Car Talk is awesome. I wish they could still make new episodes.

I always bring some car talk cds with me on long road trips. I miss them.

The Car Talk guys are townies. Once you live in the Boston metro area for a bit, there is nothing fun about townies anymore.

I always though they were really REALLY good with all cars when I listened as a kid, always wanted to know as much as them. I only found/reasoned out the episodes were prerecorded after listening for ~10 years.

Something like that, all I know is when they were making new episodes you had to call in on Thursday. Then they call you back on Saturday when the episode airs, or it is actually prerecorded on thursday, I'm not sure about this part.

Don't feel bad anons. They were recombining old segments into "new" episodes for a year or two before he died. If you enjoyed the show through then, you'll still keep enjoying it.
