In the past I've responded to peoples custom colors and then either forgot to re-mark them as unread or I've gotten them mixed up. I know that's my own fault but I'm just doing it the simplest way to not screw it up.

I started out 8x3, but for a couple designs I went to 8x2.75 to keep the proportions right. I liked the way it looked better, so most of my slap-sized stuff is 8x2.75 now.

That said, like the other anon brought up you should work on making a proper one in photoshop or something, they look like they were shoved into an autovector program as is and that tends to make dots look like pure trash.

Well mostly I meant Photoshop/Clip for generating a screen tone texture. Don't do vector work in Photoshop, please. Vector software (Inkscape, Illustrator) can use masked bitmap textures, just make sure they're 300+DPI for print work. Also, screentones should be black, not grey; they're estimating a tone using spot color.

Depends on what you're doing with it. If you mean layering, the best is clear transfer tape but it's much stickier. If you're selling stickers you'll probably get complaints about people ruining their stickers because of it (learned from experience).
There is semi-transparent which is less sticky but semi-transparent. It makes layering quite a bit harder but you'll get fewer complaints. The brand I use for this is r-tape and it's good quality as far as I can tell.
If you're just doing this for yourself I'd probably go with the stickier clear stuff because it makes it easier and if you make a mistake you can just make a new sticker.

Pretty similar. You think it's less opaque until you're actually layering. I've fucked up tons of stickers because I try to get close enough to see and then it sticks down too quickly.
I recently acquired a light table which helps a lot but it hasn't solved all of my issues.
I don't know the brand of my clear stuff but it's pretty common. Just look for high-tac stuff and you'll usually find it in clear

Like make the bottom 80% on the first layer the easy opaque stuff, missing the registration marks

then lay the top 20% with the super sticky clear stuff, catching the registration marks and overlaying the opaque

basically making a hybrid transfer tape s.t. you cut all the clear away with the reg marks after assembly.

That's actually a decent idea
I just tried sticking a layer of clear transfer over the opaque stuff. It doesn't stick extremely well, but it's enough that you could layer with the clear but have the actual design on the opaque.

In fact, since it doesn't stick overly well you could even remove the clear after layering. It's a bit time consuming but probably worth it if you need precision.
