ITT: Post comfy railroads
Beat this
Currently the only Fiji locomotive in operation in the US.
Carver, Massachusetts.
I have all of you beat

It's obviously CP though.
>>1027449
that really is comfy
>tfw you will never be a train driver in canada
why live
>>1027452
Whoops, pic related is cn_loco_1, just messed up naming that one
>>1027466
>driving through Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba
yeah nah, you'd probably be driven insane.
Not sure if this counts but it makes me think back to the hot and lazy summer days.
>>1027466
Why not be a "Canadian" train crew in the US instead?
I really like the look of the old EMUs that run the less popular commuter lines here.
>>1027481
What city?
>>1027495
>VR
Helsinki.
Northeast Corridor in Groton, Connecticut.
Why is America's only decent rail line so shitty?
ywn come out of a tunnel as your tail end is still going in.
>>1027495
>>1027498
Nope, Riihimäki.
OC
>>1027425
Where is this?
>>1027580
Kemence, northern-central Hungary
>>1027444
My dad was born in Klevan, he has fond memories of going on walks there.
>>1027444
those tracks look terribly run down but those trees look like the track is very busy and trains keeps them mowing like that.
there is just something fishy about the picture
quiet stations at night are so comfy

Do you even vape?
>>1030555
>Implying that specific locomotive is still running (it's not, FYI).
>>1031679

That quiet station at night does indeed look comfy...until that creepy clown hiding behind that wall jumps out at you.
>YOU GONNA GET RAPED!

MBTA Longwood station

What are some good places to visit on the MARC train network anon?
>>1034159
What the hell do we see here? The track became so abandoned that hunters built a tower on it?
>>1034158
I live next to there, but I think there are nicer stations than the Vennebeck one
>>1034161
mmm that's some damn fine infrastructure
>>1034169
harpers ferry for certain
lovely little town with lots of history
just factor in that you'll have to overnight there
>>1034169
this >>1034440 if you can stand the tourists
also on the Brunswick line Brunswick and Martinsburg are OK but again, an overnighter because no day roundtrips from DC
On the Penn line Edgewood is a comfy little station but the best is Perryville at the north end...there's a nice park right by the Susquehanna bridge.
On the Camden line St Denis used to be a nice spot but I don't know now.
Local commuter train station
>>1034188
Exactly.
>>1034410
Yeah, I posted it because it's abandoned and I like abandoned transport infrastructure.
>>1034434
The state's government does not share that opinion. There's a huge argument going on whether or not raised platforms should be built and everybody is getting mad about the trams in that street.
French Pyrenees
>>1034677
seems like a bit of a dangerous angle to take a photo
>>1035385
The train is probably stopped to pick people up you mongoloid

Good show, can't wait for it to come back
>>1035381
There is just something about the more remote lines, usually using older rolling stock and infrastructure, creaking along through rugged terrain.
>>1035380
OP here, mine is 600mm
>>1027446
Hey, it's a Hudswell Clarke.
We had fuckloads of 'em in Australia on Sugar Cane plantations, etc.
A few are operational, and a majority of static displays in private hands.
>>1033637
Fuck, I've been there before. I live in Northern VA, there's no fucking trains at all and it's infested normies.
>>1037561
>no trains at all
untrue though comfy doesn't require density
>infested normies
>>>/r9k/
>>1033695
perhaps Norman Bates is the Stationmaster
>YES, MOTHER!

_!_
>>1037583
I should call them normalfags, I'm just lazy and normie is easier to type. I don't actually associate with /r9k /.
>>1037426
Did you know that Hudswell Clarke also made the casing for the first generation of British tactical nukes?
Can't get much more /comfy/ than Northern Virginia
>>1027544
republicans, most likely
>>1033303

The driver kept braking too late, so they built the tower instead and put his family in it.
