No, a 3071 internal gate is a bolt on mod. But top mount is cool and external gates are excellent for boost control.

3071 or 3082, E85, forward facing plenum, you're good for a very decent amount of power, and boost should come on from 2500rpm onwards.

I personally think it's a little small, especially once you're running E85 and have a good tune, but a flacon turbo is bolt on from there.
