Is it bad that even with its sparse arrangements I honestly enjoy listening to the album outside of its overall context? I even find myself singing along sometimes...
I really feel for Phil and I find the lyrics to be incredibly powerful coming from a place so genuine, but in general i feel very disconnected from anything that doesn't effect me directly so after the first few listens the emotional resonance somewhat faded.
