I checked her channel and holy shit this was awful.
They butchered her gun to "enhance" it. That dude
chopped the stock in half and put that foldable abomination
on it, which looks like some middleschooler's
workshop project. She then tries telling us that the
changable sights are good for a survival gun and in
the same breath explains how she has to zero it after

It is one thing to lol at safety practices developed by guys sitting behind desks with "Safety Manager" titles, but a good bit of basic chainsaw safety was worked out by actual cutters on logging crews.

There are lots of weak cutters out there but on the good crews I've worked none of them blew that shit off. They used their brakes, watched the tree more than their saw, sleeved their chain, kept their actions with the saw very intentional, etc. Of course they knew what they were doing unlike this guy, but all the more reason for him to adhere to basic safety since it looks like his First Day.

Those are good points but giving shit to people for not wearing gloves pants etc. The only safety gear I appreciate is a helmet, the rest bullshit. Also brakes are overrated, they are good in case of kickback but you shouldn't keep them on all the time. You have to be incompetent to cut yourself just holding a saw or starting it.
Yes it did happen to me one of the first times I was in the woods, I cut my pants and the chain scratched my leg while I was resting the saw on my leg. But I don't blame it on not using the brake but on my lack of attention, and it never happened again.
Just always be aware where your bar is. Another safety hazard is a dull chain as it will make you push down on the saw and that is a bad habit. Not only is bad for the engine and wastes fuel, but you can lose control of the saw and it will make a mess of your flesh. A good chain will pull itself in the wood and you don't have to apply force.

oh wow I hadn't thought of that thanks m8. it's not like gaining weight takes forever and is super fucking uncomfortable all the time. going from 115lbs to 130lbs is a huge gain, and I'm only at 120lbs right now. If I go hiking, I'll burn more calories than I'm taking in and my weight will slide back. You can only eat so much food in a day, not to mention it's frustrating day in and day out having to constantly force yourself to eat even when you're full or not hungry, making you feel bloated and tired all the time. gaining a pound a week doesn't sound like much but it takes a lot if you're not used to eating a lot, or eating and then throwing up afterwards, or both.

if you're throwing up while eating at a 20%~ caloric surplus you're eating the wrong food. you're 54kg, idk how tall you are but you need to eat what like 2500 calories a day to gain weight? you can get 1000 calories from a 3 cup smoothie. if you're tall and really skinny you can get like 25% of your calories from good fats.

i was 55kg at my skinniest also and am now 75kg - i' was on and off bodybuilding in between those figures for about 2 years but when i was on it i gained 1 pound a week easily.

i assume you're eating filling but not caloric dense foods like chicken, fish and certain carbs.

the problem with calorie dense foods is that they sit super heavy in my stomach. Not to mention my doctor specifically said not to count calories, and instead to focus on eating with regularity. Since you've gone through this, are there any foods you'd reccomend? Chicken and fisch have been my goto foods for meals, but sometimes I'll have some pig although not too often. Are there better meats for gaining weight?

beef is good for gaining weight, i buy a 10% fat one which has about 21g of protein to 10g of fat per serving, a good balance.

i'm not saying chicken is bad, i have chicken everyday with my pre-cooked meals, but i have it with veges and brown rice. i only get around 500 calories from it and it digests pretty quickly.

go for eggs, yoghurt, homemade oat bars with whey, peanut butter and berries, oats mixed with milk and yoghurt in the fridge for 1 hour, cheese, peanut butter, whole wheat bread, pastas, potatoes, peanut butter, coconut oil, protein powder.

an easy way to get 400 extra calories in is to just add 2 tbps of coconut oil (not the liquid version, get the refined solid like version) and 2 tbps of natural peanut butter to your smoothie, blend it for a good 3 mins to dissolve the oil texture and put it in a freeze for an hour. thats like 80% fat, but its good fat.

good sleep schedule is important, if its up and down your meals can be inconsistant. you may skip a meal because you stayed up late but you want to go to bed early etc. spread out your meals and follow the schedule - eat breakfast 1hr after weaking up, snack inbetween, eat lunch 4 hours later, etc. have your high calorie smoothie before you go to bed, you will most likely still wake up with room for breakfast.

food prep is also good, make 3-4 days worth of meals in advance so you always have something to eat at lunch/dinner. this is how i gained weight - when i didnt have pre-cooked meals I would just scrap things together like shitty frozen meals, sandwiches and snacks.

then i would have like grilled flattened chicken breasts and jacket potatoes and salad or tuna melts when i got tired of coddle or bolognese

but i think starting to execise a little and working up to more is the best way to gain weight, you don't feel like you are forcing yourself to eat
