One of my issues with the show is that they aren't consistent throughout episodes. Rick was suicidal after Unity left him, until he wasn't. Jerry and Beth rekindled their marriage until the next episode when they go back to the same old bullshit. Rick has moments where he proves he is a good guy, but not even ten seconds later he is an asshole. None of the character development carries from episode to episode. Hell, the only relationship that has "evolved" since the series began was between Summer and Rick.

A /co/mrad did some research on the new female writers and it turns out they have little experience and the one with experience have written shitty kid shows for Nick. It also turns out they sacked three male writers who have written the funniest episodes of the show. It's gonna be turning to shit soon.
