Hopefully this is the right place for this, since last year at about this same time, i've been anxious about Thunderstorms, i've gotten a little better about it, but i'm tired of still being a bit of a little bitch about it, any advice for not being anxious about them anymore?

What makes you anxious about it?

i don't really know, i used to have a phobia of them when i was little, it went away for awhile and it returned last year for no reason, when i heard there was a possibility of one i'd get all anxious, the one time we actually got one last year i didn't even care about it, thought it was kinda cool actually, but i still get a little anxious when i hear about them being possible

It's really hard to fix the problem if you don't know what's causing it. Is it the danger it represents, or the actual sound and visual atmosphere?
Thunderstroms awe me more than scare me. Maybe if you saw them as they really are you'd appreciate them more.

I think to be honest if you want help figuring it out you're gonna need to splash some psych cash, however, my advice would be to stay outside, somewhere safe of course, in one, and force yourself through it.
I'm terrified of water since I nearly drowned as a kid, I'm still scared of water but it doesn't have any real control over me since I went to the sea every day for about a week and forced myself to hold my head under the water.
