The idea that most circumcised women feel their sex lives are "completely destroyed" is pure bunk. Most of them defend it, just like you're doing right now.

It is seen as a religious obligation by many Muslims in Egypt and many other Muslim majority countries like Indonesia and Malaysia. In Indonesia and Malaysia less (sometimes no) tissue is excised, but a cut is made into the vulva. In Egypt oftentimes the cutting is more severe, but there's no evidence it removes more tissue or nerve endings than common Egyptian male circumcisions do.

You can see in pic related a Malay Muslim girl defending female circumcision with the same kind of arguments you are using.

Now in Egypt if the anti female circumcision law is anything like what we have in the US, even types of female circumcision that remove far far far less tissue than common forms of male circumcision are illegal. It is not needed for health, and it is not inherently less damaging than many types of circumcision done to girls. These are just myths.
