My civic which was fucked yesterday is at the dealership.

They gave me a loaner white 2017 civic LX. It's eeeeh ok I guess. No sunroof or gadgets. 2.0L engine sounds so different when you're used to the turbo engine.

Closest to the euro we got in the us was the cl sport from what I understand. They are comfy.
Millage is about average for a v6 at 35mpg hwy.

Is it worth it to do the work to change the synchro for one gear? My 4th gear synchro is bad and grinds when you go straight from 3rd to 4th. Have to go into neutral, let the rpms drop down to 0, change gears, then rev match so it doesn't grind.

I really want to get into tuning and also have an easy to mod car, so I've been looking at the 1999 Honda prelude type sh. It's my favorite Honda body and it has lots of mod kits, but that's pretty much all I know about it. Any anons here drive it? Is there a better year? Not worth it? I'm having trouble finding the AC and PS adjusters for the pumps. the d series ones I had didn't have the right adjustment plus they mounted differently. on the plus side I got my boost controller mounted, alternator mounted, most of my wiring installed, rebuilt my distributor with new OEM honda parts (the best)

I'm looking for a reliable coupé that gives decent mileage and possibility of modification. I've looked at Accords, Civics, Preludes, Legends and Integras for weeks now and they all look like good options to my untrained eye. Legend would probably be the least reliable and working on a fwd v6 isn't very easy for a beginner. Any 90s Honda 4 cylinder with a manual are all about even in terms of reliability.

I'm a colossal faggot and I'm thinking of importing a RHD civic or integra with a b16 AUTOMATIC. I'm already lousy at driving stick with my right hand so I don't think I'd do any better with my left.

Anyway what tuning problems would I run into? I would want to turbo it eventually and I don't mean problems like charge or exhaust pipes not fitting exactly because its RHD, I mean tuning as in ECU shit. Could I tune an automatic JDM edu using neptune or some shit?

Hey guys, what's the general consensus on respraying? Basically, I know a guy who runs a body shop and could get me a decent respray for a few hundred bucks. I haven't decided on a color or if I even want to do it. I was thinking maybe gray, or white.
One thing to note is the picture doesn't show how awful my current paint is. Plus, I'd be able to get my bumper to match the car!

Kiiiinda. Previous owner put them in. I think you're supposed to put EG hatch/coupe seat rails on them but I think they still have Del Sol rails. They only bolted in with 3/4 bolts. Passenger seat is wobbly. The difference between my stock EG seats in my sedan vs these is night and day. Way more head room, sitting close to the ground, and much more bolstering.
