Are you sure? the half shaft is held on by the same bolt that holds on the brake disc or something like that, make sure you don't tighten the bolt before both parts are on. And take off the strut before you put the half shaft on.

I had the same issue, my car shat out both half shafts and the entire engine for no goddamn reason when I first tried to start it after it was all assembled.

finally got the benismobile tuned into 15:1 warmed up!!!! :D:D:D:D

What am I doing wrong? I can get the race exhaust pipe on no problem when I tried but I'm in the process of making my car ready to pass emissions and I can't get stock exhaust pipe to fit. I got the check mark like twice in the last 30 minutes and it fell off the second I clicked it on. I don't have any other race components in.

I had the same issue. I would get the check mark, but when attaching it it would just fall off.

I experienced this once before when I tried to put the wheel bearing holder onto the car when the lower control arm wasn't fastened; it just kind of fell off.

But everything was attached. Headers were on and tightened. Still, only fell off when I tried to attached. Save/come back, same thing. Couldn't get it, went no-pipe until I died into a treeline.

Serious question:

How do i tune the carb and the rocker arms and the alignment to make the car actually work?

I keep hearing the rocker arms needs to get "X clicks up, Y clicks down" but that sounds like horseshit. isn't there a way to hear/check where's the optimal point?

And is the carb tuning modifying the idle screw or the mix in-game? Because everywhere i see the screw of the carb only changes the power of the engine.

And of course, i am annoyed that there is no way to align the car yourself since there are no tools to do so.

Other than that my car its fucking ready. Have to fix the front chassis since for some reason anything bends the car, but other than that and installing the body the car is in top shape.

You have to use a hex editor.

I always turn the screw until the valve starts ticking and then tune it until it's one click away from ticking. If they're already ticking, then it's best to reset them. On the old version I used to use 18 clicks down and 6-7 clicks up to get the optimal setting. You can also align the car by eye to get it fairly straight and then go to the drag strip to finalize it. All you need is a wrench. Deleting the meshsave before starting the game will fix any dents, but won't repair the windshield or a blown engine.

Yes on the valves. The carb should be tuned so that there's a faint white smoke on full throttle. You can get the AFR gauge to check your tune, but I just took the screwdriver with me and tuned it by the exhaust and feel.

The car should be pretty warmed up and the AFR should be 15:1 or 16:1 to pass inspection/cruising or if i want to get power i would set it up to 12:5, right?

Shifter doesn't move/respond to controls, but when I hold down the ignition the alternator and pulleys all spin. Wheels respond to controls, and I can see the pedals move when I hold forward/backward.

Adjust the valves. Pick the screw, scroll down each valve until you stop hearing clicks, then keep scrolling down until you hear them again, stop, and scroll up to the point just when you dont hear them. A scroll down and it starts to click, so keep it where it doesn't click.

That's the ideal point. After ive done that the car idled just fine and changing gears was smooth.

Are you sure you have everything of the shifter bolted? just in case, unbolt it and take it out and then place it back together.

Its 3 bolts on the tranny-side of the shifter, and 4 on the floor to keep it there.

Dont forget that the gear drive (what pushes the clutch in on the outside of the gearbox) has 7 bolts, not 6.

I mean. The consume is kinda realistic for it to be a 12 liter turbocharged diesel, but what's the point for the engine? 12 liter diesels usually dont require turbos and turbo diesels are not that big, the truck doesn't reach more than 120 kmh so the secret must be in the torque.


But what the fuck is the point if the truck is empty most of the time? as soon as i finish draining shit i just let it all out and the truck could have 1200 hp on the diesel engine and it wouldn't matter.

The van consumes a little bit less but its easier to fill it up so i dont mind that much.
