The strong saturation with the color contrast and rule of thirds brings attention to the cliffs which are dull and boring. The surfer's sight guides into the void and the board is hidden. Isn't it obvious to have a lot of tension by clearly relating the surfer to a single outstanding wave with nothing more in the perspective?

I get what your doing but if you would have shot from that left marble rail aiming a for that wall between the glass ceiling and the doorway you would have captured more.

As is its not doing anything for me, unless I crop the forground rail and even then Its not as good as your other shots.

Like I said, optically the M is better, but not by a whole lot. Having owned both I'd also argue the build quality of the M feels better, just my opinion though.
