Well there's Gundam Versus in September and Gundam Breaker 3 Break Edition just came out, which includes all four DLC packs on disc. It's also available for Vita but I don't recommend it, the frame rate is garbage on Vita. It's buttery smooth on PS4 though.

I've been doing UberEats and Postmates deliveries and figure it wouldn't be so bad to be on the road all the time. I really can't do any other job, because I can't interact with people for extended periods of time. I'm a (undiagnosed) schizoid, so being alone in a truck for weeks at a time seems nice.

I already drive a manual transmission pickup truck on a regular basis, but I've never driven such a large vehicle before. Also, I haven't driven with a normal trailer either. Is it relatively easy for someone to learn? I've heard that it can cost up to $6k to get a CDL and other certifications needed, but also there are companies who would pay for these expenses if you sign up with them. Are they worth it? I figure they make up the money by not paying you as much, so should I just put these costs onto a credit card and sign up with a company that will pay me more? What's scheduling like? Is it possible to drive mainly at night? I'm a nightowl and feel much better when I can sleep during the day. I know eventually trucking will be automated by self-driving vehicles, but it looks like that's still going to be quite some time down the road. Plus there's a deficit of qualified drivers at the moment and it seems like it'd be easy to get in while I still can. It seems like I wouldn't have too many personal bills and I could save up quite a bit of money before the AI trucks take over. Hopefully by then, I can invest what I have saved up and live off passive income.

Any other tips for someone thinking about getting into this career path?

That said, aim for a recognizable company - Swift, Prime, and Schneider all get a lot of flak for being 'puppy mill' companies, but the true shitters are companies like CR England, CRST, and a handful of others that aren't coming to mind. Nine times out of ten, a smaller, locally-owned-and-operated 'Mom and pop' company will be your best bet.

But to add to that, steer clear of roadmaster, when I went through swift academy, and we took our tests at the DMV 3/5 passed everything, the other 2 passed the second try. Roadmaster had the same number of students there, 1/5 passed the first time and I was told 3 failed the second. Plus they used much older equipment. Their truck was like 7 years older than our road truck. Found out their students were paying ~6500 compared to our 4400.

Trucking isn't as solitude filled as movies and tv make it out to be though.

You'll still have to deal with lots of people throughout the day: Shippers, receivers, cashiers, truck stop personnel, mechanics, terminal staff, company managers, dispatchers, etc. law enforcement, scale house operators, and others drivers to name a few.


Ask yourself these questions before seriously considering trucking:

>Do I mind being alone for long periods of time if solo driving?
>Am I able to put up with being in very close proximity to another person while team driving/training for up to six weeks or so?
>Am I okay with living in a small space for possibly weeks at a time?
>Am I able to sleep in a noisy, moving vehicle?
>Am I able to put up with potentially being mistreated by shippers, recievers, terminal staff or other drivers?
>Am I able to keep effective time management considering I generally have to cram a lot of non driving personal activities including sleep within a ten hour span?
>Do I like driving enough to do it for 13 hours a day?
>Am I able to stay awake and focused enough to stay safely on the roads for that long?

>Am I mechanically inclined enough to perform minor maintenance on the truck/trailer if needed?
