Trying to install some lower bars on this old crappy tomos project I've got and I can't seem to get the left hand brake lever fixed onto the new bar
Anyone have any tips? I've tried heat, lubricating the thing, elbow grease, but nothing seems to want to work for me
Also, anyone know where I can get an aftermarket intake that'll allow me to mount a larger carb on? The stock one doesn't let in enough air for my new larger bore to function and it's the one thing keeping this from being a "running project"

Is there a clamp on the lever perch that you can loosen?

You might be able to find a rubber boot to adapt to a larger carb from a plumbing store or something. Maybe something from another bike too.

Carb diameter shouldn't keep it from running though. Did you rejet it when you put the bigger cylinder on?

In a bit of a dilemma

I'm feeling that I've outgrown my SV650. It's a 2001, naked, and I've been riding it for the past 3 years. Starting to think it's time to move on to a different bike. I intend on getting into a sport bike, but here is the issue:

Do I go for a 600, and ease my way into sport bikes, or do I get the 1000 and grow my way into it?

I want ALL the bikes. I just can't make up my mind about which one I want the most.
