To be honest, with all that oil on the road it could have happened to anyone.

The femanon sustained minor injuries to her right side, most of what looked to be glass cuts to her arm as the side window smashed.

Also i'm the offsider, not the driver.

We rushed over and she was in quite a bit of shock. The driver calmed her down and told her not to move. I grabbed a towel from the truck to protect her from the rain.

When the cops showed up we explained what happened and asked if they wanted to see the footage, but they weren't interested as only one vehicle was involved.

Can be pretty scary since they're much lighter than cars and only 2 points of grip. Not so bad if you have a bigger bike with a nice set of thicker wheels. Pretty easy to aquaplane if you're not focusing. Best to clutch in a little if you go through a big sketchy puddle just so there's no chance of the rear slipping out due to either too much/little gas. Well way back then I had fuck all knowledge on cars are far as mechanical work, I had grown up fixing up and selling bikes with Dad so it was all small engine knowledge, two stroke rebuilds fucking eyes closed work, big bore road bikes a little more complex back then for me. Hey, atleast thats only the left side end tank burst, there isn't any engine oil from the timing cover/upper and lower sump. Transmission fluid from where the 4 or five bolts that hold the diff in place have vibrate loose and smashed a fucking hole in the gearbox. It also isn't currently on fire due to the fact Holden didnt find it nesscary to cover the starter motor main positive cable with a rubber sheild. So a small bracket that also vibrates loose falls on it, bridging it to the block.

OR

The poorly deisgned PCV valve hasn't feed oil into the turbo, leaking out of the intake pipe down onto the exhaust.

I would be, seems rather odd. Go have a look at it and perform a VIN search there on your phone. It's not hard to do, but you do need a Visa/Mastercard to do the search online.

If the VIN shows up clean and the car checks out you shouldn't have any problems, but that rego not showing up is a small concern.
