I think the first one I met was Emerald City Comicon. I don't remember a whole lot about him other than he didn't look like he exercised much, he smelled kinda bad and he complained a lot about "poser" nerd girls. The others I mostly met through gamer/comics friends and acquaintances. I didn't dedicate a whole lot of mental bandwidth on them because they were pretty uninteresting people.

you know dick had a lifetime of experience behind him. Chris really didn't. I admire that he took life by the balls like he did but he should have paced himself a little in testing himself. I think he had the typical young person I'm invincible attitude. With Dick very few uncalculated risks were taken and things were thought out. He waited until he was like 50 to do what he did. I think for pure attitude chris is the winner. He had to go his own way and embraced it early in his life. I he was alive now he'd probably have a lot of knowledge. But he died in a bus stupidly. Dick did his thing for something like 30 years so he wins in terms of succeeding in living the life. I sometimes wonder what would have happened if mccandles read about dick and decided to go visit him and learn from him instead of going solo. I feel like they'd relate on the basic level. Kind of like us. We all have different experience but I think we could appreciate the like minded company once in a while.
