probably my fav album by Scorn. Has some pretty great bangers like Lick Forever Dog and Heavy Blood always puts me in a trance. It does drag on a bit tho.

More I think out of riding the wave of glam, and just taking it to its logical conclusion of a full blown spectacle to the point their costumes were legitimately made by companies for circus use. Full theatrics and makeup just blew anything the glam era could ever reach from there on, at least visually. I'll also say partly cause up until Love Gun they actually gave a shit about songwriting, whereas everything after that is a derivative of whatever was in at the time.

Ever since the the end of the reunion in like 2002, that's pretty much the case with them still sticking with the makeup afterwards. Its pretty tragic given any footage you see currently now they're playing in the fucking key of L to compensate for Paul's voice. And as far as the "spectacle" you can tell they've been toning it down now since any and all people that even go are content with just them in costume it seems like, since stateside they've only filling like 5-10K person venues.

From what I understand it's that they're all relatively popular as metal goes. Basically if you've been listening to metal for any decent length of time you know most if not all albums/bands on the chart. They're all high production too, no old shit-tier production that some people especially metalheads like.

I was into shitty music for most of high school. Linkin Park, 30 Seconds to Mars, Skillet, Shinedown to name a few of the bands I liked in freshman and sophomore year. A little less than halfway through junior year I listened to Metallica for the first time and started to get into metal.

I never really listen to any of the first four bands I mentioned but still listen to a lot of the metal I picked up in high school. Granted I did just finish my freshman year in college so it hasn't been very long.

The material ended up getting released, albeit partially re-recorded, years later as "Logan/Robertson - Revisited". Sadly the CD's long out of print and worth a small fortune these days though, with it being pretty rare on file sharing websites as well.
