3 piece wheels are great because you can change diameters, 15 16, 17 in etc and you can change offset and width, all you need to do is swap the barrels and lips around, they also look amazing.

though it's worth mentioning that OEM is not always a guarantee of quality
for example nissan 350z wheels tend to rust (well not rust, since aluminum doesn't rust, but they corrode)

I went from 24 lbs per wheel to 18 when I got my pf01. Which completely offset the weight I gained in rubber. Overall still lost about 1 lb per corner and went from 205/45 to 235/40 tires.

Considering it's rotational mass it is kind of a big deal

Would any wheel experts know why M244s aren't fitting my Turbos properly? I'm wondering if maybe there's something up with my wheels, or if maybe Turbos came in slightly different variants depending on the manufacturing date or something like that.

They're OEM caps, and I've seen other Turbos with M244s or M283s on them, and the caps seem to fit fine. Even talked to a guy who had M244s on his Turbos and he said they fit perfectly. There's a 0.0685" difference in width, and a 0.0465" difference in thickness between the caps that are currently on the wheels and the M244s I have. I'm about to make a improvised lathe and file them down to the proper size, but I really don't want to.
