My pet rabbit just died. I know people get their pets stuffed by taxidermists so I figured I should be able to turn it into a hat or gloves or something. I don't want to do any of the dirty work myself for obvious reasons. Does anyone know how to find services to process the animal into clothing? Is this even legal? My google fu is not strong enough to find useful results. Posting from Rhode Island btw.

Is be shocked if one rabbit were enough for what you want

Thanks for the response. Was thinking maybe a trapper hat. Seems like she has enough fur.
>>
Why don't you eat your rabbit?
That's what I'd do.

Old rabbit tastes bad. Gotta get them young.

On a related note, I had a friend bring me op's pic home from Ukraine. So cash.

>>1030484
It's the skin that you wear, not the meat. You can do both. Fuck sake, man.
>>
>>1030484
idk, would you eat your pet cat?
Well regardless, I wouldn't.

OP there and here,

She's 5 btw. Probably old related to rabbits used for food. Not opposed to eating rabbit necessarily, just not this one.

Posted there too. Sorry if off topic, and if so mods can delete of course; but I think we both know /out/ is likely to be far more knowledgeable on the subject.

I'm allergic to cats so i would not have one in the first place. Also they are literally useless. I have a dog i use for hunting. In a survival situation i would mos def kill my dog and eat him.

>can't into google

Fucking off troll. It's not exactly difficult to google shit on how to skin a rabbit. Yes yes I'm sure you'll bring out all the shocked animal lovers or whatever. Kys

lol you're soo salty for no reason.

I'm not interested in skinning this animal myself as it was a beloved pet.

I've tried searching for a service but haven't found anything. Called several taxidermists, but they don't do this kind of work nor do they know people who do.
