15 split as well.
>>
>>118595
Well i dont honestly know how can someone be the husband of domina as she is basicly a walking god furnace(no disrispect intended). She literlay strips power and personality from gods that are to close to her and devours them to turn them into stars. Its quite an unhappy relation desu. at least lurker would give domina a really nasty indigestion if she ever decides to devour him (light vs dark thing and all) so he is safe from that at least but her pressence is painfull especially to a dark being.

bah i cant think of shit for vampires as normal.
Fast forward to today (a few hundred years that is) We have 5 major vampire blood lines 20 minor ones and many vampires all across the world of different races and genders. The First born of each blood lines are called vampire lords and are the closest in blood purity to the Primordial One they can keep the line pure by marrying other pure bloods or can go down a notch by turning/ marrying humans. Born vampires are slightly strong than turned vampires. They turn by passing blood to humans or by normal sexual reproduction and they can have normal humans as waking blood bags so they dont need to hunt. They are amoung the wealthy because they knew the tricks of the trade/ some cheated a bit. Also the lords and the primordial one have an unkillable slave of decent power that is permanently bound towards their master and can not be truned against. Their word is law.
(also i am thinking that each vampire line should have a certain trait/ could have certain powers that are given by certain gods they worship as each blood line although bound by blood to the Queen (Dialara the primordial one) they do still have autonomy and can chose their fate more or less here depends on what each god wants and such)
The queens castle is beautifull yet always shroded in a permanent night and the vilage around are their cattle like people that are grown and kept happy but obedient towards the main rulling house.
Ah also vampires have certain degrees of light sensitivity. The queen is immune to the light and only becomes a bit weaker in the day. The Vampire lords are a bit more sensitive and lose more powers during the day. Princes are normal humans under the suns effect. And under princes need to start to shade themselves for a variable ammount of time (ranging from almost a full day under shadow to almost complete light sensitivity from the 6th generation onward) Also the 8th generation can technicly still turn but their chances are really slim and the offsprings are really weak. Vampires are extreamly stealthy and agile and are master spies and infiltrators. Also a few of them make for good abasadors due to their vampiric charm. The way to kill them is basicly either really godly powers (god breaker hammer lighting spreas from gods stuff of this calliber) or special blessed weapons. Normal weapons range from usless to midly usefull depending on how close to teh primordial one they are in the gen tree. They also have natural resistance to dark magic (again from total resistance of the primordial one to light resistance towrds the bottom). They are weak to light users though in the parameters of light sensitivity(only the primordial one can be considered almost immune to exposure to light magic unless of considerable power)
So yeah these are the vampires that you face. (cant wait to mingle some with the hordes of heroicus. It will be fun)

Continuing to hammer out the shape and form of a forge from the mass of divine metal.
>>118651
Depends on what you want it to be like, and when I finish my forge. I want the forge to be perfect. As for your hammer what do you wish it to be made from? Oricalchum or adamantium or vibranium or Mithril or other mythic metals are not a simple trifle to craft but do able with magic. Stronger things can be made though, I can use a single point of your divinity to make a good deal of Steelfire, or a good deal of divinity feed through Pheonixity once the forge is made will produce some Starmetal. Or you could even form a material of your own essence or divinity and I would refine it for you. What do you seek?

>>
>>118969
I'll take one if you would give it
>>
>>118969
Let it never be said that I wasn't willing to spread more of that cold white crap I love so much.

A sect of the Vampires of the Polar regions have begun to display an interesting ability, but are now unable to drain either blood nor life-force from their victims. Instead, they drain the heat from their prey, leaving cold, lifeless husks in their wake. They are able, through their undead curse and the "flame" they steal from others, to survive in even the coldest weather. Frakt is not aware of their presence, nor the terrible secret they have stumbled upon, a secret even they do not know. Unknowingly, these Vampires have developed the first techniques required to become a FrostFire Mage, a type of Magic not native to this reality.

For now, these Vampires scour the north and south, stripping man and beast alike of their precious warmth. Their howls carry over the winds as longing eyes look upwards. There is something out there, on... no, IN another world that they crave, but it is beyond their reach...

For now.
>>
>>119028
And thus the house of the raging blood was named. Lead by the brutal lord Brelier a hulking vampire second in line to be the primal ruler. He is the stronghest beside the primordial one but he is not the fastest and is the least versed in magical arts. That never stoped him though from wiping full armies of vampire hunters all by himself. His house is the least garmed of them all and enjoy the more animalistic behaviour of their form.
(recomand giving him a weapon not to godly but still worthy, hope you enjoy the rough edges of their house you can change shit depending on what they do to serve you and such)
>>
>>119028
That sounds lewd.
>>
>>119050
You win my descriptions. I will give them their name and the name of the lord though ok?
House of the Blistering Cold(can take suggestions here). And thier leader the charismatic witch Vydviana soon to be first frostfire mage. (just a suggestion)
>>
>>119053

Hmm, I will make sure that he will be a prophet of mine. He seems the type
>>
>>119063
Both names are fine, but the only true FrostFire is kept in the ring at the center of the Frozen World orbiting Star Chosen. The only way a mortal can become a mage is~
A) Get that ring
B) Be blessed by me, Frakt,

Since I'm not handing out blessings, the ring is the only option. I guard it jealously, but any and all gods are welcome to send mortals to try and get it. (rolls of 95+)
>>
>>119040
The house of the timless ones are a peculiar bunch. They are the least in numbers as they found little interest in spreading their power. Instead they decided to listens to the songs of time that Perpatus always rings while manipulating the strands of times. By far the most versed in powerfull time based magics(your call) they are not that fond of combat and instead prefer to studie the time and its secrets. They are the most peacefull and formed a cast of monk like thralls that also worship the time lord. Their leader is the enigmatic Jinhav of the Mystic Pyramids an old mage figure studier of magic that accepted the gift of blood from the primordial one in hope of empowering and speeding his reaserch. After exhausting everything that the powers of the blood could offer him, he then turned to the time god in hope that his knowledge of past present and future. He is the least loyal of the houses to the primordial one but due to his desire to learn magic instead of learning he is the least to betray. (i think i got a decent description of possible vampires to serve you).
>>
>>119086
Well they clearly are the canditates to be the first frostfire mages unless a god steals your ring first. I mean thats exactly the point of the houses led by other gods they. They can be blessed by others and even have alegiances different from the main house(the queens house). so it wouldn t be out of question to make them first mages when you feel the need.

In the early days of their existence they began to question the meaning of their being. They did not wish to feed on life anymore.
Scorned by their fellow night creatures, and dying of starvation, they looked for divine help. Perpatus hears their plea, and takes them into his domain.
I gift these vampyres with my time-sight, so they might learn and meditate on my truths, and feed in moderation.

But yeah they are your followers now and i have little say in what they do. (just please dont start vampire wars just yet please i just made them XD)
>>119114
(I dont want to sound rude but i kinda like my description more. it makes them more indifferent to their state of life. Also makes them more enigmatic like the time god himself.) The strongest of the ruling houses The house of the First Born, is ruled by the King of Vampires Alucard. The first vampire to be born and the second strongest in the world he leads the purest of the lines and has no god that he worships. Even though he is the technical leader the Queen has more saying than him in that house. They are the least deviated from the 5 blood lines and are adept users of blood magic as well as shadow magic. Although not as strong as the Raging bloods or as versed in magic as the Infiniums(took your name :D) they are the most agile of them all and are on par in other domains of the houses. they are the best infiltrators and spies and have the most most influence over the human world through ambasadors and other diplomatic or less diplomatic methods. Although they dont serve him the God of Death considers them his favourites and watches them closely.

Zel I care nothing for your vampires but I do have a favor I might ask of you. Ever since Seara walked with the mortals and they heard of her tale they have taken to mimicking her. They trek into the desert attempting to reach my obsidian temple and most of them die but a few are successful... I find them uninspired and uncreative in their devotion and faith but I feel the need to reward them some what.

May I have the souls of the successful one to return to their glass blown bodies? They'll only be flame trapped in glass not truely divine like Seara but if they wish to be a pale imitation I'd let them if you allow it.

>>

There are three ways currently;

>1. Roll the maximum value on your dice when you roll, if you do, you gain 1 power.
>2. Earn a power increase roll, based on what you do in the game/threads and what you accomplish. If it's determined that you deserve it, you get to roll a d30 and add the result to your power.
>3. Be given power by another god. Normally this requires the other god to actually give up some of their own power to give it to you, but when gods get powerful enough they can create divine power themselves and give it willingly. Currently I'm the only god at this level of power.

Also you could steal power from another god or demigod, or their divine creation, something like that. That's obviously a hostile action though and requires combat most likely.

What a rare and strange ore adamantium is, once melted and forged it is almost impossible to reforge. The three blades are poured out and the larger the blade the more flaws form in the metal. I hammer and fold and superheat never letting them cool as I pour my fire magic into them. The great sword is plain and deceivingly ugly, the edges look chipped though the edge is razor sharp and adamantium could never chip. Perhaps the divots merely wish to drink up the blood it will spill. The rapier is the finest of them, a blade tapering to a point and so thin when viewed from the side it is nearly invisible. The handle and crossguard is shaped a viper to be wrapped around the weilder's hand. The long sword is a blade for a king, the adamantium heated perfectly leaving the metal a midnight black. I have set rubies in along the metal at irregular intervals and when drawn they gleam like wicked eyes in the black blade.

In the previous universe, a demigod almost defeated Domina, but he lost in the end. Yet after being consumed, the star that was birthed was the largest for several ages. Heroicus knows this story well.

NOT IT!
>>
>>121377
>>121396
Sadly I can't make a ruling on that, you'll have to speak with the Domina the Mother of Stars when she returns (thread OP). I could see it being maybe something like twice the power you've put in towards rolls battling foes and the ability to make attempts of dominion or persuasion over those who wear the lesser rings. But straight up powerlevel boosts are hard to come by Domina is pretty careful about it and eats the gods that get uppity... Or really just get too close to her. But don't worry she's a sweetheart at her burning plasma core.

>Craftsmanship

That's all I needed to hear.

Very well then, I'd say the power of the ring is proportional to the amount of power you remove from yourself and put into it. Say, every point you remove from yourself, counts for one and a half points to the ring? So if you put all 80 into it, you'll get 120 out of it. At least for now, as a first item you make.

Also to make it, will take as many rolls as it takes to reach the amount of power you want out of it.
>>
>>121540

He knows about 60% of everything, being my most devout follower with unrestricted access to my realms. That said, there's not much he knows that would be of interest to you.
It seems like you think he knows something specific, maybe you could ask, I may well answer.
>>
>>121567
Well Originally i had an 88 power level i put 8 divine points into the ring . Could i put other gods's divine essence into it.
>>
>>121589
It depends on how you do it. If other gods help you make it, give you their power, or you take it from them sure.

Also if you want a refund on those 8 in the meantime while figuring out how you want to make the ring that's fine.

Check the old threads, there is 68 Divine Essence in the FrostFire Ring, divided between the two God-Children slumbering within it. Domina, the ring was made of many different materials no longer native to this reality, such as the DreamScape, the souls of a mortal Cleric, Mage and Summoner, fragments of the Realm of Colour, Resonance Metal and ShadowStone. Gol Durak, I was thinking of giving my disciples a beast of their own to assist them. Possibly a riding animal. I could change about 10 of a certain species.
But I need a base that's already fast with good endurance. Know anything I can that fits the bill?
>>
>>122434
Alas, deity who masks themselves as part of the Choir, Gol Durak can only think of two beasts of this universe that fits the bill.
The Bale Hounds are indeed quick and nimble, as well as stealthy and ferocious to boot; but they are not known for their endurance.
On the other hand, the Swamp Striders has endurance to go for miles; but it is quite big, and thus quite slow. Not to mention very docile if left alone.
There was a creation of Gol Durak in the previous universe, the Swamp Dragon, that is both fast and has a lot of endurance - but sadly it did not survive the transition into this universe. Whatever remains of the Swamp Dragon might be consumed by the Beast that Never Were, which overtook the previous universe.
>>
>>122214
The House of the Bog lurkers Is an odd one. Being born more out of the curiosity of the queen, they are rulled by the Witch Doctor Xielthra(a she) who accepted the gift of blood in an attempt to try to commune with the spirit ancestors. Although they praise the spirits they have little beliefe in race(they are formed from miriads of humans orcs elves even faes) and accept any one into their tribe who manages to survive the ritual of initiation, where the uninitiated is put to drink the blood essence of the one that selected him with a spoonful of poison in order to see if they are worthy of living in the Bogs.
Although they can still sustain themselves with blood of other mortals their new allegiance to the swamp god Gol Durak has made them capable of gathering and feasting on the fears of others. Most of them being natural born swamp dwellers they are accustomed with the creatures of the bog and are capable of taming Bale Hounds and are almost undetectable in their natural terrain. Also this allows the to harvest a whole variaty of herbs from the most toxic ones to the best healing herbs the swamp has to offer. This makes them the most liked house among non vampires as their medicinal potions are well know and spread among neighboring towns but this also allows the Bog Lurkers to obtain their sustenance as there is a never ending stream of sick and scared mortals willing to brave the swamps in search of a cure for their many ailments.

What occurs is an oasis of sorts; but one that is deeper than it looks. While some smaller marsh creatures and plants can live here, there are no truly big trees, and the Swamp Wood does not exist here. But, something curious happens; some sort of new substance seeps from under the mire. They float above the water and causes the water to have a myriad of colors, like a rainbow - and instead of extinguishing fire elementals, this substance energizes them.

The Purudamarsian village of Gol Durak's swamp is a small gathering of primitive huts made from the trees in a dry clearing.
Their food consists of small lizards, rodents, and fruits; and have been inspired to tame and domesticate the great Swamp Striders, which they use to travel the swamplands, using primitive spears to protect themselves as they ride.

If I had know you were leaving them about for great heroes to find I would have made fewer of greater craftsmen ship. I had thought I was arming some mortal army for battle.

While I am delivering the javelins to the God of Destruction I pause to look about. I have been putting it of too long in some mild uncertainty, perhaps even fear. But I must find Seara now, I cannot allow myself to avoid her by throwing myself into forging and work.

It takes some time, her melted footprints are frozen all about the great citadel and as a holy domain I cannot merely summon her location. But before long I find her, she stands on a table made for Heroicus at his massive leisure, reading from a book that is as large as she is. I find some amusement in this as I watch patiently and take in her new form. She is beautiful, looking almost human if not for the divine glow about her and looks too flawless to be mortal. Her skin tanned and sun kissed with hair the color of the Ruby flame that is her soul and a dress similar in color roses or blood. Though in mortal form she merely waves her hands to have the massive pages turn themselves. I can see that she is still the Seara who gave herself to me, but now there is more as well.

"You know you could simply take a larger form, I doubt Heroicus would withhold a seat in one of his chairs." Her eyes go wide and she jumps looking up from her book to me and the smile that breaks over her face is like a warm sunrise chasing away morning dew for my fears, "Lord Ignatum! I had been awaiting your return!" She walks toward me along that massive table top stoping at it's edge and crossing her arms. "And I enjoy being in my mortal form, at times my mind aches from how far I've changed. Besides small is often underestimated."

With that she steps from the tables edge suddenly her form expanding and growing as she matches a godly size and grasps my hand as she leans against me (l-lewd). The fire of my body sizzles and pops against her skin but does nothing more than tickle and warm. "Where have you been my Lord? I feared you had forgotten me."

"I have taken up crafting and forging, I have built the most splendid forge with grand powers to make many wonders and enchantments, you will marvel when you see it." My excitement and delight displayed so nakedly as I would rarely let even other gods or even Domina see. "But worry not, I could never forget you, you my most cherished soul and my blessed child." Pride in her flows from my speech, but she must have found some flaw in it as she pulls away from me and I glimpse disappointment, mortals even with divine gifts are so fickle and confusing.

"I'm sure the forge is magnificent my Lord, but I must turn your offer down. I have been away from the mortals too long and in this Great Citadel I've learned much of destruction and war. I wish to return to the desert and temples, to walk among the mortals once again with my new powers and knowledge."

(Continued)
>>
>>123265
A surprising amount of jealousy flares within me as I am spurned my own chosen champion for the company of mortals! She has always been bold and now she carries power that is not purely mine, so I hold my rebuke. Let her flex her divinity and do what she may, nothing in the mortal realm will awe her like the forge I have crafted. Let her carry the words of a God of Destruction if mine have lost their worth! "As you will it then, bring MY word to the mortals. Do what you will."

There is some uncertainty to her, "My lord you've spent so much time in your realm, working on baubles of power. Come with me to the mortal realm, walk with me among your people."

BAUBLES?! She calls my crafts BAUBLES?! The burn of my displeasure shows in the flames of my form and the heat flowing from me. The walls of the study melt slightly, I'll need apologize to the God of Destruction for that. The heat burns her now, foolish thing does as she always has done and steps closer, "M-my Lord?" My words are neutral but perhaps mocking "I must turn you down, child, I have more 'baubles' to craft." I step away from her into my realm. The once mortal woman's face is fallen and sad, she shrinks to mortal stature and turns stepping away from the ice citadel and into my obsidian temple. The study refreezes it's dampened walls and the book sits on the table unfinished.

(Oh divine soap operas, Seara might lead to the death of a lot of mortals soon...)

I did too well, too much. I left mountains (literally) of ancient knowledge unchecked and unwatched.
I must see what she's learned and what she'll spread amongst the mortals.

A quick check tells me that she had almost read through the detailed chapters on the five faces of magic, the secrets of mortal and godly magic, but had thankfully not made it to the chapter on Binding Summoners.
So, the Burning of ones Soul, the knowledge of Frakt's Frostfire, the Power of Shadows, and the Enchantments and Illusions of Veraiitus. Each technique a source of great power on their own.
Thankfully she didn't learn of the Art of Binding, magic that draws upon the WORDs of gods.

"You! What have you taught the mortals?!" The booming voice of the God's avatar roars like a coming storm, as he barges into the obsidian temple.
He waits for an answer, the gaze of his burning eyes boring holes into the Ruby Lady.
Witnessing a god in his realm is one thing, but having one chase you down and possibly furious is a wholly different thing.

The Obsidian Temple shakes with the power of the Avatar's entrance. The bodies of the Crystal Souls, my most loyal followers, crack and various flames the color of their souls flare through them; still those of my devotion are not lacking in bravery as they ready Ruby Spears and Obsidian Sheilds if there is need to defend their Mistress.

The Woman looks to the God with eyes puffy and steam flows from her face as she rises and her misguided rage turning to this intruding force. "What have I taught?! I have taught devotion, worship and sacrifice! I speak comforts and lessons the ignorant need know but that you GODS do not offer. Playthings, children, and tools, all that you mighty beings see in mortals! No matter what is done we are nothing to you! Ashes in the wind!" Taking no notice of the devoted servants, he continued.
"You have stolen from me. You have stolen the most valuable of all currencies: Knowledge."

And with the last word, he stood right next to her, staring her in the eye, challenging her to look back, as he slowly raised his hand and laid it on her shoulder.
"Your crime is great, and so is your sentence. You, Serea, the Ruby Lady, shall no longer serve the burning one. From this day on, you, and the forbidden knowledge you hold, are mine.

Well the mirror apparently has the powers to allow me to see things in other realms. (including the ugly nasty beast).
Sigh. I think that you are partially right here i think the essence of death splatered in your great abyss while i was forming and i was a bit too influenced by your rather imposing strenght as a god. The host is the same and is not at the same time. The host of death got entertwined with the host of dark. Only a rupture of this reality can allow the true separation to happen.
This is my explination. You have chosen dark i chose the death but i dabbled into the dark to much to be able to separate now.
+ sharing a host with a grumpy old god is always funny especialyl since you are this plesurable to stay near by.

See this is what i dont like. To be tutored like a baby. I know i have misteped my boundries a bit (quite a bit actually) but what can i do if the entity of death is such a beta that it god hidden in the darkness(aka im blaming my desire to link death to darkness). I know you want to build blackholes and voids(to not be confused with cthulus void and shiet) and other wonderous and stupendesly dangerous experiments that will most likely blow the reality up. And i really like that but its not my call. I enjoy watching and contributing toward ideas not objects. The idea of death purgatory (which reminds me we ahvent used that shit in ages) where do mortals go when they die how they enjoy their stay. This is what i want to do. And as you noticed i have distanced my self as much as i could im trying to bulge the beta fuck of a host of death to be independent. Sadly in this world it will never happen and i dont really mind as it appart from the rather high chance of being eaten alive. (which i kinda have a policy for this but still not enough and never enough to stop you as most of my shit is darkbased) After all i am the god of death afraid of dying himself.

>>
>>123808
See what I mean of being too young. Cause Death to fuel yourself. Also. These fools still don't understand what a black hole truly is. It's mearely what I call a regulator. It absorbs divine energy, and passively regulates it. Or else if it accumulates. Bad shit occurs. Also, smash that damn avatar. Also, all of these guys are too prejusdiced to see everything in balance.
>>
>>123818
You have no idea how fun it is to watch the world try to avoid the inevitable. Mortals squirming against fate. Gods trying to balance everything and even succeding for long periods of time.
And you have your cetanty. and then you just meddle a bit and listen to all the great stories that come into your realm. Heroes fighting villains and mosters Villains plots that failed. When you have certanty you dont need to store power. You say cause death to fuel my self. Why? Heroicus is doing a great job for that i only reap (oh no the puns im turning to sans) the rewards. He may blast monsters crush mortals and pop some godly knee caps. but you come like the janitor in the back cleaning his mess and taking all the beautifull gems with you. In time you become richer than ever. That why i even took the sub domain of heroic stories. for they are the one true gems of every world and with the word any story can be more powerfull than a 1000 god breakers.

Maybe one day I'll be big enough to see what would happen if you created a reverse blackhole (a whitehole?). I'm guessing it would be churning out mass, rather than sucking it in like a blackhole. Wouldn't that defy the law of physics though, hmm maybe I'll sit on it for a while
>>
>>123858
Yeah, but the prejudiced bastard won't listen to reason. And intends to ruin all the fun by creating a council bullshit. At that point, why should I stay here. >>
>>123811
(Sorry on the delay, work is super hectic right now. So writing is impossible)
>>

You could all those struggles are why I'm here!
Of course, I don't care about their attempts to break fate, because I know there's a 100% chance of this universe dying and us moving on to the next. So I just have fun and with the universe at hand!
>>123878
I'm sorry, what did you call me?
>>

>>
>>123894

>>
>>123878
Another reason to separate my self from darkness. You fight against fate. I the final word of fate. You try to dodge the karma. I am the manifestation of negative karma. And reincarnation could be my twin sisters as i take life so i can give that life back (difference from creating new life).
You have chosen a fighters path. And i bow before your courage for the one that fights fate itself is a bigger hero than any and all. I will follow you forever but not as a servant but as your bard and hystorian until one day when your fight ends.

I am undecided if I should allow the mortals of this Reality to practice the FrostFire Magics. For now, the only source of FrostFire is myself, and Calinise, the ring at the center of Volura. I worry that, should a FrostFire mortal grow in strength, they would seek my ring to claim it, for it would elevate them, indeed, anyone who wore it, to true Godhood.

That sounds ok. I think for it to be fair though, if she does take over from you, she can't gain your power on top of hers as well.

Unless like, she kills you and takes it, but if you're playing her then you can see how that wouldn't be fair. It's possible but we'll have to work it a little for balance. That's all assuming it goes that way though, that she kills and usurps you.

So many stories lost in that age. And i do not want to dabble into magics of the past. I only read to know. plus it would be a bad idea to try to use the shadows to learn from lurkers youthfull form. Afterall i am trying to distance my self from him.
>>
>>124713
What I meant to say is that, under nearly every circumstance where she takes over from you, she would elevate to whatever your power level was at the time, but wouldn't add the two of yours. Just raise from hers to yours.

For her to kill you would take a combat, which you can't combat against yourself.

If you have other god(s) to help her though then that seems fair. It would come down to the usurpers though how they split the power.

That's fine but basically how it would play out is that you would go into combat with whatever gods she can convince to help. Then after the power is divided up if you are killed.

So mechanically, she may be involved but she won't actually be rolling.
