it's pretty blurry which detracts from the image quality, but you can try cropping it so it's more centered and lowering the colour temperature a tad

don't blame the equipment, blame yourself. there are a ton of shit you could've balanced the camera on.
Shine a flashlight on your focus point, focus the camera. Then use a smaller aperture and have a long shutter. that way you pushing the button will less likely fuck up the focus.
learn to work with what you've got and your shots will turn out better.

Looks like it was at f3.5. The smaller the number, the larger the aperture is. When it's wide open like that you're letting in more light, but your lens isn't performing it's best. That guy was suggesting going to maybe f5.6. You let in less light (bigger number -> smaller aperture) but you get a sharper image. You'll definitely not want to be holding the camera in your hands for that, though.
Anyway, I like it.

That is a start, but you didn't resize and it's not in focus and it isn't framed or lit very nicely. Aside from being weak technically, there's just no story here. There's just some blurry blank wall for a background and nothing else about the photo tells me anything about who this man is or what he does or what about him caught your interest or why I should be interested in looking at a picture of him.
Keep trying, take lots of pictures. The technical aspects will probably sort themselves out as you get more experienced, but also have some sort of goal in mind so that you can make photos that are interesting.
