Yeah, can attest that most of those videos don't do her live act justice AT ALL - especially since the pitch/dynamic range of her music (lots of really high-pitched vocals coupled with deep, booming bass/percussion) distorts the frequency responses of most consumer-grade audio recording gear (especially phone mics.)
Figured this out after her seeing her live last year. Was expecting a fair amount of out-of-tune-ness based on YouTube videos. Went to the concert, and noticed NOTHING being out-of-tune despite there being cellphone vids OF THAT SAME CONCERT on YouTube where the tuning sounds wonky.
Some shit's just gotta be experienced live to appreciate properly. Eg. Tool is the same way (saw them live for the first time earlier this year.) Music is a COMPLETELY different experience when you can feel the baselines resonating in your calves.
