Wrong.
They need to be replaced with icy synth interludes and bleak industrial soundscapes.

but the smooth jazz interludes are so boring, uneventful, dull, out-of-place, meaningless, unimpressive and devoid of atmospheric value that they end up making the album even MORE boring than if it were more homogenous and synth-heavy.

It's like putting 10-min-long still shots of a clock ticking right in the middle of Back to the Future. It does nothing but break the flow of an album that's already complex and varied enough without those interludes.

The album is all about out-of-place pieces. It's about being erratic. Turning homogeneous would more so break the flow and would overall just be boring. You also act as though piano isn't used in any other places of the album (see Sonar Bliss, completion, Ion Storm, etc)

Gaahl and King are nu-male.

Pentagram, Antichrist, UTSOH, and Destroyer are patently the most aggressive BM albums from the 90's I've heard. They set very high standards in terms of harshness, and nobody gives them any credit because they just think of Gorgoroth as the modern entity that it became after 2000

One riff, from one song, in the entire album. Surprised you didn't choose the acoustic bit on the opener. Are you always this retarded or do you keep all your special retardness intact throughout the day so you can use it all at once in this general? Are you going to tell me that there are no similar moments in the albums you're calling the most aggressive of the 90s? The doomy Sorg? The pointless interludes on UTSOH? The melancoly of Måneskyggens Slave? Or am I just being trolled?

though it's nowhere near as melancholic as some of the stuff on nattens madrigal, nm is about as aggressive as most sargeist albums which is to say not particularly

the point is that you're trying to say nattens madrigal is one of the most aggressive bm albums of the 90s. and still there are plenty of 90s albums/bands more aggressive than gorgoroth. what about marduk or beherit or blasphemy?

It was released on Profile Records in September 1986 and subsequently re-released by Another Planet in 1994, along with their second album, 1989's Best Wishes, on the same disc. The video for "We Gotta Know" received airplay on MTV at the time (during their alternative/underground specialty show 120 Minutes and later on the heavy metal-hard rock show Headbangers Ball), and was one of the first-ever clips on MTV to feature slam dancing and crowd surfing.
