London is a shit place to raise a family, London is not a shit place to be if you want to get up that social ladder in your 20's-early 30's there is no where else to do it. If London was really as fucking dire as you'd suggest would people still be moving here in there droves? Would Tourists still have it as one of the top destinations in the world? Would it still be placed as probably the most influential and best city to operate in the World? The city is booming with development even through all this shit going on right now. A lot of people can't cut it here, usually because they didn't make good life choices and don't have a good career, there's no where better to be if you do though.

London has its shit together at a far better level than most European cities which look like actual dumps in comparison.

Honestly it's fucking tragic. This place used to be a very good area to buy a home and begin raising a family. It wasn't particularly special, but you could commute to Central London OK, live in a relatively leafy suburb, find a decent school for your kids whilst still having some of the benefits of city living.

It's a monument to the failure of multi-cultralism. Full to the brim with Africans, Turks, Muslims, Poles etc. No one talks to each other, there's litter absolutely fucking everywhere, everyone has that dead look in their eyes, it's just horrible, so empty, it stands for absolutely nothing. A complete vacuum.

I took my girlfriend (who isn't from London) back here once, it was one of the most embarrassing things that's ever happened to me. I feel like I don't have a hometown anymore, all my roots and experiences as a child I can't get in touch with anymore. I don't visit my old school or local pub, it's too dangerous at certain times, not worth the grief of having to take public transport amongst this filth.
