I just realized something. From January until July I didn't take any birth control as I didn't have it. I lost 30 lbs in one month, and the month after that I had my period for the first time since I was 13 without having to force it by taking BC.

Does this mean I had too much estrogen and that reaffirmed my body into having me have my period? Or was me eating healthy re-balancing my hormones and letting my body be more natural?

This is fucking with me. I didn't notice any difference in my hair but aside from having an easier time with depression and losing 30 lbs, I can't help but wonder if the damage done from years of eating garbage can be reversed that quickly. My hair started thinning and falling out in 2013, but only in the past year has it went into overdrive mode. In the past year I was also the heaviest, until I lost all that weight.
