It why when you go to the suburbs of big cities in the US you see everyone driving brand new models of recent cars, in Europe if you are middle class its standard to keep your car for 5 to 10 years which results in plenty of bangers on the roads.

If you think road tax is bad we also have a carbon tax too on the petrol we buy from the pump which is also roughly four times the price you pay per gallon in the US.

Built on the panther platform (used in mercury grand marquis and Lincoln Town cars) they were used by most police departments for a long time and still are in a lot of places. I love em because they're big rwd sedans, which is rare. My other car is a 2001 cadillac seville.
