about to purchase a new bike but i need advice:

ive been looking at a ninja 250 r, 18000km, never dropped or crashed, everything original on the bike, always kept in garage. guy is seling it for 2600 euros, looks flawless on pics. im gonna have a friend test ride it to see if its alright technically, ie: gear box, engine etc.

Sportsbikes are manufactured for manlets, the 5'2" Italian pimp to race from one cafe to another, to go really stupid fast for short distances. I'd get a fast naked bike if you're tall or you are using a bike to commute to do something other than ride the twisties immediately outside of town once a month.

I always preferred a standard/ naked because I like having my feet underneath me, I can stand up on the footpegs if I need to run over a speedbump or pedestrian at 50mph, I can tuck in on a standard if I need to. The aerodynamics of the rider are much less important than sportsbike manufacturers seem to think and upside-down fetal position with all your weight on your wrists is not a comfortable position for anybody.
