No
Im about to take this thing to a shop
>>17350292
Easy thing to check, but the clean up would be messy (just pull the bleed valve off altogether).
I'd start with bleeding the MC, just fill up the reservoir and pump the lever and see if there isn't a bubble that got in when you bled the right caliper. If that doesn't do it, you crack the bleed nipple off. If you don't get brake fluid everywhere doing that, you look at the line next. Good luck.

>>17350297
you could remove the caliper in question.
given you got the tool to push the pistons back of course.
If it really works that means the line is okay and its really the valve.
which means you need to remove it and see if it can be fixed by cleaning.
this will of course mean youll have to remove the brake fluid.
>>17350326
Put a pin in the bleed hole.
its obviously blocked up.

KTM is first of all expensive to run and expensive to fix.
Its also very performance oriented.
>>17350352
This desu, most KTMs are race bikes unless they were made in a poo land
>>17350352
The 690 is pretty middle of the road, not too shocking on maintenance or anything, but probably way too much torque for a beginner. They're a popular stunt bike for that, you add two teeth to the rear and it's good to go.

So, I was checking your suggestion and the Daytona thing looks good for a 4000 euros bike (used). Any main difference between the 600 and 675?
Do you guys feel like your Baiku has "moods" as well?
Like some days it just seems to not wanna run, the exhaust sounds weird, seems to be unstable in corners and it vibrates to much on high RPMS.
Other days everything seems slick and smooth and it almost feels to perfect.
Im sure its all subconscious projection but it seems so real.
>>17350518
the 600 has 75cc less and a cylinder more.
>>17350523
No, it is a machine that you project your own feelings onto

>>17350518
The 600 was a short run and not very popular, I've never heard anything bad about it but I think the poor reception was due to it being just another 600 i4, which is a pretty full class. The 675 though is an i3 and been a favorite nearly every year since it was released.

I never got this. I understand that the Gixxer 750 means a lot to Suzuki but the fact that they sell both that and the 600 simultaneously is beyond me.
If they are so keen on keeping the 750 why not just make it a god damned twin and be done with it?

Looking good.
First impression coming from a ninja 500:
>holy shit it's fast (even in b mode)
>it's loud (stock)
>it gets toasty
I wouldn't call it comfortable, but it's better in some areas and worse in other areas. On my 500 my crotch and ass are pinched, not sure why, probably because of how narrow the tank is. On the 750 my lower back gets sore but that's pretty much it. Easy on the cock 'n balls. Also the break-in period is more annoying than I thought.
>>17350667
>why not make it worse so it won't sell it all?
The question is, why not embrace the future, discontinue the 600, and market the 750 harder with more option packages?
US riders tend to just get a fast-ass sportbike or a fat-ass cruiser and leave it at that, so offering a single fast-ass sportbike with option packages for street/touring (higher bars, seat, luggage mounts, GPS/phone mount), track (adjustable rearsets and performance exhaust, lap timer, etc), and so on would be a brilliant move over offering a fast-ass sportbike and a slightly less fast sportbike that are pretty much the same.
>>17351449
You do understand any 100lb lighter bike with comparable torks is 30-50% more expensive before you even start buying said accessories right? It's comparing it to a Ninja 1000 as a touring bike where things get iffy.

>get to side stand cutoff switch
>look up manual to determine exactly how it's supposed to behave for the 2005 sv650s
I need someone to double check that I'm getting this straight.
Please forgive my autism in advance.
The pic shows the manual's instructions to the left and my interpretation to the right. Color is used to match instructions between the two. Things that aren't explicitly in the manual but that I've inferred use red font and question marks.
>CLAIM 1
If ANY of the top three controls do not match the image, the bike should not start. Doing this tells you nothing about the health of the side stand cutoff.
>CLAIM 2
Each black box at the bottom contains one possible permutation of the bottom two controls. All permutations are shown; no additional permutations are possible.
>CLAIM 3
To prove that the side stand cutoff works, it is necessary and sufficient to try starting the bike four times, each time setting the top three controls as shown and the bottom two controls according to one of the four black boxes. If the bike's behavior matches the box's label all four times, the side stand cutoff works. Otherwise, it doesn't work.
