Does anyone else on /o/ b/o/at?
Boston Whaler 315 Pilot here
I had 3 boats at one point, but I wasn't using them. I'm really enjoying the 315 thus far, and I use it almost every day now.

Gonna try this thing out quite soon, 1953 that has sat in my grandparents basement since 1995

Also, this is automotive, boats are an /n/ thing if you didn't know.
Cars, motorcycles, etc = /o/ exclusively
Boats, planes, bikes, busses, gliders, everything else = /n/
I dream of the Donzi 16 Classic w/ wraparound passenger seat and a Chevy 350.

How are busses not /o/?
>>15473630
Because they're public transportation, and /n/ literally has a busrider general.
However, busses that are owned privately, converted for daily use, etc are posted here occasionally.

1990 Eliminator with 383 Stroker motor.
As a guy who likes being on the water whether it be a lake or out in the ocean I actually recently bought a ski.
2015 Kawasaki ultra 310 R
I find them interesting from an engineering standpoint, but I doubt I'll ever have enough money to pour into such a hobby and there's nothing noteworthy to boat on around here anyway.
>tfw you will never revolutionize the market by making hydrofoil small yachts mainstream

You take it on lakes or oceans more?
Used to have a couple. They are a blast to get out on a flat lake and just tear it up at 60mph+. A day out on the ocean will make your ass hurt like you just got out of prison.
They were a waste of money though, especially since I lived in Chicago at the time. I would only get them out 2 or 3 weekends a summer. It would be fun to get down on some again (although I would probably rather have a crotch rocket and bass boat) but I kinda told myself I would never get another boat or watercraft unless I lived on the water.
Wish I had pics of them. Had a 2 seater Ski-Doo that was so fun to ride because it was small and you could whip it around, and a big 3 seater Yamaha. Both 2-strokes before the EPA went full buzzkill.
I got a 770 Tigershark for $300 a few years ago that needed rings, $400 worth of work+parts and it's been great. May paint it this winter.
i want a boat so fucking bad
not having luck finding one

the word automotive doesn't specify wheeled land vehicle
a boat is automotive by any reasonable sense of the word
I are big boaty boaty

Wow, that's ancient! If you get it running, that's worth good money. What a cool find.

I see more and more Whaler's in the tropics. Everyone I have spoken with seems to love them.
