For a racer on the PS3 that really did maintain a solid 60 f/s, you need Wipeout HD. The tradeoff there was that it dynamically adjusts the resolution to maintain the frame rate.

While there's a downtime in sunday series, and since some of the kids organizing the 99 LM race haven't even played heckin rFactor and still think GTR2 is a more competent multiplayer game, we're doing a 2.4 hr "endurance" event around Spa.
Cars are conversions from GTR2's vanilla content so really good. Track is a conversion from GTR2 so really good too.

remove the borders on the driver chart and instead only use them to denote columns separation, as seen on the OVGTP doc. Full borders is too busy and very uncomfortable eye-wise.

Having played both GT6 and AS, the LQ interiors don't bother me as much as I thought they would. I don't know about you guys, but I spend my time racing looking at the track in front of me and not the lovely detailed interiors vents.

First, they're not simply "LQ", they literally do not exist. There is no interior, it's just a black texture. Second, the real problem is the fact that when you're in the cockpit view in a standard car, I don't even feel like I'm in a fucking car, I feel like a floating, completely static camera inside a car with a black texture as an """interior""". Okay so as it turns out you can't really replicate the GT1 RM Viper in GT6. Can't lower weight enough and base horsepower is higher.
So I ended up with the following proposition;
Viper GTS '02
No oil change (448 BHP)
Stage III weight reduction
Window weight reduction
Carbon Bonnet (body colour)
Fully Customizable Suspension because the default ride height is wayyy too high
Sports Medium
Ends up at 559 PP, 448 BHP, 1255 KG.
GT1 RM Viper is 440 BHP at 984 KG.

even if he's rude af, he is right in theory at least. when i got home i must have watched my lap 20 times over and compared it to a faster lap from one of the other competitors and it was pretty clear where i was losing time. like for example although there's no grippy line through the first chicane and both of us got sideways on exit, he just drove straight towards the outside of the long left-hander where there was better grip while i was wasting time trying to point the car in towards the apex.

it all seems obvious now looking at the onboard but everything is easier in hindsight when your arms don't hurt, your feet aren't damp and you're at home blogging on /ovg/. in practice nothing beats experience, so while i'm not disappointed that i didn't prove myself as the next amx verstappen after ~12 minutes of wet running, it is disappointing that i won't know when i'll next get the chance to hop behind the wheel of a racecar again and try and improve. to my credit though, my times were consistently improving through the session (except for my secret lines moment) so at least there's that.

anyway time to focus on my next challenge: mario kart tournament. those normies don't know what they've got coming to them.

Anyone have an idea what my problem might be? My G27 will only work without the H-shifter plugged in. When the H-shifter is plugged in the buttons will work but there is no green LED and once I join a race the wheel, pedals, shifter will all completely cut out and stop working after about 30 seconds of racing.

I've tried 2 different shifters and tested it on PS3 and AC for PC.
