Hi guys, I can't read maps so i am getting a GPS for my bike. It's so much more convenient and easier than a map!

I've also swapped my old bike in for a scooter, the automatic transmission is so much more convenient and easier than a manual bike!

And now i've found a new bull to fuck my wife, it's so much easier and more convenient than fucking my wife every Saturday like we have been doing, it saves me almost 3 minutes every week! this is even easier than just being a premature ejaculatory, which i am by choice becasue it's easier and more convenient!

How to correctly learn to ride a bike, by youtube

first, get a minimum 600cc bike, preferably a brand new bike owned by somebody else. the more expensive the better

then put on a helmet if you feel like it. you're fine without other gear trust me

find a nice open area with some new cars

once you get the bike into first, head directly for either an expensive car or a tree

congratulations! you just rode a bike!

Kymco's scooter are honestly really good.

Scooters have two weaknesses. Hills and small wheels, Kymco manages to solve the wheels by putting full sized wheels on many of their scoots

Their engines are solid and reliable, and they have really good build quality, and they make scooters that are not only capable of high speeds but are actually good to ride at high speeds.

Better to go with 1000cc if you're responsible enough. You don't want a bike you'll get bored with quick.

I'm looking to test ride a VFR1200x this week. The main concern I have is servicing, since I've heard the VFR platform in general is quite expensive and complicated. Can any of you comment on this issue?
I test rode an FJ-09 and really enjoyed that, but I'm curious to see what a shaft-drive bike is like.

Return them. You don't need the distraction.
If you won't buy from a store at least try some on in a store.

I'm not much of a sporty rider; I value being comfy quite a lot more, especially being close to 2 metres tall. I want a little of the urgency of a sports bike, but more for the comfort of having power available instead of thrashing it every day.
With you on the tyres, though. First thing I'd do is off with the Dumflops and get some Bridgestone T30s or Pirelli Angel GTs.

sup /dbt/ I have an er5 for about 2 years now, I want to move up. My gf got into riding and wants to buy the er5 off of me. I have about 7k eurobucks. I am looking at a dorsoduro 750, smc 690 r or 796 hypermotard
>lel supermoto tax
>''supermoto'' pigfat bikes
My insurance offers me massive discount if I get one with ABS. It's like ~64 euros per month without ABS, and ~15 with ABS. Thoughts on dem bikes? Suggestions? A2 limited, so max 35 kW (48 hp) and 0,2 kW/kg. Can restrict bikes up to 70 kW (96 hp)
>>

With me on it my bike is about 350kg. I can't go lower than 3th gear in the mud without just spinning my rear tire.
Didn't have much grip though, on the end of that little road I tried to brake, overshot the corner like 2 metres.

For a tire that isn't known to be that off-road oriented it keeps up pretty well.

Today i was riding a bike for the first time in my life (pic related) and i stared off smooth but when i put in second gear bike started to jerk hard. It doesn't happen at all in first gear. Question is: is it because i can't ride a bike or there is something wrong with it?

Some bikes are clunky from first into second., and from second into first when braking and downshifting. Did it do this with every gear, or only 1st -> 2nd? In case of the latter, it's probably just clunkiness that most bikes have for that gear change. You *could* try it at various speeds, like, slowly into neutral and then into second to see if you're not shifting too fast or using too much force.

i like bikes with side radiators, because despite the heat shielding the fairings get just warm enough to heat your legs up on cold days.

Unless it's an airtight seal around the pipes you're still going to get a fuckload of warm air dissipating on your nuts and chest.

Already got a ninja. Selling it. Brit with an A2 licence. Was looking at gs500 as it's cheaper to maintain, insure and I'm super tall so it's a nicer riding position. Also considering the KLE500 but it presents same cost issues as the ninja 250 does.

just a 125, haven't decieded on anything yet, if new it's between a ys125 and a cb125f for thos mpgs. Outside of medieval armoury, 'gauntlets' are just the subset of gloves with a longer wrist.
>>
>>17051209
>In function I mean, which one is best?
I take it you're talking about keeping your hands from becoming stumps. Gauntlets because they go up a bit farther than gloves and give your wrist and lower part of your hand more protection.

I still wear gloves though because on hot days my gauntlets get really sweaty
>>
>>17051228
yeah I know, what I mean is wich design is better and why

>>17051209
I have both gauntlets and gloves and hate my gloves. Pretty much no reason to wear them over my gauntlets.

I sit bolt upright at all times. I'm usually not riding sportbike fast anyway.

>no license or car or bike
>getting license and bike and gear would run me close to a whole semester of my student loan money

I've been looking at Suzuki Intruders lately, the 125CC ones. What do you guys think? Anything else I should look for? Ideally I'd go for a bike older than 30 years old, because then insurance and taxes for it would be a lot lower because it counts as a "veteran bike".

I looked in the sticky and read up on what motorcycling entails, and I think it's for me. Mostly looking for something to commute to uni with, getting tired of riding a fucking unicycle and train because I'm too poor to get another monthly ticket for a normal bicycle.

>>
>>17051270
Do the CBT, ride a cheap 125 for a bit. If you like it, /then/ decide whether to go for the A2 and up to A in two years, or just wait to get the A direct.

>Ideally I'd go for a bike older than 30 years old, because then insurance and taxes for it would be a lot lower because it counts as a "veteran bike".

Insurance will not change (you're a new rider, it will be expensive for anything), and tax on even a brand new 125 is fuck-all. Getting a very old bike will be a money pit of headaches to actually run. Don't do that as your first bike.

I'm from Norway, everything is taxed to all hell here. Our capital city is ruled by green communists. Also, I'm quite sure that insurance would be lower. Depending on the initial insurance costs, I could just have my dad legally own it, which I'm pretty sure is legal here. I know that it doesn't work quite like that in the UK though. My brother did it with his truck, which more than halved the insurance for it.

Also, I thought old bikes would be easier to maintain? Less newfangled technology to keep track of? Also, we don't have CBT here, only A1 or the moped one (I'm not desperate enough to get a moped, and it'd be a hassle because no highway). A1 limits you to maximum 125CC and 15Kw, which seems a bit silly when I could just go for the A2 straight away.

Also, buying new anything is probably out of the question. I don't have enough money for that.

Spainfag here, idk if in other yuro countries it is like this too but: with a 3-year-old car license you can drive a 125 no problem.

I bought a Kawasaki Eliminator 125 last november and love it to bits, ride it everyday to work/uni; chicks dig the look and dirt cheap insurance (150 yuro with antitheft) and taxes (7 euros lol). Only drawback is that it's SLOOWWWW (downhill I've managed 120 kph).

RN looking to get the A2, dad has a BMW GS that is limited for A2 on paper but has the full 70~ hp available. If I can't get my hands on it, I'll probably buy a shitbike CB500 or something for ~2k yuros cause I'm poor.

It does not work in other countries, that's why you can only ride a 125 inside spain with your car license, tho some countries have similar convalidations and shit
