The long exposure ones suck - they just remove detail from the water and make it blurry. The exposure wasn't long enough to get the cool effect you were probably going for.

If it we're me, I'd try my best to distribute the warm bokeh as though you're leading the viewers eye towards the main subject the flower, but...the flower is on the cooler side of white so is the yellow in the flower...if you're trying for realistic colors perhaps just reframe the flower anywhere except the centre such as your first photo. If realism doesn't matter try to keep greens cool and warm up the flower, so it doesn't have to compete with warm bokeh in the background. Imo.

Thanks a lot! I was trying out various gear, the first one was a pretty high quality lens, I was almost able to get a 1:1 magnification ratio. The last picture was done using a deopter, hence the weird circular edge. I think it lends it a rather nice feel so I left it in, and the crop would've been too intense.
