I literally just bought it, and probably will only be able to get it on Monday. paid 4 grand for it, mileage is at 48k km (a little under 30k miles), so it's not exactly new, but it seems to have been taken care of.
I'll probably only ride it on the road, so I don't know if it even makes sense to buy a skid plate.

Not him but the CB400 makes more torque than the bandit, it has better suspension than the bandit and it has better brakes than the bandit, if they remade the bikes they would be better for sure but their age shows, admitted for the price difference in buying the bikes you could probably make a bandit better easily just by changing the suspension, front brakes, exhaust and air filter.

Ay I came back from another ride because new (huehue "new") bike.

So different from a big single. It does nothing at low revs. Over 6k revs this thing is ludicrous. It goes from speed limit to jail time in absolutely nothing. Also it's so stable at speed :3.

I'm gonna start tearing it down tomorrow and probably blogpost about how I have to replace half a bike anyway, I've already identified half a dozen problems. But that's alrite. I knew exactly what I was getting myself into.

Hey /o/ I am trying to buy a nice street bike as an upgrade from my old bike, and I have been looking for an R6 because they seem decently easy to maintain and repair, and also decently fast.

I have the MT03 which is my DD, the CBF250 which I'm gonna put for sale next week and this CBR600 I picked up today which will be a project bike for a while until spring, then it'll be a toogay machine I can ride without worrying about throwing several thousand euros into a ditch.

I'm not actually thaaat rich, I'm just on a comfortable financial situation and I rarely spend money on other things. If you sum the purchase price of those 3 bikes you get 5200€. Quite a few people spend way more than that on only a single vehicle, be it either a car or a bike.

Actually I was divided between this CBR and a Twingo because I wanted to live the MERCI life, but maybe that can come later.
