I just finished listening to it the first time. Most times I have to listen to an album multiple times to start liking them but the album felt like a step up from their previous work which I adored. I was honestly scared about how it would turn out but it jumped to an AOTY contender almost immediately,

That is my opinion though. If you don't like it that's ok too

Hey guys, Robin here. If you don't like the new album you should kys ;)

It feels like a natural evolution of the lyricism and songwriting found on Helplessness Blues. I think it's a far more confident and expressive album than their previous efforts and I really appreciate that it seems to show itself further with each successive listen. To those who are skeptical: give it a few more listens and the gentle nuance of the album will expand in some really gratifying ways.
