Alright, I'm going to be looking at this tomorrow. Not my first Craigslist deal, but my first time looking at a bike. The Daytona is back in action, it turns out when putting the fuel pump back together we fucked up and an O-ring didn't seat right, so it wasn't making any pressure. But luckily I got it back together and running for free. Took a ride after work and in my search for twisties I found a forest preserve full of people in nice cars looking to race. Beat a C63 AMG and saw an R1M riding around, the R1M actually looks a lot better in person than in pictures. Decided to head back because it looked like rain, but got an excellent sunset on my way back.

Yes sir, yellow is a 75 400 with only 2363 miles ever put on it before it sat somewhere Missouri and survived pretty well. The 250 in Balboa blue is a 78 that was in excellent condition, with only the clutch D ring out of tune so bike would cut out when putikng it in first, took 20 minutes to fix. That one is 2400 miles.

the seat is fucking horrible no matter where you sit on it, leaning into corners means that seat is getting comfy inside your butt crack and with normal cruising each bump shatters your tail bone.

The suspension is too stiff for bumps yet too soft for heavy braking and you can not adjust the preload or the dampening.

the ABS is on all the time, can't turn that shit off.

I took it for an couple hour drive to new york and back, as I was getting close to my house it started sputtering and backfiring hard in any rev especially from taking off from a stop. I cleaned the carbs I think it's ignition related...again. I fucking replaced all the coils like 6 months ago.

you can mitigate most of the change in geometry by sliding the forks up in the clamps a little bit to keep them from raking out.
