One problem with is that is that since the plate isn't behind the wheel or above the fender, now the tire will fling up water and dirt onto the plate which could make it unreadable. And yeah that tyre is dual compound, i put it on at 12,000km and it has lasted until 22,000km so it has done really well, pilot power 3

When the rain lets up, I'm going to try loosening all the pinch bolts and bouncing the forks. We'll see.
