Well tried out the yellowbird with SVStreet tires.
It still quite stable, not retard proof but easy enough. Without the turbo it's retard proof stable though.
At least it's the first car that doesn't feel like massive understeer, mainly because the turbos sudden torque boost can help you destablize the car and make it go sideways.

hi I'm the guy who's been helpful to you these past few days.
The understeer you're feeling could also be a side effect of using maximum left/right inputs. Most cars have very extreme full-lock positions, for a tighter turning circle during slow maneuvers like going around parking lots or doing U-turns. On a track, at race speed, a full steering input will actually produce understeer because the speed of the car going forward is overpowering the front tires at full lock. Half-lock or something like that will keep the tire from being pushed straight ahead, and you'll have proper steering. I would just say refrain from judging the cars you're driving until you can get a proper wheel or controller that can do something other than zero or maximum input.
I hope that makes sense, I made this real quick to try and visually explain it. The black line is the momentum of the car, the tires at a moderate lock and at "full lock". Does that make sense?

What's the real difference between arcade, simulator, and simcade driving games?

From what I get, arcade driving are those that use simplified, exaggerated physics, and fun gimmicks that doesn't exist in real life, simulators are those that simulate the physics in real world driving, and simcade are the ones in between, they use half realistic physics and a few gimmicks.

If so, then why is Gran Turismo labeled as driving sim? The car customization is a bit complex and realistic, but the way all cars have stiff as hell suspension, barely any bodyroll, and no damage when crashing whatsoever, is pretty unrealistic.

In the other hand, why do games like FlatOut 1 get arcade or simcade label? I think FlatOut 1 simulates car physics and damages more accurately than Gran Turismo. When you see the replay of FlatOut 1, it looks flawlessly closer to realism than Gran Turismo. Why doesn't it get the sim label?

True, it's a pigfat low on power 80s classic.
I guess it's the weird change in handling between generations.
For example the older smaller cars are pretty revy, light, all over the place, etc.

Another one which surprised me was the Miura, I didn't know about the drop in power at the high revs before the redline, which if true to real life it's kinda interesting since it's quite the drop.

I raced you the entire race without touching your car and you try to drive through me off the last turn...and for what ..3rd over 4th....very intelligent. So instead of a good 3rd and 4th we finish in the back. Simulation is when the the values for everything affecting the car are calculated.

ln simcade and arcade those values are provided. Simcade just provides more realistic values than arcade.

Flatout was not a simulation but the values provided were accurate enough to make it feel believable. The values provided might have been better than those calculated by GT.

Well considering I started this whole racing thing like 2 months ago on an arcade game, you have to understand a lot of the things are new and exciting for me. Just having the car under control, having it drift is newish experience for me.
I genuinely just post "progress reports" to share my excitement and the fun I am having with racing, not to show off.
Though I understand if you have been playing racing sims for years then whatever I am showing is below basic level.

How can you be happy at all playing with malfunctioning gear? That would drive me absolutely insane. Use a 360 pad or anything else. Right now you are wasting your time and teaching yourself bad habits.

It would be one thing if you were playing with a broken controller on purpose, but what's pissing people off is that you're asking for genuine driving advice and the best advice you're going to get is "buy a new fucking wheel". That's like showing up in /dbt/ with a forkless motorcycle and asking how to do a stoppie.
