Do you think legalizing polygamy would improve society or make it worse? I seriously think far more men would get married if they were able to have other options, it would make marriage less of a death sentence for young men in this society, marriage currently has no real benefit for men anymore and I think polygamy would help remedy that by allowing them to continue pursuing women rather than tying them down to a single woman who will totally take advantage of him.

The Sweden Democrats have released a report on rape in Sweden which compiles data from 32 different research papers.

They made use of a Stockholm University criminology institution report from 2011, the parliamentary library's expert search services, as well as the Parliamentary Research Service to find all the 32 reports, published from 1990 to last year, which it considered relevant.

"All of these reports demonstrate that people with a foreign background more often commit rape than Swedes."

The report shows that immigrants excelled in the rape statistics even during the early 80s. Olof Wikström, professor of criminology at the University of Cambridge in Britain, said as early as 1990, half of all those who suspected of rape in Stockholm in 1982 were foreign nationals.

In another report, from 2014, it was found that more than two thirds of the suspected rapists between 2008 & 2009 were foreign nationals and their typical victim was "a young woman of Swedish nationality."

The number increases sharply when you look at Swedish nationals with citizenship from a migrant background.

In 2006 Ann Christine Hjelm, PhD in Law, published a report showing that 85 percent of those who in 2002 were sentenced by the Court of Appeal for at least two years in prison for rape had a foreign background.

Arabs, Africans & Afghans were identified in the report as some of the more problematic immigrant groups. According to a study conducted by the National Council and released in 1996, Arabs from North Africa were 23 times more likely to commit rape than Swedes.

SD is, in its report is highly critical of journalists, politicians and commentators who try to explain away the immigrants heavy over-representation in rape statistics with various socio-economic factors. They warn against trying to sweep the "real rape epidemic under the rug."
