Personally anything that isn't State-approved should be banned as a precautionary measure. Just to give a respite from the continuous onslaught. Try and create a climate for a return to neo-classicism. Fostering regional folk arts and crafts traditions would definitely be a plus - art you can use! I sort of side-stepped the question though, didn't specify what kind of thing the State would approve of but we both know the answer to that. Fashwave is a great aesthetic - no use being a bunch of Luddites; the technology exists for digital graphic art, and the kids respond to it.

The thing with folk arts and crafts is, it promotes a specific worldview - the people matter, the concrete > the abstract; practical > theoretical. Like ceramics for example: it's self contained, there are clear boundaries, you can use it in your daily life, there are pottery traditions in indo-european cultures going back 10s of thousands of years. It's inherently about structure, traditions. There are a lot of implications there, It says a lot that a giant styrofoam phallus statue does not.

There's certainly a few things typical of the modern era which Hitler hadn't foreseen - do you create massive firewalls (sorry, not a tech geek) like China to block private citizens from enjoying what you referred to as 'degenerate' modern art? I'm certainly inclined to think some internet crackdown would be more than warranted - we both know the filth that's out there. It's probably debatable whether fashwave - as it essentially promotes healthy values - is actually degenerate though, but in any case there should be a strong incentive towards physical activity and the outdoors, held up as a principal value, so the youth would be less inclined to be interested in the internet as an entertainment vehicle.
Was probably easier to create a universal enrollment in the HitlerJugend back when there was no TV, vidya, chinese cartoons etc.. We have our work cut out for us in that regard.
