See here the part about privilege? moot set up the rules entirely in the favor of the staff, with loopholes and vague twistable bullshit to be whipped up at their convenience; he learned well how to use trickery like this during his later years. it is not for the users. The users HAVE NO AUTHORITY that hiro and (((Team 4chan LLC))) do not allow. The most we might get is mostly one sided, vague consultation, like with the creation of /bant/.

He is a hands off admin and delegates thr vast majority of decisions to the mod team, of which only a few seniors have real influence and the rest are in tow to them. The way moot set up his shit before abandoning this place was to make it even more unappealing than ever to be janny, and ever more difficult to get raised to mod unless you're a janny who's sucked senior mod dick a few years minimum, and the current senior mods want to retain a stranglehold on influence.

What does the prior rant about the mod system mean for you? It means that

1. The mod team is small and is set up to be that way indefinitely.
2. The population explosion of /pol9kreddit/ that started since GG (which you probably scurried in with since you don't know jack from shit asking stupid shit) has insured that there will always be roughly 300 shitposters for every active mod in an age where ban evasion is as common knowledge as sage or #fortune.
3. Not even most individual mods can always just act because they need council concensus to even use powers, as mentioned by A-san after he was fired.
4. Jannies can barely do shit because they do not trust them with effective power
5. Hiroyuki is a hands off admin, but the mods cannot act without his approval evem if they understand situations far better than him; their relationship is like trying to conduct electricity from a potato.

Second: remember how /bant/ was made, yet notice how /pol/ looks more or less in the same shitty state its been in so long now?

/bant/ was supposed to funnel away the off topic shitposts, but even now its still off topic shitposts witb maybe a smattering more on topic shitposts.

Protip: its the USERS that make /pol/ so shit, as well as /v/ before it even.

With so few staff against so many retards who want to shitpost or go offtopic they would have to crackdown on the board to the point of alienating the userbase and making a worse mess than the small ones they already have routinely; theres no reward.

Next: because the mod team is small, of course they know of your complaints and have seen and heard all this shit before. Theres no nee mods; it is always the same puny teamsseeing reports and hearing /q/ bitching from users that know less than they do.

If they ignore your its for 2 reasons, sometimes both:

2. It's a situation they cant deal with well and/or have already explained

Next: /trash/ cannot be flooded with off topic. It's trash. Its the gloomy bottom of an outhouse hole for a website known as "the asshole of the internet" it's the lowest circle of hell. It was created as a bin for garbage the mods don't want to waste time micromanaging; why would they act counter to that idea and spend even one second there longer than they have to having what little of their sanity is left eroded by human abominations?

Only Hiroyuki can fix it, but again, even with more theoretical mods, its just forcing the square peg that is /pol/ into a round hole. The legal framework set by moot, the secretive circlejerk of the old guard mods, and Hiroyuki's unwillingness and inability to uproot things he doesnt quite understand but really needs to evaluate without his seeing eye mods have severed what little connection and intimacy anon ever had with staff and put the site in gridlock.

We can't do shit, and we don't really want to anyways. Just stay on /pol/ there is nothing for you here.
