you can get /g/-approved x230 for $200, it has hd3000 which is shit for vidya but should be enough to play couple of oldies. it also won't short itself and burn like certain other laptop did because it's not some crappy lowest consumer end.

i don't think so, those games are on different platforms. the only reason to close gt5 servers was because gt5 was legitimately better game than gt6, and so no one was buying it. gt sport consumers and gt6 consumers overlap, but they're not the same group, many people with ps3 haven't got ps4. 29 is good enough but you will find it is not the smoothest, and the FFB deadzone in the center of travel can be frustrating. These flaws are carried over from the G27.

If you accidentally flip the PS3/PS4 switch, the wheel will cease working until it is unplugged and plugged back in. Sometimes it just decides it doesn't wanna work, but that's rare. I had one shit out on me, called up Logitech who sent me a replacement, and the original started working again.

The wheel rim is not totally securely attached to the hub, there is a lot of radial runout where the wheel is secure on the hub but it can be see-sawed left and right. If you have a tendency to pull on the wheel under braking you will notice it creaks quite a lot.

Button legends will fade off quickly, the blue visual guide is actually a piece of badly-painted silver aluminum that will peel, and the shifter is a separate $50 component.

On the other hand the button layout is great, the pedals are nice (i like the brake damper after it gets worn in a bit), and it usually works more-or-less reliably with every game. Because of the buttons, it is an excellent wheel for use with emulators.

It's about time one of you fucks make an XFG Kaido racer skin for LFS.

if sequential guy clutchless shifting can damage the dog clutches
if clutch killer then slipping the clutch when downshifting @ high rpm(which you most likely will be doing when racing) will almost certainly reduce the service life quite noticeably. if you just downshift and hop off the clutch you will upset the car and can cause a loss of control
