Kind of /out and /k related, as I use my hunting rifles for food and my smaller calibre ones for target practice.

So out of curiosity, how many rifles do you /out/siders own?

I've got:

10/22
remy 700 in .223
norc sks
savage 116 in 30-06
ruger scout in 308
No.4 mk1 in 303
mossberg 500 12GA

pic somewhat related

So far I just own a 22lr Cz 455 thumbhole.
Got it mostly for plinking and some small game hunting down the line.

Pic related, not mine though.

Now I'm looking to invest in a beretta shotgun in 12GA and a Tikka T3 in .308.

Just my levers and pumps and still missing a few, Savage M99 in .308 and Marlin M1895 in .45-70 not present.
>>
I have one shotgun for hunting. Rem 870 express super magnum. Want to get a rifle too eventually.
>>
Good morning Mr. NSA

I only own the firearms for which I received a background check and which were purchased through a FFL, which you already have on file for me.

I own no others.

Have a nice day Mr NSA

I hope your informal gun registry goes well

Cool thread anon, my modest but excellent collection:

Savage MKII BRJ 22lr Vortex Crossfire 2-7 - tack driver grouse and hare hunter

Savage 64G 22lr iron sights - accurate plinker but mag feed is too unreliable for hunting

Browning BPS Hunter 12ga with 26" barrel - both upland and waterfowl hunting and skeet/sporting clays (pic related)

Browning X-bolt Hunter .308 Win Zeiss Conquest 3-9 - big game hunting

I'd really like to add a 20ga O/U or SxS for upland.
Also a lever 30-30 with irons for big game in tight bush would be nice (but pretty low on my wishlist)

I don't support mandatory government long gun registries but if I want to voluntarily post some info, who the fuck cares.

If you were legitimately concerned about your privacy you wouldn't be on the Internet at all much lest posting to 4chan. topkek anon, topkek

It's not /k/ related until you have a nugget.
>>
>>666321
Tikka T3s are so nice IMO. The bolts are super smooth, and they have to shoot 5 shots MOA before leaving the factory.
>>
>>666214
Go away Mr. ATF, your not tricking me that easily...

Kidding but I have more than two guns is all I ever tell anyone and if they ask more questions I just talk about the non black ones and just the fudd funs as to not reveal my power level.
>>
>>666562
Everyone fucks off to /k/,that's the problem.
>>
>>666908
Tikka T3's Are great and also affordable bolt guns.

I have a stainless tacticallove it, but damn...250.00for a 10 round metal mag?

Look, I'm not trying to be a soldier or anything but my leather mag pouch can hold two of ghem do buying two extra mags should be more than enough but at 500 dollars I can almost buy another rifle.
>>
>>666486
If it's the gubment you're worried about I'm not American so my shotgun is already in a police register.
If it's thieves you're worried about, well then I can tell you it's not gonna happen.

>>
>>666214
In terms of sporting guns, I only have a 10/22 right now, and a k31 if you want to count it.

Been meaning to buy a nice Beretta or a Benelli for clay shooting and upland hunting but just never got around to it, plus tactical guns just kept taking up all of my funds...
>>
>>666498
oy vey,

no one is coming for your guns goyim, there's no reason to live in fear, just sign this registry showing what guns are in your house.

the police will be by later to confirm and inventory your registry.

thank you goyim

I wonder what Europeans and Australians use to protect themselves from animals possible bandits out in the wild...if you can't have a gun, is it legal to have a knife, machete or axe?

I suppose you could lash a knife to a stick and make s short spear.

Or a sling?

Be a hobbit and throw rocks at orcs?
>>

How it works in Norway: I generally can't carry a weapon in public, that includes outdoor areas. Exceptions are off course when we use the guns for hunting. Hunting is seasonal for the most part, most hunting is done in the autumn with a few exceptions like boars, they can be hunted all year long. So potentially, someone who hunts boars can be armed every time he goes /out/. Another exception is places with bears. There are a high amount if bears in certain places, and occationally someone shoots a bear in self defense. You can carry for self defense there.
In Svalbard they also don't underestimate the threat from Polar Bears, afaik they carry guns everywhere up there, at all times.
As for bad guys in the woods, it's not something you need to worry about in this part of the world. I might carry protection in other parts of the world though, if that's how the locals do it.

All tools like axes, machetes, knives etc. are of course legal in the woods because they are considered tools not self defense weapons. Police would only react if you carried those things in urban and suburban areas and you were not using them for work.

That's basically how the laws are but as most human beings, europeans also bend or break rules. While I haven't heard of many people who carry weapons for self defense in the woods, I know people bring them just for fun and to do some shooting.
>>
>>666498

There's being scared and there's being discrete.

I have no need to share my personal firearm inventory details on a supposedly anonymous message board.
>>
>>667073
Then why post at all if you're just going to pooh-pooh it. If you really think that someone is collecting data on who owns what guns from this message board then surely you realize that saying "nice try NSA" or a derivative would get you onto a list anyways.

If you're not American you can be drone'd indiscriminately. Here in the U.S. it's still illegal for the military to operate on our soil (for now).
>>
>>667087
Yes, I agree guns are for show and their presence alone deters all but the most determined attackers.

For a second I thought Marines, Air force and Army members were going down the streets.
>>
>>667103
I agree the cops are militarized but they can't operate weaponized drones (yet)
>>
>>667093
My country has laws and a constitution that prevent the military from being used against our citizens.

They aren't use to enforce laws, riots or anything because we don't want our military and civilians clashing.
The exception is counter terror, so.. don't be a terrorist I guess.

OP here...not nsa. I'm canadian. Theres hardly any firearm talk on k drspite the fact they they're /out/ related
>>
>>668066

>hardly any firearm talk
>on /k/

Uh?
>>
>>668089
Only about a dozen people on /k/ actually have guns and have decent discussions about firearms.

Most are threads are started either by under age kids pretending they have guns, foreigners who live in gun ban nations and pretend they have guns or it's /a/ threads simply posting anime girls with guns or simply and mostly anti gun trolling by tumbler liberals. and raids by /b/ and /pol/ pretending to be retarded racist /k/ posters copy pasting troll topics.

It's like how /co/ really just another porn board, even better than /aco/ which was made for western comic and cartoon porn.
>>
>>667843
I think you're just backpedaling now. You think "If you're not American you can be drone'd indiscriminately".

Get a fucking grip. Many countries have a working legal system, rule of law etc. that you aren't even aware of. My country doesn't even operate drones with offensive capabilities, I've only seen them use surveillance drones.
>>
>>666562
/k/ is the only reason you have an /out/ board to pollute with your smell air hippy.
>>
Pistols:
S&W 9mm of some type
Remington R1
S&W Model 29-10 .44 mag

Shotguns:
Ithaca 37 12g
Remington 1100 20g

Rifles:
M98 made in 1916
Winchester 94 30-30
GAP-10 with a Steiner 5-25x56 with a MSR reticle

>>
>>>/k/

There you go OP, there is a whole board devoted to firearms and weapons.
>>
>>668686
This is true.

The founders of /out/ and it's supporters were from /k/ who wanted to talk more about camping gear and bush craft...which is /k/ related, but wanted more focus and also talk about outdoor sports like fishing.

Hunting is still /k/ related, but they tend to prefer talking about military, police and self defense weapons.
>>
>>668803
>camping gear and bush craft...which is /k/ related
no
most /k/ommandos don't even know what bushcraft is
>>

Natural predators always go for the young or old.

Better that the sexually mature keep producing, the young and old are easily replaced.
>>
>>668013

That deer was an old spike. Old bucks don't grow full racks. Was hunting for meat anyways, not a trophy. He tastes good.
