Welp, baiku is running and has most major plastics on. I managed to splice into the old HID harness the PO had running from the tail section to the front end so I could keep quick-connectors on the bulb for easy swaps later on, ballast is currently sitting between ECU and subframe so I can bolt it down and lock it in.

As for my rearview camera and mirrors, someone fucking misplaced my goddamn drill so I can't make necessary modifications to my block-off plates to make them fit the stock mirror holders or set up the mount for the screen and camera.

Now I just need to figure out what I'm going to splice into for the rearview so it actually gets power and works. I'm thinking tail light.

they are a good all round budget beginner bike, good for learning to ride on and great for learning how to wrench your own shit because >lolktm meme
but the maintenance on a ktm is literally the easiest bike maintenance to be done so they are always a good learning experience.
Not likely that you would have to do any engine maintenance unless you were getting one with over 50,000km on it but if you did even that is easier than on most bikes being a single cylinder that you can take the head off without removing the engine from the frame.

as far as performance goes they are great through corners and the brakes work well enough, when it comes to power i would only say it is lacking on up hills and even then it is not really all that bad.

And just a btw if you want it to commute on get the duke, if you want to hit the twisties on the weekend get the rc390, duke is a better all rounder because i sure as shit would not want to be commuting on an rc.

I fixed the error, tested it on the grid computing cluster, it gave the same error because some module isn't installed.
Can't fuck with the installed modules there, can't ask coworker because she isn't here, supervisor says to ask coworker, so I let my pc compute the thing instead (4 jobs, each around 10 hours when running locally).

It's meh at best for commuting. It's a nice first big bike, sounds nice with a can, handles admirably well for its weight and background (biggest let down is stupidly low pegs).

All in all not bad though, I'm happy enough with mine, but it'll be going as soon as I get my A license.

Well I'm most definitely not tall so I don't have a reference, but tallfags look so cramped in any sports car and on any decent motorcycle. And in my experience, whether due to their additional weight or the ungainly seating position, they're always really slow and wobbly when driving/riding hard. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's not the weight as I'm a pretty built guy and weigh as much as or more than most tallfags.
