lol who cares what the price is, unless you're some (((currency speculator))) who fell for the bitcoin commodity meme. The main value of bitcoin is a decentralized currency that can't be deflated or seized by any authority and has no boundary between borders. It is a model currency for the internet and for the future, maybe somebody will make a derivative coin that has some feature to reduce speculation and we can settle on using that.

We're overdue for a recession. We got lucky in '08. Probably not so much next time. Another Financial Tidal Wave is Coming Soon.

http://www.trunews.com/article/another-financial-tidal-wave-is-coming-soon-get-ready

President Ronald Reagan’s director of the Office of Management and Budget David Stockman said it correctly days ago when he told CNBC, “This is one of the most dangerous market environments we’ve ever been in. It’s the calm before a gigantic, horrendous storm that I don’t think is too far down the road.” Meanwhile, legendary investor Jim Rogers told Business Insider days ago, “Some stocks in America are turning into a bubble. The bubble’s gonna come. Then it’s going to collapse, and you should be very worried.”

Mr. Rogers predicted the crash would happen later this year or 2018. The 74-year-old billionaire said the financial crisis will be the worst in his lifetime. Mr. Bill Gross, also a billionaire, said last week that U.S. markets are experiencing levels of risk at the highest levels since the 2008 financial crisis. The Holy Spirit showed me this mega storm in 1998. It’s been coming in successive waves. A monster-size tidal way is headed our way very soon.
>>
>>129941467
It was fucking called. Look at the market, the volume, the floor, and see how much BTC dumped are needed to crash it 100-200-400-800 dollars.
>bitcoin is highly divisible and can send any amount you want.
Yeah, except now a transaction will cost like 15 fucking dollars. Wasn't bitcoin meant to have a low transaction fee ? Wasn't it also meant for micropayments? How am I going to spend it if yesterday was worth 100 and now it's worth 1000 ? I'm going to keep it... and money is NOT meant to be hoarded, it's meant to be spent.
All the rollercoaster you are seeing now are trading bots, china, and whales trying to fuck up the market.
Bitcoin could be a great thing, but (((someone))) ruined it for all of us.
>>
>>129941467
I bet you are the same leaf that screamed crash and burn a couple month ago on the loonie. Nothing happened , do not get me wrong anything can happen in trading as in life. If you really knew insider information you would already have taken positions to cash in on the move. One day move is nothing to be alarmed about, most likely today's Fed hike took steam out of the cryptocurrency. I do not trade bitcoin , but you sound like the Brexit stay lads shouting about how the pound would burst .

>How terrible it will be for you who long for the day of the Lord! What good will that day do you? For you it will be a day of darkness and not of light. It will be like someone who runs from a lion and meets a bear! Or like someone who comes home and puts his hand on the wall—only to be bitten by a snake! The day of the Lord will bring darkness and not light; it will be a day of gloom, without any brightness. (Amos 5:18-20)

Just imagine if all the fags who sold all the bitcoins when the price dropped from 1 thousands dollars to 250 dollars years ago, instead had hold them. They all could have sold them now by 2400 dollars.

You should only sell all your bitcoins only if a new competidor appears. That can make instantaneous safe transactions and has no transactions limits. And be even more descentralized than bitcoin.

You try to tell dumb fucks this is nothing but a modern day pyramid scheme and tulip mania that's going to zero because any fucking retard can make digital coins and there is nothing backing them and you get ignored.

O'well, when it crashes to zero, at least precious electricity will be conserved for something useful and there will be a glut of discount GPUs to be had.

Every generation needs their own pyramid scheme and subsequent crash to learn their lesson.
>>
>>129958938
>because any fucking retard can make digital coins

Actually, no. It costs a lot of money to mine these coins. It would take you, at the current difficulty of mining, over 1000 years to mine a single coin on a PC. There is a limited number of possible coins that can be mined and when the last one is complete, there wont be more.

search .com , .xyz completed sales https://namebio.com and compare it to the scam that is called buttcoins.

the nips and chinks love .xyz and or investing in domains, they have made it so you can register numbered domains now for 99c cents each and renew even for 99c each year, which is a no brainer. That to me is a lot more safe than buttcoins. It was bound to happen, like I said they would never allow something like this to exist for too long, too easy to exploit. Its like in nature there are apex predators, and that apex predator is the us government, if they see a threat they will take it out, you gotta play nice, not my rules, but that is how the universe works I guess.

The whole "NWO one-world currency" thing is BTC/ETH or whatever comes out afterward that has a group of engineers willing to sell out.

All of our money is a joke, none of it means anything. Just ones and zeros on a server somewhere, the social structure behind it rewards people with credit to buy things and services based on how well you play along with it.

Once it hit ~800 or so I got really fucking depressed and my startup completely fell apart.

It's really hard to deal with the fact that you could have completely self-funded a business you know would end up suceeding.

Now somebody else is taking care of all of that and I only own about ~10% of it, while having no creative or professional input whatsoever.

I used to laugh at the bankers who'd jump off the roof when their portfolios dumped, but now I understand the feeling.

I just tell myself that it's just money, it's just ones and zeros and the amount of those ones and zeros in your possession is really only tied to how much influence you have over your own life. That keeps me going because I don't like being controlled.

Bitcoin only crashed because people thought it was going to crash. It's just like a bank-run. Even if a bank is doing fine, if you make people think it isn't and they all run to it at once to get their money, the bank will shut down. Same with bitcoin. It was doing just fine until congress introduced legislation to try and "regulate" bitcoin, which isn't possible. People thought this would cause bitcoin to fail, so they're all getting out. Everyone trying to get out their bitcoins all at once is causing the crash. If everyone had remained calm, the price would've dipped but it would be alright in the long run once people realized the government's full of shit. But since everyone's panicking like idiots, bitcoin's crashing. It's too late now though, the damage is done and will continue to be done. Get out while you can.

Ok, the question is, "why do you desire to own this?". Most likely, the answer is just "because I can sell it sometimes in the future, as its price will surely be higher".
This is no value. Value is because
>I can buy stuff irl with this
>I buy stuff on the internet
>I can transfer money to anyone with a negligible fee
>I can store it safely
>I can make hard/impossible to steal
>It's hard to manipulate and control
>No central authority
But how many people really use it because of this (apart from traders and investors, whose are just after the money)?

Bitcoin isn't the only coin in town anymore. Smart money will be accumulating litecoin over the next few months. If Bitcoin forks it will crash, but it will come back stronger than ever. if i have $3000 cash today then you would agree that in a few days/weeks i should most likely still be able to buy $3000 worth of goods. it takes a lot longer for it to loose value.

at this time bitcoin does not behave the same way.

$3000 worth of bitcoin can be worth $3500 in a few days or even $2500. that's not stable in the short term.

as a long term investment bitcoin can potentially make you very rich but for now that potential doesn't make it a safer currency than that infinite funny money.

You're retarded. It was worth like $1000 a few months ago, it's still at ~$2500 today, it crashed a few percent today but it has "crashed" many times over the years and always rebounds higher than before.

Most are speculating Bitcoin will eventually reach $10,000+ and I'm inclined to believe that.

Thats kind of good to hear but I don't like when politicians talk about cryptos at all desu.

Crypto will certainly appear on the radar of the more important people the more it grows. Especially when bankers start to feel the missing fiat of yours to speculate with

Because every faggot article has gone through a wordpress plugin that pulls in 11 wikipedia pages to pad out the advertising space
any autists with a brain that understand how to represent data axiomatically and semantically just shit out an overview on this?
Then can anyone else with a brain try and ascribe some motives to the differing ideas? are any of the people on the side of obfuscating stuff?

>finite coin supply means that coins will rise in value till all fiat is in BTC or cryptos in general.

Leading governments will never accept BTC as the crypto of choice considering the governments control so little of it. Plus it would make no sense that something once as speculative as BTC, where some kid might have bought 10,000 coins in 2011 for $50 is now a billionaire just cause. I mean that's what's currently happening, but governments wouldn't support or endorse that position.

If anything the crypto infrastructure is going to be implemented at a federal level with some kind of new program, BTC will become worthless overnight, and there'll be some new federally regulated crypto that kicks things off.

You are right that eventually our current system will switch to crypto, but not to BTC.

Maybe in hundreds of years, not in our life time, and no I don't realize it as a certainty.

Central banks represent the financial power of a country or government, it's not about the dollars and cents, its about the control and the power. I can't imagine a scenario where any influential government anywhere on Earth would desire to see central banks disappear.

They had to cut the Internet off to prevent this.
If they do this they would fall.

There is literal no argument against a decentralized anonymous currency, the more people realize that, the more it will grow, and the stronger it will get.

No they just need to prohibit possession and exchange of specific combination of bytes. They already did this successfully in the past.

>There is literal no argument against a decentralized anonymous currency
Issuing and controlling the money is the most profitable businesses ever. Obviously states want to have monopoly on that. And obviously having monopoly of violence they can have it.

Why do we have governmental bodies? So we can have someone to establish and regulate rules so that we can maintain a peaceful society, these rules being what a collective culture deems to be proficient for their way of life.

It's basically to keep obstructing deviation in line, to keep the peace. If the system doesn't serve the best interest of the people, then that system has no purpose. Even Kings were a part of this concept, and when they didn't do shit right then they lost their power. Because no matter how much they preach about Horus, Zeus or God dragging you down to the abyss for overthrowing the crown a shit leader was a shit leader and disbatched as such.

Therefore, if everybody wants to use crypto-currencey then a bunch of old jews who think they're on mount Olympus while everyone else is goy cattle are angry that their shitty system is no longer needed then tough tits.

Andrew Jackson killed the central bank once, it can be done again.

Figure out an acceptable price point that you'd be willing to cash your chips out at, and make it a reasonable guess.

China manipulates all currency, including BitCoin. If the US govt. outlaws crypto currencies, which I honestly think it will, then this will reduce its intrinsic value.

There will still be countries that will trade BitCoin for currency, but that won't last indefinitely.

tl;dr figure out when you want to bail on crypto currency, then bail & don't look back.
>>
Forget about bit coin you stupid goyim. Trade currencies, its where the real money lies.

Because of the nature of the violence market.

Purpose of the system is maximizing its profits. It may come in hand with prosperity of the people but not always.
