Too much water pressure in the rad, pissed me off when driving to the shop so be careful of overheating. Also check if your clutch/brake lines are tightened and your caps are tightened to especially the oil cap. Dunno how to fixed it but the mechanic did, I paid a ton of dosh of repairs so I can't point to what fixed it, either the tune or the engine repair

AFAIK the mech will do everything with the parts installed. He cant "build" the car i think, but as long as everything is kinda together and the body parts are attached he will fix dents, make everything good, and shit.

yes hover it, then pull out the wrench and see if the bolts spawned. if they didn't spawn, lower it 1 click and look again. etc. If the engine touches anything solid, it will detach from the hoist so be careful in your positioning

Jesus Christ guys I need your help. I've gotten everything on the car put together (well, everything necessary for it to run so no doors, lights, etc.) and the engine runs like a top.

I checked every bolt in the damned thing a dozen times (yes, all of them. 4 at the wheels, 8 on the line itself, 2 on the master cylinder and 1 on the pedal). Even checked the save file to make sure I wasn't missing any. Still nothing.

The only thing I can think of that could be wrong is that the fluid in the cylinder isn't full. If I remember correctly one chamber is totally full while the other is a little over half. Could that be it?

Get the car running HOT

Around middle of the range.

Take out the cover of the cyl head (notice that while the engine is running and there is no cover you WILL lose oil)

Get the screw driver per valve.

Scroll down until you hear clicks.

Scroll down until you hear no more clicks

Scroll down until you hear clicks again

Scroll up just one point above when you hear clicks

Do this per valve. 5 mins max to take care of everything. The engine should be running smooth as fuck.

Close the cyl head, fill up the oil again and you will be happy.
Now to help me:

Where do i dump trash that gets removed from the gameworld so that my FPS improve? the blue barrel doesn't seem to delete objects.

And a little tip: It seems like if you close the doors holding down the left mouse you might dent it a little bit. Its better to click once to get it close to the car frame and again to actually close it.

You don't need to remove the valve cover. Just go down 18 clicks and up 7 on every valve and you'll get a good baseline.

I realize its early access but even at $14 I think thats a bit too much for how little there is in game.

Also the tractor's parking brake is LITERALLY useless. I put it on so I could get out and attach the towing cable to the car and the tractor rolled down the slight incline taking the car with it.

this game needs more stuff to do badly

while it's brim with small details and the initial experience is almost overwhelming, it becomes pretty clear there is not much to do after you finish your car and pass the inspection, aside from that rally of course

the fact that the dev mentioned something in early access page that the game is pretty much finished aside from story mode and some kind of challenges is a bit worrisome

not that it would make me upset, i don't buy early access game hoping for meaningful updates, but it would make me sad

You can still do something similar to cut wood quickly. Lay ax on the edge of the wood and it'll knock both sides of the log to the side and you can spawn a new one in about a second. You still have to throw it in the truck but this way you don't have to switch back and forth when one stays on top of the log.
