Just split the ride there into 2 days, I was a complete noob at the first SEM and had to ride over 12 hours. Sought out twisties on purpose and worked on gitting gud.

So I bought my first motorcycle finally. I'm not really a Harley person, but my dad insisted I start on one. Sadly I think I over paid.
I digress from my point here though, my goal with this bike is to truly turn it into something I do love, and mod the fuck out of it. I was going to turn it into either a Cafe Racer or Bobber. First changes will probably be with the seat and handlebars and I'll go from there.

After riding my cruiser, I can assure you you're wrong. It's far easier to lock up the rear tire because once you brake, weight is transferred from the back of the bike to the front.

Got pulled up doing 210 in a 100 zone.... the 100 zone being a 4 lane highway on a clear day with no traffic and the only danger in doing 200+ being the danger of being pulled over.
That was 8 months ago, still got 4 months left before I get it back just felt like venting.

At least you learnt, anon. As long as you know the area moderately well, you can escape fairly easily. The key is to make as many turns as possible as often as possible, trying to get out of sight at the earliest opportunity. (Unless your bike is fast enough to just use top speed to get away and off the road before support is called).

Use your mobility and superior acceleration to take routes that aren't feasible for the cops.

Of course, if the cop is also on a bike, the situation may be somewhat more difficult.

The lesson you should have learned is where and when to speed. If you're speeding everywhere, you're going to get nailed a lot but just keeping an eye out for spots cops might be reduces it a shitload.

I speed probably 80% of the time but have never gotten a ticket in 7 years because I slow down where I've seen them before or where they would likely be hiding.

If you were already doing 210 and the police were able to pull you over, what makes you think that you could outrun them?

Also, they got your plate (unless you ride without it). Once they have it, they can just stop chasing you, search up who you are and go wait for you in your driveway.
